Besides being a talented young lady whose star will most definitely only grow bigger and brighter, her unmatched enthusiasm for rock makes her one of its greatest ambassadors.
I smell jealousy in the comments from some old school rockers who can't jam as hard as Nandi. Nandi is the future of the genre, have a little respect and again perspective. Sit down to your turkey dinner and eat it. Shut up! I can't stand for that behavior on the people who say they can play but refuse to really listen to when Kids rock. I know she's a kid, but she is special. Not all kids are like Nandi. They like things like T Swift or Billie. Good artists but not Rock necessarily. Nandi rocks to Foos, Muse and whatever else... She rocks yo. Positive Mental Attitude for all of you and have a real listen to it.
Wow! Nandi deserves every word of praise ever given. She is extremely talented but most of all she works hard, is ambitious and apparently never stops learning. She and her parents must feel great pride.
This little sprout of a human being is better than me at everything music, and I don't care! I'm too damn impressed to be jealous of the kid. Go Nandi!
I absolutely agree that the song does not have these overproduced streamlined kid-star vibes but radiates pure passion, the love for music and the spirit of rock. The Sound is authentic, powerful and earthy. I think she definitely has the talent to go places and I hope she does!
I only knew her for the bass and drum stuff. I didn't realize she was so versatile. I love hearing a song by a kid that isn't "kid" sounding. Powerful stuffy. She's certainly going places. 😊🤘🏻
I think I caught wind of Nandi and started to follow her just a smidge prior to the drum off with Dave, It would have been one of her drum covers that I saw first and my immediate thoughts were that rock is not dead and is safe and sound when there are kids like Nandi out there drumming and strumming away like she does.
Aaargh! This is where two of my favourite people collide! Loved Justin’s podcast for some time and Nandi, well it’s been a joy to work with her and family making bespoke garments for both the Jubilee and the Taylor Hawkins tribute at Wembley . I cried when I first heard this track , so moving!
Nandi's awesome. Anyone who can drum along to Tool is mega talented, Danny Carey might just be the greatest living drummer and Nandi isn't that far behind
There's a lot of frighteningly talented kids out there, Nandi is no exception. I have a theory that there has always been a ton of kids like that, you just never heard or saw them before the internet, unless they made it on to Good Morning America or whatever.
I only knew her for her drum playing. She's another young performer who has a bright future. I've been following 14 yr old Taj Farrant, and he's incredible too. His single Crossroads was #1 on the ITunes Blues Charts and #2 was his instrumental song Cruz. He played on stage at 10 with Carlos Santana, Orianthi, Kiss and Rob Thonas. He's been noticed by Eric Johnson, Joe Monamassa and Prince's musical director Morris Hayes. He plated all the instruments on his Crossroads single. I enjoyed the video but prefer to watch him playing at one of his tour dates in the last couple of months. He's going to be one of the top guitar players in the future. Thank goodness there's some super talented kids coming up.
Absolutely brilliant, I watch every day Justin, and this is in the Ren category as you mentioned early on. I can see her musical genius just getting better and better.
I've heard this song when it came our and was so surprised of how good of a songwriter she was, yes boys and girls, she wrote that song, not only she is already a top notch musician by the age of 13 but such a mature songwriter, this young lady will be big eventually....
I'm a bit of a hermit, so I don't follow media too close and never heard of this girl. She's great! Thank you, Mr. Hawkins, for the heads up to look into this big talent. It worked just as you likely wish for with your channel and gained her a new fan.
