Thank you for making these. I started writing a book when I was 15, filled numerous composition notebooks plus maps and drawings of every land, creature, and character I could imagine. Sadly, when I was 18, the story and all my maps were thrown away by someone I hesitate to call a relative. It was all lost. I have been carrying this story since then, and when I found your music four days ago, I felt so inspired. After almost 20 years of not writing anything, I stayed up until 5am and wrote 6,000 words in one sitting. I got to know my characters again, though many have changed, as I have after all these years. I find myself constantly thinking about the next step in their journey and how to interpret the feelings into words again. Nothing in my life has ever made me more happy then when I am writing, and these collections are absolutely perfect. Please keep making these!
That's amazing! It really is. I'm trying to write my own story that I started in 2022. One way to keep myself motivated is to keep track of how many hours I write a day and then combine at the end of the week. Then I compare two weeks. Believe it or not it's really gotten me off my laziness and want to write more (aside from life and work). My story began on youtube oddly enough at a fantasy tavern playlist by sounds of war channel. It's the comment that has like 50 replies. Anyways I've decided to actually write it into a novel. I toned down traveling around the world for just staying in the kingdom and exploring that. I hope you publish your story! I'm writing chapter 5 of mine at the moment. I have an overall idea for the story I wanna tell.
@@Sean12248 that's amazing! I think that might be a really good strategy to use to keep me motivated as well and keep up the rhythm I've got. I managed to bump my story to 12k words last night. I find myself writing to fast, wanting to explore more of the world. I've got a separate notebook for little side remarks or ideas that don't fit into the story yet. It takes a lot of discipline 😅 I hope you publish yours as well, and best of luck in your journeys, friend!
@Remle907 One other quick tip. Don't keep rewriting the same chapter over and over. Otherwise it'll never get done. I go through a chapter once or twice after finishing and edit. Another tool that helps me is the story came from a painting that I saw in the video. Said painting is now in a 20X30 frame on my wall right above the tv. I see it every single day.
@@Sean12248 definitely will take that into account! I don't write many details into my story yet, unless something really jumps out at me that *needs* to be in there right at that second. I just get everything out, and I've triple spaced it on word so I can print it for editing later (big fan of handwriting my edits). I'll come across something I've written earlier, and I'll be like, "Why the heck is that in there? That doesn't make sense!" But then it does later in the story and I feel silly lol I actually have pictures up around my computer as well! Mainly landscapes or buildings, and that definitely helps with inspiration. Surroundings play a huge part, and since I live in Alaska, and my story takes place in kind of the same environment, I just go out and look at the mountains, forests, and the ocean to see how it would actually be and get a physical feel for it. I might feel not great about not starting writing again for a long time, but better now than never!

What's not different is Roe, Felix and Rular are all still there and some of the story is different. I was hoping people would of added to it but alas no one did. Then I thought I'd just write it myself. Most of what's been written has been world building and the first few chapters. I don't want any of my characters to be a mary sue or male equivalent of that. Let me know what you think you can reply there.

The day before Halloween, 2023. It's snowing big globs of slush. All questing is hereby cancelled. I am staying indoors and listening to Blue Turtle as I write, with a hot cup of tea to keep me company. Despite the snow... The music has lulled me into contentment. :) Edit: Oh man some of these tunes are so unique and a joy to add to my writing playlist. I have nothing like Whispering Wind on there right now. :o

I like to think these videos will slowly become a overall story. We've already seen it sort if. She arrived in the city and had food in a tavern, studied in the ancient library, attended a festival. Then we saw an old temple on an island. Maybe in a future video we'll see the same temple or landscape. It's exciting!

I started to format tasks that take a lot of complex steps like quests. E.g. when a task needs preparation, I put that in a "prologue" section. Dealing with the last steps (e.g. signing and sending an official document) are the endbosses. I listen to this quest preparation music when I prepare those quests for myself. Quite fitting!
Love it very much. The music is so good, video to video. Not all the same, but still from the same person. Not a "deliverable", just honestly a part of someone real being shared. Not even sure if you wrote it, but you at least pick it!

Love it very much. The music is so good, video to video. Not all the same, but still from the same person. Not a "deliverable", just honestly a part of someone real being shared. Not even sure if you wrote it, but you at least pick it!
