      What? Subscribe to a channel that promotes and supports a white player in a league of mostly black women in a sport that is traditionally/mostly black athletes? Sounds like racism - supporting a mediocre player just because she’s white? Definitely racism! Just ask any black player in the league- they’ll tell ya!

    You can't hit someone in the eye hard enough to blacken the eye and not know it. Miss Carrington, the people's court finds you guilty of perjury. You're also guilty of assault and battery on the defendant, Caitlin Clark. You will serve time with all the rest of the abusers of Miss Clark this basketball season.
    Edit: Will never happen.

    Imagine if you broke 62 records; got your team to the playoffs (last time 2016), all the no calls, and Nike gaslighting because A’ja wants attention first, selling out all arenas then NOT CHOSEN AS MVP because she didn’t fit WNBA NARRATIVE.

    Can't blame her if she does leave. Nobody signs up to be assaulted at their job but mma and boxers.
    The fact that 17% of the personal fouls in the league (that were called) were committed against Clarke speaks volumes because I'm positive that at least as many were not called by the piss poor refs.

  • @RutlandRick
    @RutlandRick หลายเดือนก่อน +22

    It would be easy enough to outlaw weaponized fingernails. Just do it, and make the referees do a safety check before starting each game. My brother had to do this in the previous century for junior high soccer players to keep the girls from wearing pierced ear jewelry. It was considered dangerous for them to wear items that could be driven into their skulls when heading a ball. Knives, guns, brass knuckles, etc, were all prohibited on the field.

    The day that the WNBA *finally* has to address this issue and hold people to account will be one to behold… and will no doubt come way too late.
    And the toxic players like the one who blatantly tried to blind her will do everything in their power to prevent that from happening.
    I can see her trying to claim that holding her to account would be racism.

    • @Pahoe77
      @Pahoe77 หลายเดือนก่อน

      That day won't come soon. The wnba has yet to make a profit, in 28 years. As long as they're subsidized, ( which is ironically amusing - a group of feminists supported by a male league), they'll stay the same. Only if they have to be accountable by their own merits...or lack thereof, will it fold.

    • @donghavet1
      @donghavet1 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      That eye poke caused her vision to be impared, I once had that done to me and and though it seemed to me okay well my aim for touching things etc was not the same for at least a day, so if you want to win a game make sure you lessen their vision. so they are not that accurate though they think they are. Really after that they should have at the least evicted her from the game.

  • @nickclenny1663
    @nickclenny1663 หลายเดือนก่อน +24

    They are only trying to seriously hurt the white players, Carter came down on a white girl with her elbow targeting the other girls collar bone Carrington had sharp long nails and she directed her nails on Clark's eye you can see plain as day in slow motion that she misses the ball and redirected her fingers down and into Clark's eye, all refs in that game needs to be held accountable and fired they didn't even stop the game to make sure Clark's eye wasn't rolling around on the court or if she was bleeding

    @nickclenny1663 หลายเดือนก่อน +12

    She was targeted by Reese Carter and deshields and Carrington all season and then Thomas starts and in her last game finally a white girl target's her why because she was threatened to do it or be benched because all season four colored players targeted Clark and everyone noticed and so did the coaches and someone threatened one white girl to target Clark why to make it look like it wasn't racist

    Let’s not sing ENGLEBERTS praises for anything! Shes done more to distract, discredit or otherwise defeat CC at every turn. That quote of “reality is coming” put a bullseye on the back of one of her players and the league HAS NONE NOTHING! I’m sorry, you could spend a month trying to convince me that some of those “no calls” fouls weren’t deliberate and I still wouldn’t believe you. I’ve been a fan of basketball for 50 years and can honestly say these were among the worst “no calls” I’ve ever seen. ENGLEBERT needed to step in and say enough and all her player got was silence. You can’t try and blind a player by accident or deliberate and not get called for a foul! And nothing happened!!! Where’s her leadership?

    The WNBA is the worst organization i have ever seen! Connecticut sent 4 different women after Clark to get her out of the game! Then Thomas comes out telling lies about her fans! No proof, no receipts, didn't happen! Nobody knows what Thomas looks like, so how could they be harassing her? She is lying and i know she was one of the four that tried to hurt Clark and the coach should show some shame

    • @Ron-zl5cr
      @Ron-zl5cr หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Absolutely criminal...the worst possible PR for the league. A deliberate gouge in the eye is immediate lifetime suspension!!!!!!WNBA is responsible and a complete investigation should happen now. And for outrightly lying about the incident hopefully you
      experience Karma as a bitch. Thugs deserve everything they get. I hope when things settle thugs can look for new opportunities.
      CC's coaches and teammates What are doing standing/sitting watching your teams' best player take flagrants, poked, steamrolled, slapped in the face. You should be ashamed. Coach!!!! If the refs repeatedly allow this goon show, teach your players a basic basketball fundamental. DEFEND AND PROTECT YOUR TEAM MATE. Yes that means you play as tough as they are or whatever the three blind mice allow.
      I'm getting a letter written to Commissioner Silver to clean up the embarrassment bush league that the NBA is funding. I hope Engbrecht gets fired first. WOW

    Keep those Clark jerseys. This looks like the only year they will be available. Clark was the only real reason to watch. When I watch
    old Larry Bird film and then watch Clark. It's unbelievable. Clark has the same style and touch. Clark actually made the WNBA appear
    professional. I tried to watch the WNBA a while back and just couldn't do it. It was ugly basketball. The players would just throw the
    ball in the general direction of the basket.
    Clark has a precision to her game that I don't see from anyone else. Clark is very calculated in how she sets up her shots. I don't
    see this from any other player in this league. Clark is a "one of". No one else like her.

