Apparently the writer is insane. Gizmoduck is also from Duckburg. Launchpad also directly references Scrooge in the actual series of DWD. So being in an alternate universe is reaching at best and an outright lie at worst.
Quackerjack is more like the Jokester (Arrow Villain) and Toyman (Superman), honestly. While the Joker / Harley do occasionally use rediculous devices, it is the cornerstone of Quackerjack, and likewise, it is the bread and butter of Toyman.
If Launchpad McQuack is not in the same universe as DuckTales. Then that stands to reason that there is two Gizmo ducks, due to the fact that they had an episode in Darkwing Duck that had gizmoduck in it and Launchpad McQuack alluding to a former employer in duxburg.
I prefer to think that Ducktales and Darkwing Duck occur in the same reality. Gen reaching and nothing new .
🤣🤣🤣💯
I sould be voice overing I can do molely from rescue rangers and like 4 others
Launchpad will always live in the same universe as Duck Tales and Darkwing Duck for me. But I always thought it like Launchpad left Scrooge McDuck to join Darkwing Duck, instead.
I respect the creators opinion. But yeah when I was younger I just thought Launchpad just left duckberg at some point and worked with Darkwing it was that point that made me watch in the first place. That and he looked like the shadow.
So how did Tad explain Gizmo duck in the Darkwing Duck uni?
I'm too lazy to read the article right now.
I love how y'all still describe Disney as a large, but benevolent global company.
I don't know if there are two of him...but he was DEFINATELY on DuckTales first as comic relief and their main pilot, then later appeared on Darling Duck as Darkwing's sidekick....I think kids liked Launchpad, and Disney saw that and put him in Darkwing, giving him more screen time.....so what's everyone's favorite 90's Disney cartoon series?....mine is DuckTales...
Fun to see how they will do the new reboot. Because they placed the new DW in the new DuckTales.
The problem with dark wing duck is a 1992 there was so much good stuff on TV! One of my favorite cartoons ever
I didn't even know it was 2 different Launchpad's, i thought they were the same one. I loved Darkwing Duck on tv and still listen to the theme song today as it's my favorite one. I'm still hoping for the live action movie that was being developed with practical suits, etc and done like Howard the Duck suit and Rocket mix.
Gizmoduck also appears in both Duck Tales, & Darkwing Duck...
So does that mean there are two Gizmoducks as well?
I like DuckTales and Darkwing Duck both are my favorite shows now I can watch it on Disney +
Darkwing Duck for NES was my first video game ever, never beat it.
Jim Cummings also sings theme songs for tv, my favorite of which is Extreme Ghostbusters.
Did the creator forget all the crossovers between Ducktales and Darkwing Duck?
If Launchpad McQuack is not in the same universe as DuckTales. Then that stands to reason that there is two Gizmo ducks, due to the fact that they had an episode in Darkwing Duck that had gizmoduck in it and Launchpad McQuack alluding to a former employer in duxburg.
I prefer to think that Ducktales and Darkwing Duck occur in the same reality. They already bridged the gap between the two shows when Launchpad introduced Fenton Crackshell [Gizmoduck] to Drake Mallard [DW], referring to Fenton as an "old pal from Duckburg." I mean, sure it could be 2 separate universes. It doesn't have to be, but it can
They need to reboot this show one of the best cartoons of the 90’s
Well if its the one from the Ducktales reboot he kinda of lame
All of my nostalgia buttons were getting pogo-sticked on with that montage of old Disney theme songs.