Absolutely amazingly talent young girl. I just those around her keep her grounded, and make sure she has good agency's. Because yer you don't come accros that talent from one at such a young age.
Yes! 👏👏 I've been following Nandi for several years now and I absolutely love, respect and admire her dedication to learning and creating music! 💯 What makes you're doing this now so cool is, I actually had thought when I first started watching you, how cool it'd be if you were to review this young lady who as you may know Dave Grohl (Rock & Grohl) once dubbed the queen of rock and roll in a song he penned just for her!
She is cool! 🤩 For comments-day: I went from Denmark (from the city of Aarhus) to Berlin a couple of weeks ago just to see you play with the Darkness. Wonderful show!! But as a Dane, I can’t stop thinking about this - what makes a young, British, uprising rock and roll star write a song about the Tollund Man???”
Nandi’s so incredibly talented it’s hard to believe she’s only 12! Her drum battle with Dave Grohl & performance at Taylor Hawkins’ Tribute show made me think she’d be a legendary drummer one day but I had no idea she could play guitar, bass, piano AND sing too! What an incredible and inspirational young woman. Wish her every success in the music industry. We’re going to see great things from her. 🥰 Definitely need a Nandi & J-Hawks collab at some point! Pretty please 🙏🏻
DUDE, the show in Paris last night was fuggin amazing. I took my 13 year who came in not knowing a song of yours and came out saying that it was his favorite gig to this point. good times !! thank you for a great evening
I sincerely hope the music industry doesn't screw it all up by telling her what she's going to be writing and performing, should she pursue a musical career. She's got real talent and should be admired for it versus made into a record label clone
So sad to hear she’s got a father with depression hopefully there‘s good people around help her to stay stable it’s quite dangerous having depression in one’s family 😢
I never heard of Nandi before. Can't say that anymore!!! Super skilled!!! I think she and H.E.R. should collaborate. It's weird how H.E.R. collaborated with Dave Grohl and so did Nandi. Or was that a video copy she just did? I am not familiar - yet.
Justin you definitley have to listening the band mothers's cake....they are so good, it reminds me a bit of led zepplin, so powerful like a kick from chuck norris :)
Hi Justin, I'm your supporter from the First super album, first live in Italy. One question: how you solved the problem with your hair? Since these last years are Better, so if you could share your experience It Will be very good. Thanks
5:56 easy way to remind it: Sam Smith is the one who took the place of what could have been the best Bond theme song, a.k.a. Spectre by Radiohead. So, Spectre.
The vocals were meant to be soft, but you missed so many powerful parts in her voice. Sad, that you make such comments about her voice when you don’t know what you’re talking about
@@CJ-oi7zm Eh? 'So much comments'? If you mean so *many* comments, I made ONE. You can sing softly and still have a strong vocal. I'm been a classical vocalist for 30 years so actually I DO know what I'm talking about.
@@RosieHarp well, it doesnt show it, but obviously u didn’t pass the human being test , because i see u’r an A-hole into auto correct, corrections. But I see u can’t read either, where’s the “ so much comments”. So so sad…..
The thing is, running everything through the computer, fixing the drums, auto-tune on the vocals and all the stuff they run the instruments through, you can't hear how talented she may be. She may be a genius multi-instrumentalist/vocalist/songwriter, or a young person who can bang out a simple beat on a drum, scream, and pose with the other instruments. There's really no way to know based on this production. It's like serving a steak in a bowl of hot sauce. "How's it taste?" How TF would I know?

