- This is episode 2 of my gameplay series on No Man's Land, a modded map for Farming Simulator 19 made by Alien Jim. In this episode we clear some unwanted trees, plan our farming empire, create another field, and do our first harvest!!

FYI You can cut in your fields messy with the plow, then come back with the square landscape tool and paint the edges nice and straight with clean grass. Makes setting up perfect fields easy

I've done a ton of logging. if you not looking to go full blown logger. You could use the in-game chainsaw, truck, FDR utility trailer, FDR cat d6 dozer with his forestry grinder attachment for stump removal. You can get longer trees, and you can still strap them down.
Thank you!! You definitely are going to know a lot more about logging than i do. I really appreciate it. We did do some logging in the early 20s episodes but in the future we are going to log a couple plots i want to buy and i will definitely take your advice on that.
the best plow is the ones that dont swivel and the ones that are closer to the tractor. i always use them to create my fields. also i love how all tutorials he talks about the people who dont have access to other mods like the console players like me.
Love the map. Awesome content. Just a tip, i always place the stump grinder on the front of my tractor and then pull the trailer when i am clearing trees. I saves time, cut, load and then grind.
Juat found you, and just got fs 19 today. Nice to play, and listen to you in the background. Your tutorials help a lot too
You can tilt the box at the end of the stump taker-outer deal too

Not sure if this was addressed in the comments or in future vidoes (since this is over a year old), but a note about forestry.
The tree will always drop the opposite direction of the side you cut, so if you want it to fall away from the field, cut on the field side.

How about a comparison video on the seed & fertilizer, ect. Buy points on the mod hub. I always used pioneer pallets, now I'm using the container seed buy point on no man. It would be something I haven't seen done yet on the other channels I follow. How do they compare price wise?? Stay safe, BLM!!

I love this map. I like the process of laying out my own farm. It has been a while since I played without seasons and a harvest already through me for a loop. Anyway, good luck with the channel and I look forward to the series.
Thank you, that is one of my favorite parts about the game, you can do whatever you want to make your farm your own, especially with mods. Haha I have done that before, played seasons for a while then went to normal gameplay and was shocked how fast ANYTHING happened.

this gameplay series is amazing so far
I hate plowing too that's why I got that cultivator works as plow mod when you mentioned it but you did make me cringe when you didn't fell those trees at the base, so much wood wasted lol also, if you have not already, you might want to download the "forest mulcher" mod as it makes getting rid of the stumps easier, really enjoying this series especially with the police stories

For some reason whenever I click on a link to any of the farming-simulator mods in the spreadsheet it says "error: mod not found". Great series by the way. A friend told me about you and I'm liking the content so far

Have you found that if the plough lines aren't straight the helper goes in the direction of the lines? I've had to go over the newly created field again to try and get the furloughs straight. I too hate ploughing with a passion.
Plowing is horrendous haha I definitely agree. Yes I have had that issue with the AI.

Hey, you mentioned somewhat late in the video you have to wait for the second growth stage of the crop before fertilizing. Why the second?
I don’t know, but the game doesn’t let you fertilize twice two early, maybe for you to not rush it too quickly
It does not necessarily have to be the second state you just cant put down two fertilizer states at the same growth stage for the crop as DeathWing mentioned
is the back of the shed there is a door? it looks like :)
It's too bad there was no lumber mill on the map when you started you get so much more money for full trees instead of chipping them up like that you would have been much better off!

I think they are talking about “super strength”. I believe that is called the heavy lifting mod.
