Sam surprised Jason with the shipping contract. His face said it all. She showed him how capable she was, not only handling a gun but knowing about the shipping business. He realized Sam was a lot more than what met the eyes and that she had a a lot to offer. Sam showed Jason that she actually is an asset for him. Something he never had before in any of his other relationships no even with Carly. Especially because with Carly he always has to solve the problems she gets herself into. So, right then and there Jason knew that Sam fit perfectly with his lifestyle. But more specifically because she has proven to be fierce, strong, extremely capable, reliable, trustworthy, loyal, loving, caring and loves to live dangerously. Blessed be!

I always found it so obnoxious how Sonny always acts like such a self-centered jackass and no one is allowed to stray angry at him for his behavior. He was a jerk throughout Sam’s pregnancy and then after she loses the baby they quickly scramble for a story that had Sam forgiving Sonny, when people thought she kidnapped Kristina and she stole from Sonny. It was the same way with Courtney, he always treated Carly like crap, playing Brenda off of her. He’s awful.

Alexis failed sam so many times and treated her like shit before she found out she was her daughter, then she became an overbearing parent, but later mellowed out. I hate how they've turned alexis back into the overbearing neurotic versus who she was when jasam married and who she was with Julian. That is when she was most like sam.
