Three years later and this video is by far the most insightful piece I’ve seen from Rick without the fees! ❤❤❤❤❤
This is why Rick is the best astrologer... and really just educator, in general. He didn’t just teach us about the nodes of the moon... he also literally just made me feel like I now understand everything about how energy manifests in the universe. I feel like I’m on the same page as Einstein for the first time in my life after this video.
The knot moving along the rope as a metaphor for matter forming out of energy is what really made it click, but it took until he explained it in the context of light being a particle and a wave for it to really crystallize for me. I’ve used the ripples in a pond metaphor myself before, but I always only applied it to gravity, which I then applied to matter via gravity’s effect on matter. I wasn’t thinking about matter itself being nodes in the waves... THEN he made it apply to consciousness itself! Boom... mind blown. Consciousness arises out of greater complexity rising from a more and more complex knot being tied in the energy, and the frequency of waves decides the pattern in which the knot is tied, which is demonstrated when you look at cymatics. In cymatics, you play different sound frequencies and different patterns form in the sand. If you look at all physical objects as just patterns forming in the sand of energy at the node points of all the different frequencies playing out, then you realize everything about how the “illusion” is formed. 🤯

Also want to add that I love when Rick said that “being distracted by particles is fun! (Or painful)”, because the way I see it, that’s the whole point of the illusion. I mean, the illusion we’re experiencing may be the whole point of the universe... so that we can enjoy the universe. If the illusion wasn’t here, the universe would just be meaningless chaos. But it formed so we’d have something tangible to experience and enjoy. We mess it up when we take it too seriously and the stress puts unnatural knots into our energy. When the knot is too tight, it can’t slip along the rope. It’s stuck. You gotta loosen the knot before you can go with the natural flow of the energy.
I believe the best way to enjoy life is to seriously do everything you can to not have to take life seriously. lol

I am attempting to keep up with Rick’s astrology class...however I have listened to this ‘Node nothing’ 4 times and am amazed by the concept of Quantum cosmos. I feel dizzy when I look up to the stars and see waves and particles. Now I will focus on Earth and understanding the planets in a whole new way....I am so grateful- Deborah
I’m not completely sold on Evolutionary Astrology, but knowing where the nodes are definitely keys you in on where the eclipses are for any given year and that is extremely helpful when analyzing a moment in time.

This talk made me see that the nodes could indicate critical moments of condensed potentiality were one can act between the tides of change; simmilar to when an archer who holds his breathing while the wind stopped for a brief momen, so he can release a precise shot.

Ditto, so true. The place between or within the wave is meditation or silence: Quantum Physics non-locality outside of the particles. Particles: "fun," of feelings and surprises or distractions. We can find our hummm but astrology helps to prepare for the noise and illusions. The only particles of distractions that are fun create joy. However, a world with only love and joy may create boredom. Even with an astrological explanation to live well, one has to ride the wave.

I could listen to this all day long. Brilliant. Btw, the particle/wave thing makes perfect sense. It’s like time. You can focus on a day (particle) as it’s own entity and see what is happening in that particular day... but the day is also a part of the week/month/year/eternity (wave) so it’s a part of the whole. Just like we (human) are all part of a whole (God/Universe/energy). You can focus on just one human, and it can seem like a single entity.... but you must also remember it is just what you are looking at/experiencing at this moment and it’s actually just a part of the whole wave (God). 💕

This was intuitively beautiful to me even as I have absolutely no ability to mentally and mathematically understand this or have any physics aptitude.
I cannot wrap my brain around this. But my heart and imagination goes places that this world does not hold. I do not think I am very often a particle so much as a wave most days

He mentions Alain Aspect who discovered retrocausality. Astrology works because overlapping mathematical levels form symmetries that are not found on a single level and only then produce solutions to certain polynomial equations. To predict event behavior you organise data points into sets. This sort of thing is useful if you want to understand ie. insect breeding patterns (cicadas with their 13 and 17 year cycles, or ant colonies in take a breeding flight each year on a specific hour of a particular day in July.) It's also useful for understanding Elliptic Curve Cryptography.
