@Meloncolliepoet That is a good point, but on the other hand if a facehugger can use various alien species as hosts a zombie might still be viable, especially if it is a still biologically alive zombie like WWZ opposed to the actually dead TWD type which can only die by destroying the brain, all others still rely on their organs, just like a facehugger.

This is pretty good story telling. Only bad thing is I now want to see this. Maybe we could get a tv series or even an animated series to tackle some of these scenarios that we'll never get in the theater.

Well, the zombie variant depends on which franchise it comes from. I think a Facehugger would be in serious danger if it infected a zombie from the Return of the Living Dead franchise. Then there's the Resident Evil zombies, affected by a virus. While there is also the Evil Dead Deadites, who are very similar to zombies. Then there's the Last of Us zombies, where the infection comes from a Cordyceps mutation.
Not to mention the Zombies from Dying Light, such as the Volatiles or The creatures from the Mercer Virus and though not a virus, let's also consider the Conduits from Infamous. Many possibilities when it comes to certain,in Davids possible words, biological entities.

Literally none of what you mentioned would pose a threat, except for the Deadites. But then again they're magic, and that doesn't exist in the Alien franchise.

Would it be confused and not know what to do? To follow either the instincts of the virus or its own instincts. Just thinking about this, and I can understand why he's obsessed with constantly studying the xenomorph and it's constant evolution.

Maybe if it were a freshly infected person who's still not fully turned/dead. Or maybe an infected like the L4D, the Rage infected from the Later movies or WWZ movie.

Unsuitable for use. Any other host with a disease would just be a host. The process does not copy every aspect of the host. Just the general makeup. A more interesting thought experiment would be what would a xenomorph be if born of an elephant, whale, or T-Rex, maybe a triceratops. Or even, what if a xenomorph was born of another xenomorph? A myriad of interesting options without having to resort to a non starter. Klingon, Tholian, the rock creatures. Perhaps the cute vicious creatures from galaxy quest. Tribbles? You could go somewhat supernatural. A wendigo for example, or Sasquatch. Leprechauns? Fairies? A human infected, regardless of whatever diseases they carry would just be a human born xenomorph. And even if say a vampire were infected, it really wouldn't produce anything any more special or deadly than a normal xenomorph. So what, it has two slightly longer teeth, but it'll still kill you all the same as one without them, and have the added benefit of being killed by UV. It's a fine exercise for primary school fan fiction shared between friends, but in reality it's impractical and doesn't really change the outcome. Captain America, or the Hulk? That's interesting. Perhaps something like Shazam. Sooooo many options without having to completely ignore the cannon and established biology of the creatures.

The countless numbers of zombie versions of the world war z version would be very interesting. I know 28 days are not zombies they would be wild to see if the facehugger attach yourself to the people with the rage virus in 28 days.
Actually what would actually happen is that the offspring will die becuase the host's undead nature, a zombie doesn't produce heat to keep the offspring warm nor does it produce blood to feed said offspring.
An Octopus.. Since clearly these are "What If' situations.. An octopus would have WilLD potential. A Xenomorph capable of countles shapes and camo, Acid ink, mixed intelligence and instinks. Theres a brain in all 8 limbs of octopi. How would That mix?..Would it be a protractive beak? Agh, You gotta do it man.
Since a zombie can't sedated like the face hugger does to a living victim, more than likely is that once the face hugger started the implantation the zombie would sink it's teeth into the face hugger thus spilling acid all over the zombie and the face hugger. Either way the zombie would be nothing but a puddle of meted goo. That's if the face hugger went after a dead creature.
Aliens: Reseractions (Aliens 4), What if after BBQing the Clones 1-7 Riply-8 discovers another Clone Riply-9 A child verion of Herself/Riply & She takes her as a Sibling/Offspring,
SCP-096 would go into a rage state and kill the shy guy due to it basically attacking SCP-096 even though it doesn't look at it's face attacking ot hurting it could enrage SCP-096 too and quickly heal from the acid and the chestburster would struggle to SCP-096's chest due to indestructible skeleton so it'll probably come from its neck or mouth and then SCP-096 would quickly kill it or attack it but neither would win due to the Xenomorph having it's same abilities but the Xenomorph is seemingly copied abilities to the creature they copy off is weaker SCP-096 would most likely kill it

Without a gag reflex the zombie would just bite down, sever the tube, and be melted by the acid blood.
The same thing as if David sat in front of an egg. Nothing. Zombies aren't alive and therefore are cold. They respond to life and heat.
