Both Shawn and Justin are Canadian (fun fact) I have met Shawn (worked on a video) and he's the real deal in terms of musician and writer. He does have a unique quality to his vocals. You guys should check out more of his music. Justin's big exposure came when he was very young and did the Ellen show. From that point on, much like many young talented kids, he got swallowed up by the machine of the music business and went through a lot in the glare of the public eye. Each of those guys have had a different journey but similar in some ways of crazy massive fan following. The lyrics in this song speak to that.
