Jan I enjoy your videos expessially when miistakes are made. I don't feel such alone in making some! Also it helps when you explain how to fix and even avoid them. You are absolutely my favorite TH-cam demonstrator. You were one of the first card tutorials I started watching years ago but the rest of them all seem to just be pushing new products to buy to make every card and by the time I can buy them they're out of stock. Not trying to be mean or disrespectful to anyone but you are awesome. Especially because you can demonstrate how to make the same design without all the fancy do dads and what not. Much appreciated.

Love this card and Jan i love how easy you make it to follow along and make the card with you.... i struggled when adding the flowers and in the end i put a bit of cellophane under/behind the vase and added the flowers in between and then closed the card each time, worked really well and the cellophane stopped any glue getting on the card!

Janice if you breath a deep breath and huff on the glue strip your card will unstick easier. The warm moisture from your breath will loosen the glue. Give it a try on scrap and you’ll see what I mean. From Kentucky crafter.❤️

I like that you leave in the troubles we all run into as well. When I first started I got so frustrated because I couldn't understand what I couldn't make a card in as short a time as the video maker seemed to. I think its important for beginners to understand that sometimes it may take a day or more to finish a well made card. Plus your cards are always so classicly beautiful.

Wonderful card and instructions. When you have little hairy bits on paper after cutting; take a used emery board and go across the area and they will be removed.

Just found your channel absolutely a novice and would love to learn to make my own cards. Have no tools at all. But thank you for sharing
Jan can give you lots of tips, if you visit her page. Also ask her about what tools to consider when starting card making to make the best of your investments when starting. If you are in the UK or Europe, you might consider joining Stampin' Up! under Jan, even as a hobbyist, just to get an idea of how card making works and to get a discount. I'm in the US, but I have followed Jan just because her cards and makes are soooo beautiful and she has splendid ideas! The one tool Jan uses that I recommend, whether you join or are just a customer, is the "Stamperatus," the tool she used to stamp everything, because it is indispensable for stampers (and the best value among stamp platforms).

Very, very nice card!
I already recognize that I have to be well rested and attentive to make these, but they're so lovely. Adhering flowers onto the back of the card is fine as long as you stick the stems *behind* the mechanism.
I use PVA glue, so I won't have some of the difficulties Tombow glue has when it's oozing out.
