Literally the only issue is the impact when fighting enemies. The audio needs to be more in your face and the enemies need to react more to being hit other than that this looks really dope
But It looks and sounds way better than Lost Soul Aside.
It be kinda rad to hear choir with dub for its music, kinda like if Dark Souls Boss Music had a baby with MGR chord progressions.

The rapture state gives me strong Claymore vibes, wouldn't be surprised if the game is influenced by it. Also combat doesn't look bad but not fluid. Keeping an eye on this one.

The creators said they’re huge fans of both and they took heavy inspirations from both when making the game. Just with that alone I’m going to support them.

Looks like they actually thought about the gameplay and relationship between the sisters and their roles to bring meaningful dynamic combat. Love the artstyle and design. Looking forward to this one.

I'm getting Berserk, Devil May Cry, and Lords of Shadow vibes from this one, definitely not a bad thing. Going to love to see a modern action game not be another soulsclone.

Lacks impact on hit and the enemies are very stiff. Would be great if the enemies tried hitting you rather than stand there. Seems like there waiting to get hit. Otherxise seems like cool ideas displayed.
My thoughts as well, looks nice but your attacks dont seem to have any real punch to them.

Yes enemy reaction is very important. This is a small developer but still this can make or break combat.
Yea I'd like more satisfying enemy reactions to getting hit, rather than them kind of freezing/vibrating. And fully agreed, they kinda just stand there waiting their turn to get hit, other than that it's really interesting and unique
I’m happy how the developers were open about how they inspired this game from berserk and claymore hopefully one day they get shot at doing an actual berserk game it would be so cool if that happens one day 😢

The sound is a little Off on the impact. It sounds like the enemy is blocking every attack and it’s not very satisfying if that makes sense. Other than that I’m on board!
Italian game studios are really coming into their own in the recent years, I'll be sure to try this one out.

The art direction is superb. My only observation is that the combat lacks "weight". Your character wields a massive sword that feels likes nothing when you hit the enemies. Is just a smash buttons festival.

but this time it is a hard core nun, that it is the female version of GUTS in berserk
She looks like Guts from Berserk, (makes sense how they got inspired by it) but female version. And the combat looks like from DmC(Reboot)
more closer to claymore, armor looks like berserk but the lady and her transformation and the story is way closer to claymore . to be expected as both berserk and claymore was inspirations for the game
I'm really liking Briar's design, looks like it takes heavy inspiration from Gut's design from Beserk, with the greatsword, black armour and even down to the eyepatch on the right eye. Nice to see Beserk getting the recognition it deserves in western media

This looks absolutely fun to play at 2:02 you can do pause combos which is when you wait a second then press other buttons to do different moves. In the Devil may cry reboot your sword will flash when your pause was successful just like it is here.
In Horizon forbidden west Alloys spear tip flashes when you have paused at the right moment to do moves also
Character Action Games are probably my favourite genre of video game, so I'm hella excited to play this.

@@96lol820 He probably reffers to a stamina bar that limits the ammount of actions and forces you to wait for a recharge, combined with slow and unresponsive attacks that lock you in long animations.

Given how berserk inspired her design an main weapon are, Id expect more of that massive impact and blood from her combat. Not sparks and flash, needs more polish but looks like it has potential

This looks amazing and really promising, my only issue is the shoulder pad, not the design but size is a bit big. And the starting animation for Rapture was lacking initially but amazing afterwards.
This reminds me so much of Knights Contract, where one is the Muscle and the other is the Magic Cannon.
Instead of an Immortal Knight (Heinrich) escorting a delicate Witch (Gretchen), they cut out the Escort Mission funk by making the Witch (Lute) incorporeal, and just giving the health bar to the Knight (Briar) anyway.
The monsters and cutscenes look so beautiful too.
It's not so "Anime" in look, and is in fact made by an Italian Studio!

With this and Ultra Age, it’s nice to see more Devil May Cry-like games being made.

This game is definitely inspired by Nier. Switching the camera from 2D to 3D. Ill definitely keep an eye on this game

Why does it have the feel of astral chain/scarlet nexus? Lute's inclusion, the lock-on target, the interface for changing weapons, the combat, some elements of the sound design, and even the character design.

Feedback: Its kinda hard to see the main character, it blends with the background since everything is mostly grey or black and the sister is big and blue/green and stays in the back of the controlled character. If it was smaller or more up to the right, like the drones in Nier Automata it would help this a lot.
