the original strips that you use for the bezel: what are they called? also: i didn't miss a thing by lack of narration. your display and product was amazing
@@kimberlysturgis4822 I've never tried a soldering iron, but it might be a good option😉 I can control the flow direction of the solder while using a torch. I use this hand torch for small soldering jobs and a propane burner torch for heavier jobs.
A soldering iron doesn't get hot enough to solder silver. It's great for Tiffany soft soldering, but that's an entirely different technique. It's used primarily for stained glass.
If you read the title, this is an ASMR tutorial. Also, many people don't narrate their tutorials because English isn't their first language, and there's plenty of rude people who make unnecessary comments.
What a gorgeous labor of love!

Why do you choose the little torch vs a soldering iron?

@heathernichol378 thanks a lot for your professional answer😉
What gauge silver are you using ?
I used a 0.5mm thick silver sheet and gallery wire with a width of approximately 5.1mm :)

@heathernichol378 Hi - I'm not familiar with the term ASMR - what does it stand for? Thanks!
Cat got your tongue? Why don’t you narrate your video?
