Really enjoy the way you teach us all !!!! I’ve tried golagappa and aloo chat , kulche, dal makhni ! They’re the best recipes... keep on posting Ranveer ! Great going
The most lovable part of your videos is when you speak about the origin of the dish
Ya
I made this Punjabi pakoda kadhi, at first I was not sure putting tomatoes in kadhi but when I tasted, it turned out super delicious!😋 All thanks to my fav Chef Ranveer Brar 🙏🏻
Ok let’s appreciate how smoothly he was explaining everything with cooking thnks sir
Ranveer... Kadhi Pakoda I love it... Kadhi without kadipatta, methi... Of course some doubts.. but..I loved the part of history about Pakoda.. thanks loadsss.. me a South Indian married to Assamese love Rajasthani Kadi Pakoda where they use ghee for tadka.. for pakodas either methi or palak leaves and freshly chopped dhania is a must... I don't think pakodas tastes good without ajwain... And I never thought of adding tomatoes in the kadhi
Love you brar 22g . I have started to cook and amaze my family in New Zealand.... Waheguru Mehar karn tuhade te. I want to meet you in person when I am in india. Until then take care .
Surjit Kaur has taught u well .
He’s the best chef. I have tried so many recipes of him and always turn out perfect. The stories are awesome too. He takes me back to Punjab de pind. God bless.
Sir I really appreciate and enjoy your historical and geographic analysis of the dishes. As a south Indian, I can also say that khadi exists in slightly different form in usually with ground up coconut etc. in south India as well. Tamils call it "mor kuzhambu", Kannada it's "majjige huli" likewise in Andhra and Kerala as well. It makes me think this general preparation of buttermilk based savoury stew/soup a pan-Indian item.
Ranbeer beta , when I was a kid , my mother asked me to stir the kadhi while she took a bath . It’s a job of patience and love “ kadhna “ ! I am a Bihari and our pakodas are simple plain pakodas ( soft as cotton ) and simple tadka with jeera and red chillies . No masala . We are Rajputs and descent is from Rajasthan . The story and history behind the nomenclature “ kadhi “ and Indus Valley regionalism of the cuisine is interesting . Thx 👏👍
Love how he gives us a little bit of a history lesson! For a South Indian like me, this channel is a blessing!!
His history is horrible
Aapne methi nhi Dali sir methi ke bina test accha nhi aata khadi ka
Dear Ranveer sir, I love it when you say “ranveer ne bataya nahi” 🙃
Aapki recipes toh achchi hai hi but your personality is too good.
And 🤩 you have so much knowledge
Hello Stuti
Kadi is very easy to prepare but proportions of ingredients play major role. We use some kasuri methi in kadi, first time found tomato in it. 😊
canny hota hai aise bhi
Exactly same here for tomatos
Onion tomato only in Panjabi kadhi.
Mujhe to kadi mai tomato flavour bekar lagta hai
Hmare yha tomato use nhi hota kadi mai
I really never understand why tomatoes
Yes.
The best channel.
Ranveer not only cooks but best is he tell facts and historical backgrond as well.
I have got to know so much information about different cultures and food.
Thank you Ranveer :)
I just like how he speaks ! Very entertaining and his recipes are quite amazing!.. I’m not indian but Pakistani but I feel it’s important to appreciate different cultures and learn from them .
I learned this onion trick on ears when used to peel 50kg 0nion sack 😁😁 in my training time, I Can never forget that time 😍😍, Thank you Sir for your guidance very Impressive
Wow...somehow I am co-relating you with Jamie Oliver.
No nonsense .... strictly food and the passion for cooking....loved it
The thing I like the most is all your research on the socio-cultural background of the recepies.....in addition to the recepies the information about them is really awesome
I made cabbage pakora same using your method, added only Ginger, no onion no garlic.... 2nd time I added cabbage grated in tadka also... Thank you so much for your kindness and happiness and real recipe we get.
You are so down to earth that everyone can connect with you no attitude
What makes your recipes even better is the "tadka" of food history. In awe!
Your videos are addictive Ranveer,! Being a
PUNJABI and having grown up on this food , I realize how our families had their own personal tweaks fo4 these classical recipes:😊👍
I had tried like 6-7 recipes.. and all of it turned out to be exactly how it makes us feel through his words through history ..

you in the north call it khadi and jn the south, there are two variants.
It is prepared with coconut and roasted chana paste called mor kuzhambu and preparation with besan called mor ventha sar. Mor means buttermilk.
Hence it is not limited to delta or north, it goes all the way to south
