This much hard time and dedication presented by Director of Housekeeping are the amount we obtain during the inspection of Quality auditor from the corporate office.
now, once again the Director of Housekeeping are urging everyone in Housekeeping to maintain the same kind of spirit and looking forward for the best result for the next Auditing of Quality Auditor 2014.
He checked the details and found the dust but he appreciated their hardwork and scored them 85 - 95%. Then he encouraged improvement. Good manager.
he just wants his roomboys work more efficiently but he doesn't understand that the roomboys are also fighting with time everytime they make up room
Even you clean hardly.. is easy to find dust in the room. I did this job for 10 years.. the cheking too much drama.
I think this is a training section for supervisors how to inspect a guest room for arrival but I noticed that you start by bed then you come back to main door then moved to mini bar and other area of the room from my experience in house keeping the way we inspect the room is in a clockwise or anti clock wise that way make sure no area in the room will be missed thanks for sharing this training and wish you all the best wish to see new sections
Yes you have to check it clock wise.. but you have to check it thoroughly as the way we inspecting the rooms.and that is the bottom line of this video.. deep inspection by supervisor... again thank you..
Checking is very easy, But doing is not easy.
Its very hard to do the job.

Housekeeping is not a easy job.its phisically hard job.. nobody can't do 100% in housekeeping. I worked 4 years as a room attendant.so I know difficult it is. Now I am working as hk supervisor.. this is also very hard.. checking a room is not so easy.. because probably you will not get time to check all the rooms very deeply. As most of the time we will have more check out and back to back arrival. When we are not busy that time these kind of drama will be there..
Do they know that the average rooms the Roomboy has is 16 up to 24 even more and the Director wants is a dustless room?that's bullshit!

The role of rm attendant is full of responsibility...you can terminate if you get a mistake...some supervisor or manager he dont care what will happen to the room attendant..that is the true...beacause im the one of rm attendant...

It is impossible to check the rooms like this for one day we are gating 40to 50 rooms back to back but we can do daily 4to5 rooms deep cleaning to wt the help of room boy
The number of rooms allocated to room attendant is key part here, nobody would like to reduce it instead increasing. Once in a blue moon ehk comes and checks gives follow ups is just a routine. Even he knows that if he handles the other end it can be more worst . But to save our own hot seat they have to pass the dirt from up to down.
Dust is not in our control... its coming from ac... its only drama...

Deep cleans should be done weekly, certain things on a rotation. It would take way too long to keep up w guests. Maybe get all detailed on slow days.
First of all room inspection is wrong because he start with bed room first start to main door every time check by clock wise this is standard
you could use a small size LED flashlight so you could have better visual on inspection etc... hope this advise could help to.

if you are good attendant.. no one will kick you from the work. but if you are bad room attendant.specially your attitude.. you can't stay in housekeeping.Housekeeping is a discipline department and a role model.

Just trying to find out the compliance only . Nothing else he doesnt check the basic things which is really important , like Telephone smell free,wash room door handle cleaned well or not health closet , towels Free smel tv remorts free stained , drinage , etc. Most important with out room percentage cleaning check list how ? Simple just a show
if u check the room like this per day u can check only 5 to 10 rooms funny people

Karadagatlakeerthi Keeru we must to inspect the room once a month with higher official orelse hk can't develop . And supervisor has to check randomly Per day. Maintain the room by schedule cleaning standard. Thanks for understanding.
