I always thought they should reverse the suede pattern on the toe for the Numeric line so it would be more protective for kickflips but I get they are doing for the OG New Balance look
I have been saying this as well. The Asymmetrical toe design that is so engrained in NB heritage. I believe was a way to protect the big toe, for the running shoes. But it's a perfect design to make their skate shoes more durable, if they would just switch that Asymmetrical toe from the inside to the outside of the toe box. It would move the stitches up away from the griptape. And give extra material to wear threw. It would just make more sense to be reversed on Numeric Shoes.
@@jarredhewitt2361 exactly! I’ve been thinking that for a long time. Im sure they have thought about it, wonder why they haven’t tried it out yet. I did not know about the big toe thing, thanks for the info.
@@michaelnusbaum the big toe thing is just a guess on my part. And as to why they haven't tried it out yet... My guess there would be: because it's a visual representation of NB heritage the way it is. So they would be reluctant to change it for that reason. Again just a guess.
Great video 🎉🎉🎉, New Balance does it again. These remindl me of an old school classic reebook/fila shoe, but funky! Those are affordable, clean and comfy. Thanks joe
oh its super comfortable. its pretty much a direct iteration of the original non-skate 600i but has modern impact support and phantom fit. so it was comfortable back in the day.... and now its even better.
TTS or size up/down? I'm all over the place with sizes in NB# - 10.5 in both Tiagos, 10 255s, 9.5 in 440s, none of the foys feel right...-it's between these and the 480s...it's only NB #...10 in Vans/Nike/Adidas (except Tyshawns, 10.5)/DC, Emerica, etc.
man shoes fit feet so differently. I dont think I have ever had a pair of 255s. they arent as snug as the tiago. they fit similar to the 480. a little tighter than the 440... but not tight
the 600 might actually be more comfortable but I went 480 high myself just because I like the vibe better. Tom Knox is a beast. that is a tough decision haha
i ended up getting the tom knox 600s but i had to return them the back heel dug into my calves so bad! didnt see anyone else mention this problem so idk if it was just me. im a woman with small feet so it could just be the smaller models were not proportioned as well im trying on the ishod wair air maxes next tho! @@DavidBluetile
Are they narrow or would someone with a wide foot be comfortable in these? Have always had trouble finding shoes that fit good width wise until I tried the Tyshawns and now I’m scared to try something new
I feel like the Tyshawn’s fit pretty tight until they recently changed the fit. So yeah, I agree Tyshawn‘s in the last six or eight months fit a little better than they used to. It’s hard to say, but I don’t feel like this Tom Knox fits narrow, but I wouldn’t say it’s exceptionally wide either. If the Tyshawn fits you, I think the Tom Knox definitely will.
It fits pretty snug. Pretty tight at first. If you wanted a wide shoe, nb 306 Jamie Foys have hella space in the toe box. I have a pair and they’re fantastic for that
@@Jbauguess11the 22 nb# is the widest fit I think. or even the 272... but I def dont feel like the Knox is snug. I feel like all these videos just prove you gotta try shoes on yourself. Feet are so wildly different.
@@Jbauguess11they had a really nice blue and gum colorway of the Foys on sale for $45 at the local shop but when they went to the back to get the other shoe and box they realized they only had the left shoe and not the right 😐 hoping to find some on sale soon
My only question is...which one? They both look great!! Those gum soles remind me of those old school Reeboks that I can think of right now. I hate the potato outting of shoes too. NB has been killin' it. All the best! Gabby from DC
im just waiting for the day where bluetile gets an sb dunk. nike has to make it happen hopefully its blue with a tile pattern like that croc skin they used on the supreme sbs 😂.
In my opinion it’s def better than the 288. We had some troubles with the 288 blowing out on the side. That was the only new balance we ever had construction issues with.

I totally agree!
Not a skateboarder but green and white colorway are 🔥. Is it comfortable to wear casually everyday

I wonder what 90s silhouette they're referring to?. To me this looks like a 1010 and 288 lovechild.
Love both models so this one should be good!!
Looks nothing like a 1010 😂 same materials maybe but looks no
i saw a pair of 440s and cariumas at marshalls today while i was working
Been looking forward to this one, HYPED

I think TTS… I kinda talk about that in the video.

The white and green ones look superrrr nice
do they fit like the 480s?
Slightly roomier on my foot. Feels better
What’s the fit in these ? Half size big like the 1010 or snug like an 808
Def not as tight as Tiagos
man cant decide between these and the NB Numeric 480 Highs

reebok workout plus.
Great looking shoes hope they don’t sell out so I can get a pair!! I’m still recovering from the vans rowley releases! 😅
