    Another great video Ludmila. You are my absolute favorite polymer clay artist. I was very apprehensive when I first found you. I didn't think it was possible to learn much from a person that doesn't actually talk to you during the videos But time and time again you have proven me wrong. Your videos are professional and I learn something nearly every time. I'm so thankful I found you. If you are new to polymer clay and you're looking for a fantastic teacher, look no further. I strongly suggest all beginners support Ludmila via Patreon, you will not regret it. And for those of you that have been doing this a while, I truly feel you too can learn from her style and eye for jewelry and just about anything polymer clay.

    I love this, it is so gorgeous! There was another polymer clay artist here on youtube that said nail polish will eventually make your projects break down into a goo, have you ever had this problem? She said nail polish and polymer clay is a no no.

    • @SweetyBijouPro
      @SweetyBijouPro  6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Dear Anastasia! I'm not using here and any where the "nail polish" - I use UV nail gel polish. This is completely different materials.. The UV nail gel polish is works like resin or Magic gloss! :) I have my beads and jewelry pieces which I made more then 1 year ago and covered them with my UV nail gel polish and everything is ok with them! But, yes, you can't use just common nail polish for your polymer clay works!

    Людмила, смотрю и поражаюсь! Каждый раз думается: "Вот он предел совершенства, апофеоз мастерства!" А потом смотришь новое видео и понимаешь, то был еще не предел. Знаете, как-то случайно оказалась на форуме, где ребята расписывают солдатиков. и чем реалистичнее, тем круче. И в память врезался комментарий одного мастера по поводу работ другого: "Я думал, что я крут в своих работах, но посмотрел на него и понял: а небо так высоко!" Вот я смотрю на вашу работу и чувствую себя насекомым. А НЕБО ТАК ВЫСОКО!

      Татьяна, я вам благодарна за вашу высокую оценку! Мне очень приятно читать ваши слова в мой адрес!
      Я люблю свое дело и всегда стараюсь быть на шаг впереди в своем новом результате от предыдущего! Без этого не будет развития! Я всегда смотрю на работы известных мастеров и впитываю их профессионализм в работах, для меня все еще так же "небо высоко"! Но я стремлюсь всеми мыслями и душой, как говорится!))
      Еще раз, благодарю вас! МНе очень важно читать ваши отзывы!

    • @valentinakabiuk7808

      Может я не то смотрю, ну лучше мастеров я не видела .На мой взгляд вы лучшая, неповторимая,c собственным почерком и видно ,что вы обожаете то что делаете, значит ваши украшения будут приносить только удачу тем, кто их носит. Тем не менее, хочу спросить: на какие такие работы известных мастеров вы равняетесь? Неужели есть похлеще?.

    Beautiful work! I wanted to ask, if you could recommend anything else to seal the work other than the nail polish? I'm absolutely allergic to the smell of it :/ tried using Sculpey Polimer Clay Varnish, but it doesn't seem to be strong, and since it's water based, it smudges the paint/ ink. I'd appreciate any tips :) Thank you!

    • @SweetyBijouPro
      @SweetyBijouPro  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      YOu also can try Kato varnishing - I like it the most of all others polymer clay varnishings..
      Also, I think the UV nail gels is have not so strong smells, it will loosing after little time..
      Probably you can try UV resin too..
      And If you have problems with "smudges the paint/ ink." - you need to try : Clear Glaze Aerosol Spray! I didn't tried this one (they does not ship it to Thailand).. Or some other glazes in spray for polymer clay!

  • @kimhuff
    @kimhuff 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Question: About half way through you were using the bronze paste and you sprayed water on the top of the paper for the jar then put some of the paste on your finger and mixed it with the water on the paper. Why? What does that do for you and the clay/paste?
    Also, when you started this did you have an idea what you wanted to do? For example, did you have drawings or did you just make it up as you went along? I ask because when you were putting on the thin coiled snake you kept messing with the way it curved and I wasn't sure if you had a preconceived concept or if you were just going til you liked it.

    • @grittykitty50
      @grittykitty50 6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Kim Huff, the Inka Gold paste goes on smooth and creamy if you moisten your finger first. You can also revive dried paste by spraying some water in the container and letting it sit overnight. Then mix thoroughly and your paste should be smooth like it was when new.

      @SweetyBijouPro  6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Dear Kim, will answer now on your 2nd question, because grittykitty50 is right on 100%!
      Kim, in the video I showed - this is my 2nd try for such pendant! But my first on 100% my improvisation! So 2nd one was more easy to repeat for me! And of course still Improvising, all the time! Because I don't want to make identical jewelry pieces!

      Lisa Jarvis ...I use metal screws from my hardware store. Look there too for other fittings and findings that you can use with clay. I had a medal that was used many years ago from a flower show... Made a casting of it and then some signature seals. Ludmila's signature seal video is excellent....when I can't figure out what to do in clay I sit down and make a bunch of seals. Lots of different finishes and shapes and styles....lots of fun. 🌹
