    I'm being 100% serious here. Until CC, I literally couldn't have named any wnba player. Ever. I had never even heard of CC until late in her last college season. Couldn't have cared less about either the wnba or even the nba. But I will say I'd pay to see CC play if I could, and it seems there are quite a lot of people like me. CC has revolutionized their sport and anyone who is making money off of riding her coat tails should be grateful for that

    Sure CC is a once in a generation player, but she's also a great team mate who elevates her whole team when she's on the court. She also humble, with a great attitude too, something all the other jealous WNBA superstars should learn from. Who wants to go watch whiney, bitchy, and self centered superstars on teams that sometimes play dirty - especially towards their true MVP CC, just because they're not class acts? Gee, maybe no one? No, CC is special and a delight to watch!

    I have watched less than a single game's worth of WNBA television coverage over the past 15 years. I believe that I have looked at limited parts of 6 different WNBA games in total. Perhaps a grand total of maybe 20 minutes of WNBA women's basketball.
    The level of play was so poor in three of those games, truly not much better than a mediocre high school boy's team, that I switched channels because I just couldn't stand to watch another nanoseconds worth of such atrocious basketball. The other three games were much better, but the play was so *BORING* that I quit watching after 4-5 minutes.
    Caitlin Clark's play is on a par with that of the best point guards and forwards of the NBA over the past 50 years.
    It's no exaggeration to say that Clark is revolutionizing professional women's basketball in the exact same fashion that Larry Bird and Magic Johnson did in their era, that Michael Jordan did in his era, and that Steph Curry has done in his era.
    *She's bringing in larger attendance figures across the *entire WNBA;* she's bringing exponentially greater television and online viewership which means that *advertising revenues for all WNBA teams will rise* as the revenues of the sponsors increases as a result of the increased viewership; she's proved *CONCLUSIVELY* that she's *NOT* all hype and little to no action; she's already signed one of the most lucrative endorsement deals that any female professional athlete in any sport has ever signed; she's going to increase the possibilities for *ALL* WNBA players across the board, from part-time journeymen bench players to the biggest stars, to earn higher salaries by being able to negotiate bigger contracts because the teams will be making more money, and thus be able to afford to pay their players more; *AND MOST IMPORTANTLY, * Clark's giving the WNBA its *FIRST* as well as its *BEST* chance to become a financially independent professional women's basketball sports league that *DOESN'T* require the NBA to support them. Which the NBA has done over the past 28 years.

    Didn't start watching the W until CC showed up. Had tuned in to the league in the past but found the competition and talent lacking...I've seen better games and talent in High School teams. Caitlin has raised the level and forced others to step up their game. Still...seeing players constantly missing layup after layup and free throw after free through isn't exactly filling seats or garnering viewers. BUT when CC shows up, she fills seats and brings viewers!

  •  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

  • @musicluvr70
    @musicluvr70 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

    No, Reese is not a great player. She may be slightly better than average, but she hasn't shown anything to even give her that accolade. She gets a few more rebounds per game than most players, but many are from her own missed shots standing under the basket. Her PPG are pitiful, her assists too. She ranks near the top with her makeup, though.

First started women's basketball back when Lobo was at UCONN . But now, I haven't missed a minute of Indiana's games and when they aren't playing, I have whatever other games are on either on the computer , the tv or both if there are several games on to learn more about Indiana's opponents .