Justin!!! 💜💜💜 thank you, thank you, thank you 🙏🏽 You are the best 🙏🏽 Hope we get to jam and write a song together one day 🤘🏽🤘🏽🤘🏽
Make that happen! 🙂
Nandi is the next generation to carry on Rock !! She is incredible and a force that the younger generation needs to hear !!!
Amazing song, Nandi! Amazing, impressive and such words don’t even do it justice. Keep up the stellar work!
For sure that would be great for both of you
💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
She's ridiculously gifted.
Besides being a talented young lady whose star will most definitely only grow bigger and brighter, her unmatched enthusiasm for rock makes her one of its greatest ambassadors.
She has lots of presence. Thanks Justin for taking a look at this amazing young musician
Please do an interview with/Nandi. The musicians she has met and their contributions to her musical education are a great story.
There is Hope for Rock n Roll after all! My god! Nandi... wow!

Her talent is off the chart.
Thumbs alive for Justin 9 thousand to go let’s get to half a million and celebrate on tour!!!❤
This little sprout of a human being is better than me at everything music, and I don't care! I'm too damn impressed to be jealous of the kid. Go Nandi!
I can relate to this comment, I'm gobsmacked
I absolutely agree that the song does not have these overproduced streamlined kid-star vibes but radiates pure passion, the love for music and the spirit of rock. The Sound is authentic, powerful and earthy.
I think she definitely has the talent to go places and I hope she does!
I'm not into 'kiddie performers' however she's obviously a serious musician and she *writes songs* which cancels any negativity 😁
I wish I was this talented . Can’t wait to see her progress as she grows up . This is just the beginning. Nice pick Justin !!
Ohhh I was hoping you'd cover this! Nandi is brilliant ❤

🎶 _She's got the power, she's got the sound, Nandi on the drums makes the world go round!!!!_ 🎶 (beautiful song by D.G. for a beautiful humankind💜)
For one so young, Nandi is so grounded. With the working relationships she’s made, there’s plenty of quality people around her to keep her so 👏🏼
Omg you just said she was 12, this is incredible, it's beautiful. Very talented young person
Nandi's awesome. Anyone who can drum along to Tool is mega talented, Danny Carey might just be the greatest living drummer and Nandi isn't that far behind
I agree. It does have a Bond feel. Thanks, Justin!
On the path that she is on she will become one of the most influential musicians of the next twenty years easily
There's a lot of frighteningly talented kids out there, Nandi is no exception. I have a theory that there has always been a ton of kids like that, you just never heard or saw them before the internet, unless they made it on to Good Morning America or whatever.
Lenny Kravitz introduced her to the musical world!
The online world exposes them to other great musicians and things to learn. If they spend their time productively, they;ll get great.
I love to see her grow as a musician. She is already awesome
Huge talent and please keep us updated on her no doubt successful career
This is quite interesting and ethereal from Nandi in areas.
Nurture and cherish your talent Nandi.

Love this song. Nandi is straight up amazing!

Nando defines prodigy. Simply extraordinary.
I hope you get to advise her on the pitfalls of the music industry 😉
Enjoyed this one.
I've been thinking... You should have Corey Feldman support The Darkness on tour! Seriously! :0)
Wow...
Super talented 😮
So sad to hear she’s got a father with depression hopefully there‘s good people around help her to stay stable it’s quite dangerous having depression in one’s family 😢
2:04 That's exactly what I was thinking that it had that James Bond theme to it…
Nandi Bushell is really promising and seems to evolve the best way possible.
Such profession nandi bushell you play so many instruments man
What a kid!
To me, the song sounds like if Muse made a James Bond theme.
WOW!!
See you tomorrow in Amsterdam
See ya then!

Had some Deep Purple vibes for me. She really is a Child in Time ( did you see what I did there).
The voice at 3 min you talk, reminds me so much of Ozzy!
restores yer faith in people and music doesn't it.
Justin you definitley have to listening the band mothers's cake....they are so good, it reminds me a bit of led zepplin, so powerful like a kick from chuck norris :)
Good song!
Sounds a LOT like latter-day Muse
I remember when Lenny Kravitz introduced her to the musical world all those years ago! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
You got to play with brian may you are gifted!
Hi Justin, I'm your supporter from the First super album, first live in Italy.
One question: how you solved the problem with your hair?
Since these last years are Better, so if you could share your experience It Will be very good. Thanks
I had to look up when Prince passed away, just to be sure she wasn't his reincarnation !
(April 21st 2016, save you looking) !
Remember backstage at Newcastle City Hall?....🐌
5:56 easy way to remind it: Sam Smith is the one who took the place of what could have been the best Bond theme song, a.k.a. Spectre by Radiohead. So, Spectre.
Breaking out in Gregorian Rock for the intro. A niche market. It might have legs.
Prince was the same when he was a little kid he could play Everything a little child genius looks like this little stars going to go a long way
Where's the link dude?
To what?
Not the strongest vocal, but it's a good song.
Talented girl 👍

Hi Justin! We’re a band from Sheffield, do you have any tips on recording for us? Our demos are up on our channel. Cheers man we love ya!! ❤
Why are you not coming to Brighton?
It wasn't available for those dates, we tried.
If I’m right I’m sure I read that it’s about depression
A young child in the world of entertainment. What could possibly go wrong?
Or right? She could end up being the next Joe Bonamassa or Derek Trucks.
Whay do you think of Rock n Grohl and Unicorn?
