Darrem Charles in my opinion is the most underrated bodybuilder of all time! He wasn't the biggest but his shape and conditioning unbelievable posing is astonishing and he's 54???? He hasn't aged a bit! AMAZING!
He was as solid bb. How was he underrated tho? I consider guys like gunter and Ruhl more underrated. Just my opinion, Charles had a great lean physique but didn’t have the total wow factor. Just my opinion:
Love this Chanel. I think Phil’s at his highest now! Staying positive and still making a living doing what he loves. And, still offering the BB community very relevant insight. Just a novice but looks like this Olympia’s shaking up to be a banger ! Epic !
My eyes were drawn to Andrew more than anyone on that stage... IMO he's like Paul Dillett of today. Both guys are 6'2", both guys complete at around 290lbs. The difference is that Andrew can actually pose really well. Sky's the limit for him.
Wasn’t near as good to me. Maybe because I love Chris. Really they always have a different person on there and Chris is consistent with milos and Dennis. I would’ve loved to hear more from hany. Darrem I like but he isn’t one i realty kept up with and he was a genetic gift. Not really a exciting bb.
I myself might be old, but nothing is more off-putting then hearing if these guys think they have it bad it's nothing compared to our day. This really shouldn't come out of anyone's mouth. Your here to talk about the guys of today. Without them you have nothing to talk about. Lift them up your day is over.
So nice to see Darem! It’s been awhile and was thinking about him recently wondering if maybe he was ill because it had been awhile. Really happy to see him and hope he comes back as a regular because there is so much history about his career and what was going on at the time when he was competing. I don’t know why but I always thought he was older than me and I looked up to him and to find out today he is only one year older than me ! 😂 Blew me away !
Round table is the best. Please don’t stop Dennis. Darrem kind of boring to me but just my opinion. Milos could talk all day I can’t hear enough. He’s the best. Hilarious. Guy remembers everything to the littlest detail from 20 years ago. 😂👍🏾
you got to love milos he,s so passionate for his sport he reminds me of a great white jumping on his prey. it wouldn,t suprise me at all if he starts gearing up for that masters olympia in 2023.
No Denis, if you have a podcast like this, it's to precisely open cans of worms, not to keep them close. Fortunately Milos was there to actually have a real debate
Darren Thinks and acts like hes 20.Hes seems cocky and not a family man.Seen him once GUEST pose with his wife and he Ignored her the whole day.Was sad.
They asked him to come on show. And your assuming a lot. Sad? What’s sad is you and your comment. You SEEM like a guy stuck in some structured view of what life should be. Let him live his life. Edit: he did say he was boring so your probably taking it the wrong way especially from someone that doesn’t m know him.
Honestly on the debate about Akim and Kamal I think it’s looked at in the wrong perspective I’ll explain. Dennis says Akim has 60lbs more muscle than Kamal ok we all know why that is right ?? Kamal is a shorter ( not smaller) bodybuilder his weight of muscle is equivalent to Akim’s weight . Kamal is about as heavy as he can be because he will not be growing an extra 6inches of height anytime soon . Sounds like the elephant in the room to me is if guys are going to be judged basically on their height to weight ratio or less than rather , then maybe 212 competitors just should not be allowed to complete in open bodybuilding. When the Clauida won in the open after last year’s Olympia I think they instantly wish they would’ve just let him be second because it opened a bag of worms . A 212 or shorter bodybuilder can ALWAYS be said to be smaller when actually according to his height he is not his muscle suits his body. Just let everybody stay in their own divisions that’s my take on it
Very BIG vid and meeting and STANDING OVATION to Darrem! He is lasting like fews and he deserves to be still in the game and listened to, as can give a very special and unique path, beyond results, titles and medals. I really really Respect his witnessing and experience, so thanks so much DJ for having him here. Great stuff and content👍🏻🤜🏻👏🏻( p.s. I know is true and trust ‘bout his natural tract of career: Ronnie, Mike Ashley, Skip La Cour etc etc many else are forever proofs of some talented/gifted ones which exist [period] and people should know and test, just starting from themselves much more, before jump into gear and throwing shit to the rest of the world)
ignorant of Dennis. you could have heard directly from the source and knew the answer to your own question just by simply paying attention to the sport. when he said that he was 70 to 80% it was because they were planning to do the UK Arnold show and we're dieting for that and the timing of the diet was that the last of the cut would be leading into the Arnold show. since the Texas pro was weeks ahead / prior to the Arnold, meaning that in the cutting process he was only 50 to 75 percent cut. he was less conditioned than his competition like kamal and martin, yet he still won, and he is still dieting the other 25 percent to get down to his true leanness or competition condition at the lower body fat percentage. learn what percentages mean ya goof! if 100 percent is 10 weeks and you diet for 7 weeks, its 70 percent. by the way Andrew is an engineer with a good mathematical education and background so him thinking in percentages is nearly to be expected.

