- A quick overview of the Cadillac ATS-V big brake upgrade on the C5 Corvette project & final prep of the body panels before getting them sprayed today inside the portable Vector parts painting spray booth!
Not touching much in the painting aspect as it’s the same for everything that gets shot and it’s in a bunch of other videos so go check them out.

How much to you need to take off of the caliper? I would probably just machine it down a bit. I don’t have my car home for winter to mock it up, so just trying to get an idea of how much to remove.
Very much dependence on the machine spacers you use but I would say .030 to .060
@@JWsGarage ok thanks! I appreciate the response. I was debating running Wilwood Aero 6’s but it looks like I could put this together for about half the cost (or less) with 2 piece rotors. Might even just run blanks to start to see how they are on track.
@Teal2nnr if I were going to the track I would definitely go 6 piston front 4 rear. These are good for the occasional local track day and street performance but not a dedicated race caliper with out the rears.

Will this setup fit a C6 corvette? And also are those calipers same as c7 base corvette Brembos?

Can’t disagree but there’s a ton of Lotus and Mercury Marine engineering in Corvettes since 1984 so 🤷♂️
