I was impressed that they didn't call it and raced it out, yes there could be things that could have been better but ultimately, kudos for Nascar for running this race out.

I heard Ford was the one who turned down Kyle as well, because wherever Kyle went, he wanted factory support for KBM, and Ford wasn't willing to do that, now granted Kyle ended up closing the team a year later anyways so he basically turned down an SHR ride for no reason, but yeah, Ford was behind SHR not getting either of the Kyles. As for Cole, him + Childers could be a dangerous combo, but it sounds to me like Rodney wants to follow Berry wherever he goes which puts Joe Custer in a tough spot because he either has to keep Berry and Childers or neither, and I really doubt anyone else besides Cole is driving that car tbh

The one thing that wasn't mentioned was FORD not renewing their support contract. At least that's what I have read, IF true then what manufacture is going to be with HAAS Factory Team?
Joe Custer said they will be Ford. I don't know about factory support but Ford couldn't afford to lose Haas factory team in Xfinity series unless rfk or Penske was willing to restart Xfinity series team because all Ford Xfinity series teams really on SHR Xfinity series for cars and stuff

Pretty disappointed in NASCARS inability to be prepared. They've had rain tires for almost 2 years now, and they didn't have a plan in place FOR PIT STOPS??!!

@@johnhaas2523 I understand that but, why can’t a billion dollar racing organization run some wet weather tests? Why are the tires sitting there if nascar doesn’t know how they perform. I think I learned to collect data in science class in 5th grade.
