Tox Box is actually from Super Mario 64. Although seemingly being made of metal in 64, it is still the same enemy. You also forgot Bowser's Inside story 3DS's sniffle thwomp, and both versions of BIS also have a thwomp bone thing in the pump works.
The blue thwomp from 64 is way better than the dumb spiky one. Its cube shape is better suited for 3d level design, the spiky ones are like cereal box shaped which makes them only suitable for 2d.
That video was exclusive to all the Whomp enemies. Now I wanted to take a look at the whole Thwomp & Whomp family with a focus on all their different variations.

If you go to the Sunset Express and get on the train, then when you arrive at Starlight Cape there’ll be a Thwomp in the background, you can see it in the shadows and hear it pounding to the ground.
