I am an old Buckeye and I agree with your assessment of Ryan Day's teams. Yes, he is soft and so are his teams, and his play calling and tactics in meaningful games are pathetic. His offensive and defensive lines are simply soft cheese. He was ahead twice vs Georgia, but in the crucial 4th quarter, Georgia easily scored 28 points practically unchallenged, while his soft team scored only 3 points and his soft Defense was totally absent in a coma throughout that quarter.

Yes they should have won the game and they didn’t. Stroud clearly put the kicker in the position to win the game. The kicker was a great kicker; didn’t miss a field goal all game. He missed the one that mattered the most and that’s not Georgia’s fault
I’d really like to know which Ohio State fans you and others in these comments are talking about. Myself and all the Ohio State fans I know haven’t even brought up the Marvin Harrison Jr hit (which was clean). The vast majority of us aren’t blaming the loss to Georgia on anything other than not being able to hold a lead, not being able to stop the run, and our kicker badly missing a field goal attempt at the end of the game.
I think people are just going with the “Ohio State fans are blaming the refs” or “Ohio State fans are blaming injuries” narrative just for fun.

Sorry Lou, but your information and stats are wrong. Of the current 14 SEC teams, Ohio State has played 12 of them (never played Ole Miss or Mississippi St). After the loss to Georgia last year, their current record is 23-15-3 against these schools.

The Fact is the Georgia program is very healthy and they stood up to the season, my Tide lost its teeth with those loses and couldn't maintain the game.