Definitely up there mate funny a lot from that era not mentioned much. Gunter rarely gets mentioned nor tony freeman both stupidly good atheistic.
I totally agree!

@@keithlilly6242 What I mean by "underated" is there were shows that he should've been in the top 5 or even top 3
He wasn’t underrated. He was an undersized robot dancer.
I just realized Dennis you have a beard 😜.
I talked to you for two hours and didn't notice...😂
hahaha you got to pay attention Milos lol
I literally wait for this every week. Love these round table discussions!!
That makes two of us
I will keep them coming for you guys. Thanks for watching
Love from India Denis. ❤❤❤ Really looking forward to more of these stuffs.

Dareem was such a good bodybuilder. Very tough era to compete in
Darrem is very eloquent; I liked him telling stories of the past! Milos amazing brain like always.
Love this show!!
Please see about having Vince Taylor on. Another legend and great athlete of the 90s era. Ty
Lmao Hany “Rambo” 😂😂😂
Darrem was a great performer! Him and Melvin would bring the house down!

Oh man, I remember when Darrem posed at the NY Pro in the classic class and a Shawn Rhodan was recording him with a huge smile on his face.
Filing??
@@juantaste8603 oh shoot, sorry, I ment Shawn was filming(shoot autocorect and I was writing without my New reading glasses)
Damn Darrem still looks amazing 👍
I’ll always remember his Olympia posing routine he did as a tribute to his mother passing back in ‘02🙏
Oh hell yea keep hany on more often!
Hany is great 😎👍🏻👍🏻💯
Love this Chanel. I think Phil’s at his highest now! Staying positive and still making a living doing what he loves. And, still offering the BB community very relevant insight.

What he meant by 75% - 80% is he wasn’t going to do Texas. He was prepping for the Arnold so he technically competed early. That’s what that means.
Love when milos is on
That is very cool you had Darrem Charles.
Please come back Darrem!! 🔥
Darrem was one of the best posers 😊👍🏻👌🏼👌🏼
My eyes were drawn to Andrew more than anyone on that stage... IMO he's like Paul Dillett of today. Both guys are 6'2", both guys complete at around 290lbs. The difference is that Andrew can actually pose really well. Sky's the limit for him.
Yup
Paul had much bigger muscles.
Lol!!! How old are yall? Paul was not that heavy. 270max
good episode 👍
Hopefully they can continue that subject next week!
Finally a new roundtable!

DJ SHAVE THAT FACE BRUH LOL! Great show !
Great Show!
I love these but I feel for Dennis. There's always one guest who turns a question into a 10min story and never answers the question.

Darrem was badass he reminded
Darrem Charles remind me of a bigger version of Sean Ray I remember him from the magazines

5,6,7,8 pounds. The way Milos says things is purely unique.
Darren just wants to talk about himself. That fast Metabolism helped him. Hani's advice is correct. Bodybuilders hate to hear the truth.

another great episode!
Ya def one of the best and amazing what he did natural
AJ will be a second call out at the Mr Olympia
Thank you Gentlemen!
holy sh!t Darrem Charles. he looks great
Hany Rambo 😂
He’s 10 yrs older than Nick Walker. That’s mind boggling
you got to love milos he,s so passionate for his sport he reminds me of a great white jumping on his prey. it wouldn,t suprise me at all if he starts gearing up for that masters olympia in 2023.
lol...no chance for that...My competitive spirit died long ago...
Intro music a bit too loud, but great podcast.
Darren was the first time person that I watched the Firts time the TH-cam came out on 2005
DARREM 🤌🫴where have you been BROOOOOOOOOOOOO
Thank you DJ for these podcasts I love it.. keep up the amazing work 💙
I remember Charles claimed natty for a long time, even when he was on the Mr O stage end of the 90's.
He definitely wasnt on what the other people were but later... Nah.
No Denis, if you have a podcast like this, it's to precisely open cans of worms, not to keep them close. Fortunately Milos was there to actually have a real debate
Looks like DJ found a bottle of hair dye and used it on his beard.
Hany is Rambo now
Andrew is 38 years old, fellas
Can you update your Spotify Dennis?? Or you just don’t post it on there??
hahahahahahaha
Darreem only speaks if the conversation is about him lollol
Looks good still though
Really Darrem? Kamal wasn't almost matching Akim in size. Lol. Not even close. The size discrepancy was so blatantly obvious.
How have I never heard of darrem da fuck

Hany Rambo??? At least write the name of your guests correctly...
Peter Potter's NPC Southern States Championship 1980's , Darrem Charles guest posing before turning pro (natural) unexplainable .

He better skip arnold classic and prepare for Mr Olympia or better skip one year and work hard for being better for next year
