Forsaken (Secondary Write Winner)

‘Forsaken’ is a poem that we penned which we have turned into a short film. The poem depicts the neglect that one faces in the usual chronological order of their life. It paints the hardships that people in different age groups encounter when they have been abandoned and neglected by people in society, and maybe even their loved ones.
In our present day world, one of the biggest problems is being ostracized by others. Every second, there are children who are deserted by their parents. In school, students may be left out by the people around them and during their retirement days, elderly get forsaken by their loved ones.
We hope this poem will reach out to others who feel the same way and brings awareness to anyone who watches it and influence everyone to bring about positive change.
