I got a DPMS in a group buy with my unit while deployed to Afghanistan in 2012. They even laser engraved our units logo and OEF 12-13. Awesome rifle and have never had a jam.
This is so awesome! My first AR is a LR-308 I bought it in late 2007, it still runs just as good as the day I bought it. I’m so glad to hear that PSA has revived this brand! Keep up the good work PSA, you guys are awesome!
FYI Anderson has a slightly different configuration for the lower receiver that requires you to mill approximately .035 off for the charging handle to clear when pairing with a P10 GEN3 upper.
I remember when Remmy bought them out and Billy was front man. He was talking to Yeager about all the improvements to the AR10s. I remember thinking that it brings them light years ahead of the 80s and 90s when we all said DPMS stands for "Don't Purchase My Sh*t," or "Didn't Pass Milspec." Late 80's early 90's I considered them to be marginally better than Olympic Arms here in WA. I don't know how many Olys I picked up and either the ejection port cover was stuck locking the gun up or you could barely pull the bolt back because it was dragging on everything inside the receiver. I picked up an OA-93 one time and the bolt handle was so wobbly that you couldnt cycle the action manually. It would get all bound up in the channel. No way was that thing reliable. I asked the dealer how he could in good faith try to sell somebody that junk? DPMS was like 2 points higher on the scale at the time. I hope PSA gets a successful working product out in the wild. I have several PSA Ars and AKs and they all run flawlessly. Great stuff.
a Panther was the third AR I've owned in the past, nice rifle. I like to know is there a difference in the parts like the original panthers did not chrome lined, are these new panthers chrome lined?
Just got my Poormetto Classic M4 shitstick. I will admit. For the price and quality, it was a great deal. Will make a nice m4a1 clone. With EWG on the sear and an adjustment trigger grip screw, the trigger pull is nice and crisp. Once I get a KAC RAS, the only disappointment was the upper not having the T marks.
Nostalgia doesn't shoot good groups. I certainly appreciate another company pumping out solid stuff. Most importantly the small frame needs to be fix, produced, and pumped out in numbers nobody can fathom.
My first AR was DPMS I got it back then for$500.00 dollars. I Still have it and it shoots just as well and in some cases better than my High Dollar rifles.
hey, huge fan of PSA here. all of my firearms and accessories have come from PSA. i look for to the X57. and this is a shot in the dark but, It would be my dream if PSA could make the SVT-40 ( 1940-1944 Soviet Russian semi-auto 7.62x54R.)
Love PSA and everything you guys do, but some feedback for the host. You gotta let your guests do the talking. They are the feature, not just a sounding board for the host.
Been wanting a Kitty Kat since I saw one in the movie Miami Vice (2006) at the shootout at the end of the movie being fired by one of the bad guys kneeling next to a SUV...
I really have been looking at shotguns, if you make a V3 Tac-13 or beretta 1301 clone that would be cool. if a 870 or 590 clone ideally the reciver should be compatible with parts.
I really would love to come work For PSA part time. But haveing a Disability PSA most likely would not have a position for someone with a disability. God bless PSA... 😊
For the love of God please stop with the glock pistol clones how about something new this just seems like a easy way to just make money instead of trying to invent something better the a glock

My very first stripped lower and AR was DPMS. Still got it. Welcome back!
🇺🇸
🔥
Keep up the great work, guys! Y'all are killing it with these behind the scenes videos.
Thanks for watching and glad you liked it!
DPMS did very very good work. No experience with them now but I have great appreciation for their old stuff.
They are still doing great work!
Miss you guys in MN
PSA is doing awesome! Crazy that it bought dpms!!
I love how psa is always expanding
My DPMS is till running good. I’m going to mod it
We need a banner and some marketing gear over here!

That's no joke about the emails 😂...

Interesting! The revamped models are going to be great😁
Dpms was my first AR. Love them.
That’s awesome! Thanks for watching😁
Is the recon enhanced tactical carbine going to make a comeback as well? I have an original and would love another one if they are as reliable
That’d be cool!
We are working on it and will hopefully add that to the G2 platform once we release back out into the wild.
You got me, first ar was a dpms.
8 years old now. Modded to oblivion

Love that you resurrected DPMS. Hate that the current large frame stuff isn’t compatible with my legacy DPMS LR308.
The LR-308 is coming soon and they will be backwards compatible with your rifle.
@@smithpj007 so you’re saying DPMS will be making two patterns of receivers?

@PSA the x5.7 mags should be able to fit in the rock 5.7
They said they would
I didn't realize PSA bought DPMS, interesting. Is it also true PSA bought DDI AK brand as well?
37/40mm launches with optional NFA barrel when!?

Awesome !!
Thanks for watching!
Finished the video not sure if i missed it but am curious to know are DPMS rifles all going to be built on the same lines as PSA's rifles? Thanks
I think they are still operating the DPMS facility in Minnesota?
We build DPMS in the same facility but have a separate manufacturing line and process.
@@smithpj007 thanks 👍

MM77 Approved 👍🏼 👍🏼
Legend!
Hi PSA, can you make an 8.6 BLK JAKL? Thanks!
Would DPMS bring a R-10 style rifle back to the market along with the G2?
How did you guys acquire that AK company (DD?) around 10 years ago . That might be an interesting story
Do you plan to sell dpms lowers on the psa website?
Nevermind, the video answered lol. I'll get my ffl to order a lower.

Indeed
Any timeline on the GII .308?
As soon as possible!
My father gave me my first DPMS. Still my only one, but was lost today in a boating accident 😢
Sorry to hear that!
Got an old GII 20" hunter in 308. Hope the new one is parts compatible, would love a new barrel and spare parts
The new GII uppers/lowers/parts will be backwards compatible
Right
So Panther Pistol = Dagger with DPMS logo?
That’s what I’m guessing. It makes the most sense. Curious what they’re going to do to differentiate it. Probably different slide design.
Mp7 in 9mm please

@@PalmettoStateArmoryVideos Still wanting a G26 clone. Also, maybe the dagger in .40, so we can use conversions.
