I've never watched a WNBA game in my life. Only NBA, but I'd rekon this situation is because Clark is a humble mature athlete that's not asking for what shes getting, while Carrington is more of a show-off, thuggish immature athlete who appears to damn near beg for attention. If I had a daughter into hoop, I'd be sure to emphasize these differences, so she strives to have a more appealing character for onlookers and herself. Michael Jordan is a great example of this. He's by far the best hooper ever, but he stayed humble and dedicated to the task at hand. The accolades and limelight came on its own.
