Even at this point Jason couldn't helped himself when it came to Sam. Once he started to care about her he couldn't stopped. That is exactly what happened in this episode. Let's remember that everything began when Jason took care of her when she ran away and then she told Jason she felt safe with him. Later on, Jason also took care of Sam when she thought she was losing the baby. Now, that he realized that Courtney was playing games with Jax it became clear to Jason what he was feeling about Sam it was not a fleeting feeling. Jason knew it was something much more meaningful and deeper. Something that took him by surprise. It was totally unexpected but yet it happened to him. Jason was falling hard for Sam and he couldn't stop himself nor he wanted to because he needed her as much or maybe more than she needed him. Blessed be!

When it comes to Sonny and his kids he’s so possessive and thinks of no one but himself! He got Sam pregnant and instead of backing down he keeps saying that he’s the father and it’s his rights to his child that no one is going to take away from him! But no one is forcing that issue!!! And when he found out about Kristina, what did he do with that information! He went after Alexis and she got Sam so upset that she lost her baby! And for them to say it was a medical issue and not Alexis was wrong because it was her fault that Sam baby died
I don’t see how Sonny can possibly think it’s part of Jason’s job to get Sam to sign those papers about the baby! Come on, that’s So disrespectful to Jason! I thought it was bad enough when Sonny would hook up with Sam in Jason’s home and Jason was expected to leave.
I think he did it to make a point...sonny basically saying CHOOSE. And that's what really demonstrated the depths of his feelings for Sam because whilst he tried to stay neutral, he made it clear, he was not going to force her to do anything, he would support her, and he wasn't going to let anyone take her baby from her. In comparison, when sonny booted Courtney, Jason was like See YA.
Sonny has always been a coward. He was constantly telling Jason to stay out of it when it came to Sam and her pregnancy but always put Jason in the middle when it was convenient for him. Personally, I have never understood the popularity of Sonny. He treats women like crap, consistently treats them like his possessions, he’s supposed to be the romantic lead male but has had so many dud romances. And he has never been a believable mob boss. Jason was always the intimidating factor and Sonny always hid behind him.
So can anyone whose been watching not tell this man has strong feelings for Sam...if people want to say, it is strictly for the baby they are blind...Sonny would have given her a house, so she was set...she didn't have to be with Jason, he wanted her.