    • @JB-ij9je
      @JB-ij9je หลายเดือนก่อน

      @axlejohnson9156
      You're right on with the comparison to Larry Bird. He didn't fall for any of the racism bulls**t, he was there to play ball and they couldn't even pigeonhole him as a shooter, cuz he did EVERYTHING. Clark is the same way. People, all people, white, black, women, men, boys, girls, came to watch her cuz she was an unbelievably talented shining star. Even NBA super stars couldn't help but take notice. And for the WNBA and even Nike to treat her like a common, ordinary nobody, to smooth the ruffled feathers of a handful of jealous, racist lesbians, is stupidity of the highest order. She didn't ask for special treatment, just fair treatment and decent referees. They treated Britney Griner like royalty, when she's actually mediocre, at best and come to find out, she's really a cheating MAN. American pro-sports is owned by f**ked up, evil corporations, that have sick agendas to push. I hope she does better in Europe, and they treat her as an awesome talent and an honorable human being should be treated...with respect, admiration and maybe a little gratitude that she graced them with her phenomenal presence. FWNBA!

    I'm sorry, but this commentary sounded ridiculous. If someone tried to maim an opposing player in a major league baseball game, there would be a bench clearing battle. (ramming a fingernail into an eyeball could cause lifelong loss of vision) Condemnation would flood in from all corners of the league. We heard crickets chirping from the women in this league...even her teammates seem suspiciously quiet. I am forced to conclude that the league is giving the players exactly the kind of working conditions that they want. It's hard to impose change from the top down, so I don't see any big changes being well received.

    • @JB-ij9je
      @JB-ij9je หลายเดือนก่อน

      @53kenner:
      Hell, even the brutal UFC disqualifies fighters for intentional eye pokes and Carrington's was clearly intentional, in the replay. She wasn't even looking at the ball, but staring directly at Clark's face the whole time! The refs are clearly biased, as well. Screw the WNBA. Nobody cared about them before Caitlin, nobody will care about them, when and if she leaves. I hope she does. She's too good for the WNBA, ungrateful, self-centered, entitled, delusional, racist whiners. They don't deserve chartered flights. They belong in cargo, IMO.

    What is the WNBA? Who runs it? How do they vote? Are they being supervised by an independant authority?

    I decided for 1st time since league started, yes I'm that old, to check out wnba...let's be clear, b3cause of CC. I will never watch another minute of this league. Pure racism and jealousy on a level I never thought I'd see again. It's just embarrassing period.

    Suspending some players, firing some referees and for sure demand the commissioner who is part owner of the WNBA not be allowed the Commissioner job due to a conflict of interest. Any and I mean any mention on social media of any other players race whatever the race be banned from playing Ball for the entire season and a second offense complete removal from the WNBA.

    The rest of the teams need to play as hard as Catlin. That will help.

    What needs to be done in the WNBA? The leadership on the top need to be men not women, who are the weaker sex and do not stand up against the press, fans, players and haters etc. We have seen the same issues with Mayors telling police to stand down and if Kamala is elected, you will see a total collapse and what that will entail is frightening to even think about.

    The owners are remiss in their management of their investments, the league administration needs to be canned and replaced with competent managers who have a plan and purpose and team management needs significant changes. Without these suggestions, the league will go bankrupt. It will be "bye, bye the future is gone!"

    I will say it. It reverse racism by black WNBA players against a white WNBA player fueled by the medial, coaches, referees, and yes, former black players. Racist catcalls can be heard on the court during the game.
    All of you black WNBA have destroyed the WNBA out of petite jealousy because a white player is getting more attention and endorsements. Admit it, Caitlin Clark is better than most of the black player.
    Instead of stepping up your own game, you want to teardown, even injury Caitlin Clark. I (We) will no longer watch the WNBA. My wife has sold our season tickets.

    What is going to happen? TV contract gone, attendance drops lower than the pre-Clark era. WNBA deep financial issues. Backers back off support. This may be an end to the most racist , whining group of people. Have a good time flipping patties.

    Won't have to imagine to much. Look what it was before CC started playing. Add in more are aware of the type of thugs who make up the league. & POOF!! Back to riding coach to games, or perhaps Greyhound. Back to losing $10 million/year, on average.
