It's a bonus of not being super popular yet. While getting popular can reward the content creator with the money/lifestyle they deserve (Blue Turtle's effort making these isn't nearly rewarded enough), large communities, just by statistical likelihood, accumulate bad eggs. Bad eggs tend to be more vocal than normal people, so they seem like a larger group than they are, but it can be stressful for both the author and the community.

I'm not convinced outside a magical library is the best pitch for a greengrocer! You know these students. They live off bread and cheese... Also ooh. Diary Entre- 18:22 After 37 nightfalls of grueling and trekking to reach the town marked on the map, I finally made it! It's a colorful town filled with interesting individuals, so far as I've seen. For all this trouble to get here, I believe it has been worth it. I've come across a cozy library to get out of the rain, though I found a storage closet that I think I'll rest in for the night. Now I can work towards my goals! I want to try to find a mentor to teach me magic so I can get stronger. I also need to see If I can find anything out about the cruel mysterious woman, who decimated my village and everyone I loved. What is this mark on my leg, and why she let me get away with her map? -Moet
Dear Mother It's been well over a month since I last wrote, I know, and I'm sorry. I never meant to worry you. The work I've taken in my journey to the Citadel had taken a great deal more time and concentration than I could have guessed. After taking on a few jobs in Lissos (scrying spells, mending, forecasting, stopping a house fire and twice hunting dangerous beasts) I have decided to move on from that little town on the coast. Yes, mother, I did seek out the instructor at the archery yards there. He was quite nice on first meeting. I even ended up following him out on a hunt for one of my jobs. He gave me excellent advice for the next leg of my travels. I believe he was one of the few people in Lissos I came to know well. He even saw me off as I took to the road once more. I will write to him very soon. After leaving town, I started walking north along the coast road to two days before the path led me deeper into the mountains. Another few days of rocky paths and rough weather later, I finally beheld the old walls and mighty tower rising into the sky. The Citadel. At last, the Citadel! I found my way to the collegium not long after my arrival. The four masters of Elemental Magic meet with and judge any potential students worthy when they arrive, and I must say, the practical experience I gained from working my way here has earned their respect. That was almost a week ago as of writing this letter. Now I am proud to say I have been accepted as a Novice of the Elemental Arts! Even now I can scarcely believe I made it. As for my studies... Well, I will not bore you with the details. For, to write them all down in a single letter would require a sheet of paper the dimensions of a ships sail. There is a great deal more theory and debate to controlling the Elements that I ever thought. Now, my challenges have taken on the form of written examinations and memorizing ancient glyphs from the days of the Old Dominion along with their application. I have a long way to go, but the scholars here are blessedly patient with us. Most of us, at least. I will make you all proud, I swear it. How was the Solstice festival? Did Henry finally work up the courage to talk to the baker's daughter? Has Dad been doing alright? Hard to think, after all I've done and how far I've come, that I only left home a few months ago. I love the idea of the elementalists being teachers and allowing anyone to learn from them! It's such a refreshing idea compared to concepts of magic towers where only those with talent or privelege can learn that are in so many korean and japanese fantasy stories.

I'm writing a side adventure for my DnD campaign and this has been the perfect music to listen to while I write! Thank you for posting this. I stared at my screen all day until I found this and wrote most of the adventure just listening to this!

I've been working on my first novel recently, and I always have to write with music. If there's lyrics, it usually distracts me too much from what I'm writing. All of these videos are long enough that I can just play them while I write, and they're so pretty and calming. The perfect vibe for a writing session :)

What an awesome idea! Atmospheric soundscapes and music with beautiful animation and an overarching metaplot with flavor text to interact with. What a fun way to play at worldbuilding and secondary world immersion! A great artistic installment in the tapestry of fantasy. Subscribed!
I love the idea of the elementalists being teachers and allowing anyone to learn from them! It's such a refreshing idea compared to concepts of magic towers where only those with talent or privelege can learn that are in so many korean and japanese fantasy stories.

Un tout grand merci pour ces voyages et l'atmosphère paisible que ça apporte. Tes dessins et animations très légèrement inspirés des studios Ghibli ajoutent vraiment un petit plus très sympa et j'espère en voir encore beaucoup.

I wasn't even thinking about this when I clicked on the video, but I'm at the Law Library for my work right now and it's cloudy and cold out. Such a great atmosphere :)
