Fun card, Jan…..I crafted along with you tonight! The only thing you MIGHT add would be the little grass tufts along the base of the wall or on the back if you were to add a white piece for writing on. I might try the latter! But really, I like it the way it is. Thank you for teaching me so much…. I case a lot of your projects. ❤️

I’m always looking for new card designs in which to give a gift card, and this is perfect! I will retrofit the width of the left side to incorporate an envelope behind it, and add a little tab for the receiver to pull the gift card out of the sleeve. TFS!

Gold fish are very aggressive and will kill anything. I have one goldfish (that was a tiny feeder fish ) that is now 6 years old in a 40 gallon tank and it kills snails and any other fish I have put in there over the years. Each fish requires at least a 30 gallon space. My understanding is Koi fish are different then regular goldfish. Good luck with your pond and your new fish.

This year we had several newts in our pond but they have all disappeared! Ours are just regular goldfish. Fortunately we were able to rescue Snow White. Eventually, we caught the two bigger aggressive goldfish and they are now in my neighbours pond which has been devoid of fish for quite some time! xx

But you could first color the animals, then glue a second layer behind them and only then cut them out by hand? Wouldn't that work? :)
