one great thing about episode 12 is that we finally got to see Blake's Aura colour (purple). Yang has purple eyes and a yellow/golden Aura, Blake has yellow/golden eyes and a purple Aura. eyes are the window to the soul, Aura is a manifestation of the soul Yang and Blake are soulmates
Plus before, they saw the robot. As Ozoin said before, if that the size of the defense, what are we depending against. They saw the robot, felt the battle, and that made fear more.
If you want to cry some more, imagine Crow wasn't seeing Ruby when she said trust me. I truly think in that moment he saw Summer Rose saying that exact thing.
this is THE episode, one of the few times we see someone legit DIE. and a lot of people say "no body means prob no death" after seeing cinder live through ravens attacks. but we all know Adam fucking got stabbed 2 times in the stomach, THROUGH his stomach and then like broke his fuckin back on the rock falling Mans is dead Amen
And then fell in rapid waters. With a broken Aura. Even if he somehow went unconscious, he definitely drowned. While I would have liked to delve more into his backstory after the SDC branding scar reveal, it was a fitting end for him and it should stay that way.
V7 and V8 have some great action set-pieces, but Blake and Yang vs Adam here in V6 is still my favorite fight of the whole series thus far. Stakes are high, the emotions are rampant, and the choreography is excellent.
From what other commenters have said, apparently the fight with Adam was supposed to take place at the Fall of Beacon but they went with cutting off Yang's arm instead. Apparently the choreography was done by Monty. They just changed the graphics to the new engine for this fight. It definitely had the Monty feel behind it.
I've watched this season so many times and everytime I tear up when Adam is verbally abusing Blake but not because of what he's saying but the moment Blake calls him delusional I can just feel it in my soul as if I was in her place and its just so impactful to me
When ruby and co were fighting cordovin argus felt quakes and could hear the battle. All that fear and negativity probably attracted the leviathan from deeper waters. Also I feel like cordovins last your fault was directed at her self judging for the look on her face and that she didn't shout it at them. That is also probably why she turned and helped rwby and co.
Honestly love this Volume's ending because it feels like the our Team's are as close they've ever been. Team JNPR finally addresses Pyrrha and even comes to an understanding with Oscar. Team RWBY has grown as a whole. Ruby learns more about her eyes and has some big leadership moments, Weiss is just happy to back and the rest of her team has her back, Blake and Yang get closure and can start looking to the future. Just sets up Vol 7 so well.
Especially when you realize that that's the first time we've really seen her use it to its full potential in the new engine. We've seen her red eyes before now, but this was the first time we saw her hair catch fire, and it looked so good!

We finally made it past Volume 6, we did it!! What an absolute rush of emotions these final three chapters were, it was absolutely insane! There are quite a few highlights in these, like Adam's face reveal. Didn't expect him to have blue eyes (lol), definitely didn't that big burn scar!! It's not just a scar though, it's a branding. "SDC" Hmmmm, haven't we seen that before..? Next, Yang's semblance in the new animation style. Not necessarily a highlight, but it's so cool to see it in the new engine. Like, we haven't seen it since Volume 3, which is pretty crazy. I remember seeing that for the first time and being SO hyped up lmao! Adam's death is probably one of, if not, the biggest highlight here. Not because of him dying, it's because of how it affected Blake AND Yang. I'm not gonna go too deep into this one since you basically talked about it in the vid, but man... It really tore me when I saw Blake start to break down crying. They KILLED a person, another living being like them. That's already shocking in itself, but it being Adam makes it so much sadder. This is going to haunt them for a long while I feel... Last thing I wanna mention is the reveal of SUMMER FREAKING ROSE!!! LIKE BRO, with all of those flashbacks of scenes from the previous volumes with the music in the background building up AND THEN SEEING WHAT SHE LOOKS LIKE???? ABSOLUETLY PHENOMENAL!!! Ruby looks so much like her mother :') Anyways, I wrote a lot so I think it's a good place to end this here. Adam actually deserved the ending he got. He was basically a serial killer after what happened to him. I understand why he was so angry, any mistreated person should be, but he literally stalked Blake and tried to kill Yang just because he wanted her to feel alone. He was a power hungry, abusive asshole who could let go of someone he forced away. Adam wouldn't have stopped until he killed both of them, or they killed him. They did what they had to to be free from the pain he brought. It was tragic but deserved. It is unfortunate that he had to learn the hard way.

First, You were asking about who "summoned" the leviathan. If you go back, you will see that during the fight, the robot hit the shoreline, causing a minor earthquake, and all the people in town started looking worryingly down the coast. Between the fight, and all the people in town worrying about what was going on, it drew in the monster. Second, I have to keep this VERY vague to avoid spoilers, but her evolving and creating grimm is very "zerg-like" from the starcraft universe; taking already powerful strains and re-making them. When added to his comment about "If you want something done right..." it all leads to VERY worrying conclusions.
As far as Volume 9 reactions, definitely wait and do multiple episode livestreams with edits. Rooster Teeth usually releases the episodes a week early for their "FIRST" subscribers, and their policy on reactions as far as I know, is that they're fine with it as long as you wait until it's free for everyone to watch to upload or stream the reaction. Plus, the edits are hilarious and add much needed comedy in stressful moments.
I second this. Even if you don't become a first subscriber and don't get to see it until it comes out for the rest of us, I'd be willing to wait a week to see your reaction with all the edits. (Even the emotionally damaging Pyrrha edits...)

