❤ I have two pair and both have broke. If they had the speaker cup using two mounting points rather than one and used aluminum, not plastic for the housing it would be the best on the market. Rite now, I think they are only worth $20 USD. They took the best and made it the worst.

I got the Wicked Cushions ear pads and they're worse for me... Everyone says they're bigger, but that's not entirely true. They're larger in total size than the stock ear pads, and the inner ear opening is taller. However, the inner opening is significantly narrower! It's a massive difference. The opening on the WC ear pads is ridiculously narrow and I can't understand how anyone can use these. It's like they're designed just for tiny ears. The SteelSeries stock ear pads are not just wider, but they're also shaped more as a rounded rectangle rather than an oval, which makes them much more accommodating for the ears. The WC ones are worse for fitting in ears.

the earcuffs you prefer look like the earcuffs on my headset after 2+ years of use... not pretty.
"it is a downside that it does not come with a stand" ?? there is no headset that does, normally that is, though there are some that do. It is not normal, and should not be expected.

I like the sound, but they all break in the same spot. Its not worth the money until they fix their major flaw. That flaw is the headband and earcup connect in one spot, and its poorly designed. The backing or holding mechanism is too small and so it eventually breaks through the plastic.
How long did you have the headset for? I have had mine for 1 year and no issues yet
@@ElectricShock14 First one broke at 13 months, the second a little shy of two years. Google it, its a very common issue.
They made an aesthetic design decision that puts all the stress on a single 1/2 of plastic on each earcup.

Yes, I have the same issue. After wearing them for a while it starts to hurt. Ive heard that pleather cups should be firmer and by so your ears shouldnt touch the plastic part. I just got my pleather cups and installed them today. If you want i can tell you how they feel.

Steel Series Arctis Pro Wireless is the greatest headphone on the market for what it does. Except for the same problem the 9s and other series have. That stupid hinge design that goes from metal to plastic. If I had found reviews that actually pointed out that since 2018 it's been a known garbage flaw that 100% will affect every user no matter how nice you are to them, I would have never bought it. I can't even get my RMA through because they aren't going to have any more in stock to replace them anytime soon. The customer service person I have been emailing about my RMA said "Late 2022, or early 2023."

As much as I love the Arctis Pro in terms of audio quality, the ski headband design is absolutely awful and barely has any adjustment possible. Also very uncomfortable with glasses on. I've owned a lot of headphones, these are definitely the most uncomfortable to wear.
Unfortunately those ear pads changes sound drastically!
