  • Gracie, a preschool teacher, leads a large group activity around the storybook “Harry the Dirty Dog.” In this session, she helps the preschoolers build phonological awareness, alphabet knowledge, and their understanding of concepts of print - in what the Cox Campus calls “PAC Time.”
This activity supports literacy development by coaching the children on uppercase and lowercase letters, as well as reading left to right and top to bottom.
For more children’s literacy resources, visit www.coxcampus.org. Every child deserves the chance to decide their own future. Strategies from the Cox Campus will transform your classroom and how you interact with children, creating a solid foundation for language development and learning.

Kudos for the Video clip! Forgive me for the intrusion, I would love your initial thoughts. Have you ever tried - Riysaballer Salient Recognition (Have a quick look on google can't remember the place now)? It is a good one of a kind guide for teaching your child to read without the headache. Ive heard some super things about it and my buddy after many years got excellent results with it.
