Stuffed grape leaves are pretty dope. If you ever see them at a Greek or Middle-Eastern restaurant, try them again. The canned ones probably had a weird taste to them.
Some brands of the canned ones are pretty good but you can’t beat restaurants one that’s for sure.. still absolutely delicious tbh i want some so bad right now

Went and bought a can of Cedar brand and it was delicious 🤤
They are awesome! You can easily make them by yourselfe, if you have access to a wine plant.
The canned ones usually aren't as good because olive oil is often replaced with sunflower oil. It's thick and sludgy so sometimes it can be unappetizing.
These are, by far, the hardest peebs videos to watch because pbg is such a picky eater.
Stuffed grape leaves (homemade, not from a can) are my number one favorite food, so watching this was painful D:

I don't wanna be rude, but are you from a different country? I've heard it can be a delicacy somewhere, but I have never seen them before (UK), and I can't remember where they're a delicacy for the life of me. Judging by Peebs (and how US can be quite similar to UK in lots of ways) I'm guessing it's not an American thing

The stuffed grape leaves look just like regular stuffed grape leaves, pretty good coming from a can. I'm starting to think Peebs just doesn't like stuffed grape leaves.
He needs some yogurt sauce to dip them in. I had trouble with dolma as a kid (TOO flavorful) and the cucumber yogurt sauce made it a more mellow treat!
God now I want some dolma.

My family actually makes these grape leaf thingies you ate. Normallly you roll the meat and rice on the leaves and cook it. If made right, it is actually really good, but canned food is always kinda iffy.
I don't know if the one you ate came precooked or not.

Transported to a creepy castle, Forced to eat cursed groceries 'Til the end of time. Now they may be cursed but they're not the worst, They're often kind of yummy. That’s so funny that you’re having such a hard time with the grape leaves stuffed with rice. My wife and I eat those all of the time, they’re delicious. They’re even better fresh from a Greek or Lebanese restaurant. They’re called “Dolma.”

The stuffed grape leaves aren't too terribly bad if you get the non-canned kind with garbanzo beans (aka chickpeas) inside with the rice. I've never tried the canned kind, but I'll take Peebs' word for it. lol ;w; Sorry he had to go through that... .nwn.

I actually loved those Potato Smiles when I was little, my mom always bought them instead of fries for when we had hamburgers or chicken nuggets because we liked the smiles faces more than the "boring fries"
in defense of dulma (rice filled leaves) , the canned ones are never as good as the fresh ones ,its a dish from my culture so trust me i know, the canned ones are covered in that weird perservative goo and are much colder than they are supposed to be , if i ever have to resort to eating the canned stuff ( we keep it around some times in case we dont have ready food) its better taking the pods out of the can and heating them in the microwave but it will never taste like fresh dulma , its not a weird food and its not bad at all it tastes great if prepared by someone who actually knows what they are doing
The elementary school i went to served the potato smiles quite a bit. They were always incredibly bland but I think that was more the school's fault

Plant-based cheese substitutes are about as close as us Lactose Intolerants get to real food for a lot of freezer goods or non perishables (Most things have milk, including all but like 2 Dorito flavors!) There are some good ones out there, but you're right that the average one is pretty gross (and overpriced!) I'd recommend the plant based Babybels!

@@napoleonfeanor Things like Lact-Aid assist in discomfort, not in alleviating all side effects of consumption like abnormal bowel movements. Needless to say, those with actual Milk allergies cannot use enzymes at all and have far less selections at an American supermarket than you might expect.
@devanandrews834 Luckily, I'm not allergic to dairy, so I can drink the lactose free milk and be fine, but there is no lactose free cheese (besides cottage cheese). I tried the plant base ones at my store, but I didn't like any of them.
@@scarffoxandfriends9401 Yeah, the texture on plant based cheese can be rough. I tried some sliced ones the other day, 5 dollars for like 10 slices, and the texture was not good. Flavor was okay, the cheddar was better than the american as far as close enough to cheese.
