My 16 year old self would be glad to know that the hours and hours of listening to B.B albums in their entirety was something I never abandoned. I'm just fortunate now that I'm in my thirties driving an hour twice a day to work to and from work - I'm able to still do that only with more amazing songs. I Don't know what I would've done throughout my life without these guys helping me a long the way! I only hope that my 5 month old will find everything that I've found in them! Thanks for reading

I'm only 14, but I've been listening to Breaking Benjamin for as long as I can remember. Helped me get through some grieving times, well now that I think about it. It really didn't help much, that was just my excuse for listening to depressing music at the time. The truth is it made it harder to get over death, like my dad and uncle's😔
Yea this band is truly amazing, gets you right there in your feels. They've helped me too, along with Staind, 3 days grace, puddle of mudd and many other bands. I had depression when I was younger, and had started when I lost my mother at 14. I started to get anxiety shortly after her passing as well. I definitely felt lost without her and like I didn't get to talk more with her and build more of a connection, it still hurts to this day. I'll never fully heal, but eventually you learn to cope, like us all, life doesn't stop for us and just tell yourself everyday that you can do anything, to stay strong and that your loved one is still there for you, even though it's in a different way, they love you and want you to grow and live your life to the fullest 😊

I interpret this as someone talking to their depression and self doubts, or rather a personification of them, and how they come and go. I myself struggle with on and off depression, one minute im on top of the world and have life by the balls, other times I feel like shit. My brain can't pick one over the other, so it chooses to swap between the two. And I listen to the lyrics and I feel like the person is trying their damndest to fight this negativity off, but they just keep coming back twice as hard.
I was half asleep when I listened to this last. I had a dream of a serial killer stalking his victims before strangling them and leaving their bodies. One victim was singing this as she died, staring at him with dying eyes as he stood over her lifeless body. Now this song will forever be about the victims of a serial killer in my mind.

holy crap :,( I listened to this song over and over and over again for about 1 hour because it explains so perfectly how I feel and think about this girl who betrayed me and made me depressed and suicidal because she was my first true love... she was my everything... and this song explains perfectly how I feel towards her now... tell me if im wrong but this song sound like to me that he is singing about this girl who broke his heart and she dosent even care but he is so blind to her because he still loves her and will always be there for her still although she keeps betraying him and he finally sees who she is "i find what lies beneath your sick twisted smile"

I love this song, and it is very sad and messed up that so many people, such as me, can relate to it.
I interpret this as someone talking to their depression and self doubts, or rather a personification of them, and how they come and go. I myself struggle with on and off depression, one minute im on top of the world and have life by the balls, other times I feel like shit. My brain can't pick one over the other, so it chooses to swap between the two. And I listen to the lyrics and I feel like the person is trying their damndest to fight this negativity off, but they just keep coming back twice as hard.
OMG...shame on me...I havent heard them like for more than a year...I almost forgot how legendary they are!!!!

I was half asleep when I listened to this last. I had a dream of a serial killer stalking his victims before strangling them and leaving their bodies. One victim was singing this as she died, staring at him with dying eyes as he stood over her lifeless body. Now this song will forever be about the victims of a serial killer in my mind.
