#tororecycler #toro #briggsandstratton This push mower is leaking gas out of the carburetor, and flooding out the engine. Lets see what the issue is and fix it.
Thank you. Yes I have had a couple machines lately that someone has tried to fix and just made more problems to fix. I’m just glad it running good after just a couple gaskets.
Yes they sell quickly around here. People love them and they have a good reputation. I have the bag and this unit is in excellent condition to be 11 years old. Thank you very much!!
Good job Alex, its always fun straightening up someone elses trys at it. You should get a nice return on this one. She cranked first pull, it doesn't get any better bud. 🙂👍
I think what happened was someone tried to clean out the carb before and used compressed air. Blew the seat loose and it got smashed up by the needle. At least it was an easy fix and should be a great mower for someone. Thank you as always John 💪🇺🇸
That’s for sure on the pricing. Everything is going up. I’m going to have to figure out some numbers in my area. This is a nice mower for sure and I have the bag for it. Should sell for a really good price.
Nice easy fix on that Toro Alex. I never have any problems selling a Toro. The front wheels aren't worn out either. Ive had some with bald wheels and I always replace them because im going to get good money for it. After market drive wheels are $26 dollars a pair. I sell the FWD Toros for $150 And the RWD i sell for $185 if they have the personal pace handle system. You have a nice mower there!👍🇺🇸🎥 Roger
These sell like hot cakes here. I’ve got the bag for it as well so it should make a good turn around since I have about $15 invested in it. Thank you as always, and hope things are good your way Roger 😎🇺🇸
Thank you very much. Yes it was totally destroyed. At least with a carb clean and a new seat this toro is back running great again. Thank you for stopping by :)
Looks like an awesome day in your part of the world, Alex! Anxiously awaiting that kind of weather here too! Amazing how much gum and crap collects in those bowls. i don't think i have ever seen the orange seal gaskets. Are there different sizes to the needle seats, or all pretty much the same?
I hope it warms up your way quickly. I was getting very itchy for spring to get here. I had a seat already in my parts stash, and the o ring for the bowl was something else I had in a parts bin. Just ended up being the right size to fit it.
@@freedommowers420 it is. Been working on my brother in law tractor he bought and has me fixing it up for him almost done with it so I can continue with my ongoing projects lol 😆
I've got a torro recycler 22 190cc 6.o. I changed the carbonator, but when it runs for about 30 minutes and stops from clogging with weeds, it has to sit for about 30 minutes to start again. I'm guessing the mower is running rich. How do I adjust the carbonator?
I really needed to know how to seat the needle correctly. I got a new carb for my neighbors mower and when I put it on it was dumping gasoline out faster than the one you're working on. You completely skipped the only part of the process I needed to know. Thanks for taking the time to make the video but it was not helpful for me.
I’m sorry it didn’t show what you were looking for. If you replace the needle and seat it’s automatically set at the correct height. It sounds like your needle is just not sealing.
Nice video, MissouriOldTimer sent me over, I subscribed with all the bells and whistles, I have a question for you, my Brother in law have a 17.5hp Briggs MTD lawn tractor, a valve top broke off and beat the top of the piston, he replaced the valve, set every thing, now the engine blow head gasket all the way and oil and smoke pushed out the breather pipe and carb, the timing is good etc, what is your first thought when you read this
Well it could possibly be the valve seal. If the other valve took damage and he didn’t change it out it would have blow by with oil. Also if it is the head gasket that blew, it could be a warped head. It’s best to lightly sand the head on a flat surface when putting it back together.
Because people who sell lawnmower sometimes buy these small parts in bulk for cheap so they don’t have to buy a new carb and it’s faster than waiting a few days
Great job on the carb. I always dread seeing that someone has had a go before but I like the way you just dive in
Thank you. Yes I have had a couple machines lately that someone has tried to fix and just made more problems to fix. I’m just glad it running good after just a couple gaskets.
Love those Toros they make a great sell also, amazing the things that be in them carburetor's. Good fix Alex💯💪🏽
They are great mowers. I used one for a while for personal use. Should be a great mower for the next owner. Thank you for the support as always 🤘🤘
Great job Alex! Best part about the Toros is that they are resale red, I’ve sold them in a day after a wash n wax lol

Nice job buddy. First pull starts are my favorite!
Thank you so much. Glad it was such a easy fix. I bought this mower for $15!! I expected it to have some serious issues.
those cheap carbs gum up all the time Great repair my friend.
Yes they do. Easiest thing is a carb replacement for sure. I really appreciate the support 🤘🤘😎
Great job done Freedom Mowers, the needle seat was in a bit of a mess
Thank you very much. Yes it was totally destroyed. At least with a carb clean and a new seat this toro is back running great again. Thank you for stopping by :)
How's she goin'? Good find on that float valve Alex!! That carb was in rough shape eh!! But once cleaned up it's a good mower now. Take care!!
It’s amazing how much crud was in there. At least it was just the bowl seal and a new needle seat. I hope things are good your way 😎

Well sorted buddy, great vid
Thank you very much. I’m glad to have this nice machine running again. 🤘
Needed and seat need to be cleaned up and hopefully it will be able to not flood the crank Case with gas 👍
Yessir. I’ve been checking it the last two days and seems to be all good to go now. Thank you as always!!
@@freedommowers420 anytime young man 😎 I just got a Husqvarna backpack blower will do a short video of it so be on the lookout for it

Most of these smaller carbs don’t have any adjustment. They need to be completely clean to run properly.

@@jankotze1959 your welcome. Hopefully that helps.
Any reason to not just replace the entire carburetor? They are like $10 on Amazon.

Good Job
Thank you 🙏.
what if the bottom screw does not come off? The screw is in very tight
I would try soaking it down with some penetrating spray.

Thank You
I’m thinking the red rubber seat is bad , carb full of trash and everything is stopped up
Where do I get the o ring kit from
Question where can I find a bag for this mower
Your best bet would probably be the marketplace or eBay.
I have a brand new bag that I dont use, but I am not sure if it will fit yours.@@freedommowers420