Volume 6 still remains one of my favorites for obvious reasons. The smaller and more character focused narrative, the effective deconstruction of Oz's habit of keeping secrets & Qrow's drinking problem, the introduction of Maria, the big reveals that give us an idea of how big this story really is and making some past moments hit quite differently on rewatch, the Apathy showing just how horrifying the Grimm can be, Neo's stylish return, and Blake & Yang's fight against Adam still remaining one of the most awesome and emotion-packed battles in the series. Plus, the soundtrack is some of the show's best, with Rising still probably being my personal favorite opening theme. Overall, it's fantastic! Can't wait for your reactions to Volume 7!

Actually, it was originally a Mistrali airship that Neo stole on the orders of Cinder, that Neo then camouflaged to look like an Atlesian one. We see just how much strain it put on Neo just to maintain the Atlesian illusion for even a few moments. Likely when they had to disguise the ship to pass through certain points, Neo spent all her energy and effort on it while Cinder piloted, since we know from Volume 1 as well as Ice Queendom that Cinder is a skilled pilot.

Intro 10/10 top-notch xD - The mech fight in 11 really shows how much Huntsmen/Huntress weaponry is aimed towards smaller scale grimm vs. a goliath of a mech (or by extension of logic a goliath of a grimm). Like its possible to do damage but requires noticeably more skill - The greatness of jacket-less Blake (like no hate towards w/ jacket only praise for the look w/o it) - In case anyone didn't catch onto Adam being a controlling abusive sack of expletive, "if only you'd behave" comes in like a wrecking ball to try to pierce through the thick-skulls of certain types (that still failed in some cases as there's still defenders of him to this day). Like everything in that bit showcases full-on how he was during their relationship and one of many reasons for why she left him. - I love that people when these episodes were coming out, legit did frame-by-frame examinations to spot Blake's scar (from 3x11) on her model underneath her jacket xD - Yang tossing Bumblebee into Adam as well as Bumbleby = golden meme xD - I truly will never understand the people that claim how the entire Blake vs. Adam -> Yang vs. Adam -> BB vs. Adam was in any way lacking at all; especially in regards to Adam's skill set cause he was utilizing skills never shown before. He just wasn't the god-mode that certain types headcanoned him as being (cause canon only showed him as fast and having a skill that throws an enemy's own power back at them if they don't know about it). - Love the detail that when Yang is fighting she's able to avoid the PTSD shaking hand, then when there's a break they make a point to show it shaking as her mind isn't distracted anymore. - "Did she make that promise to you or to the person you were pretending to be?" the line that rings so true to Adam being nothing more than a co-opter putting on the front of a fighter of his people. - The first time Blake's aura has ever broken in the series giving a solid look of it and revealing her true color is purple, a color matching to Yang's eyes. Same as Blake's eyes match to the color of Yang's aura. Literal soul-mates, which is taken further in the DC comics xD - "What does she even see in you?!" -from Blake's romantic ex to her current bae and yet there were people that still tried to deny BB being canon xD - The return of flame-haired Yang, which hadn't been done before this point cause the crew were trying to figure out how to get it to work; then got it and it looks so damn good xD - Hallelujah the bastard is dead (in self-defense which has to be stated else Adam stains claiming they murdered him) - I mean even if you were laughing at him being dead, I'd say that'd be fine cause he was an abusive bastard xD Also since I dunno if you'll read the comics so will mention now that everything is out there to the point of this volume's info: WF comrades of Adam and Blake's get killed and he's shown crying, not because of them dying but out of anger that by dying it means they can't kill more people. That's the level of deranged he was and how little he cared about his people in reality, which is why I really find it hard to feel anything for him other than seeing him as a bastard. Sienna on the other hand, god what I'd give to have had her with more time >.< - Was wondering if that destiny line would be noticed xD - To the question about what attracted the grimm: Cordovin + RWBY & Co. + the Lamp's inherent attraction - YES the Indomitable scene that I was waiting for! It gets everyone xD Just to add onto (though I'm sure there's plenty of people already mentioning it) the song "Indomitable" when Ruby goes silver-eyes on the Leviathan is one dedicated to/inspired by Monty and a quote of his talking about the human spirit being indomitable. - Also get ready for a vocal upgrade for Qrow cause his new & current VA starts in v7 and Jason is awesome - Also if going to do extras for the OST live stream, I'd float Gio Navas "Black and Gold" since you're now caught up to when that song was put out

I wouldn‘t doubt that Cordovin‘s anger and negative feelings alone attracted the Leviathan and the flood of Grimms, but it was probably also a combination of the uproar that Cordovin created that unsettled and scared the whole town (since the reason the big robot is being used is because of great dangers, it may or may not be the first time it was put in action tho), therefore attracting the Grimm.

so fun fact: volume 6 was originally planned to be 14 episodes long, but due to the need to build resources and stuff for a single episode, they shifted that 14th episode to be the first episode of volume 7, leaving volume 6 on the note of them arriving at Atlas
God, no matter how many times I see it, that whole death scene still hurts. It's the first time our protags truly kill someone with blood and all to show it. Not to mention Adam's shocked expression and that "... Oh." just really resonates with ya. We feel the same shock he does, except we, as well as Blake and Yang, now gotta live with it. Rest in Peace, Best Bull Boi. On a more light-hearted note, I'm surprised that "... Oh." hasn't become a meme in the fanbase.

Summer Rose, in one perfect moment. She was a toddler when summer died. She wouldn't have had that memory. Jinn's gift was just what she needed to know, just when she needed to know it. Oh btw! The Adam vs yang choreography was originally modeled off some early version Monty had played around with the two fighting! The crew alone has grown so much when it comes to the fight scenes, their progression is so good to watch!
Ok a lot to bring up here. The hard light dust made for those shields is the most expensive dust and what Velvet uses to make weapons. Part of this fight choreography comes from Monty. Who had animated a full on fight between Yang blake and Adam for volume three til it was changed and redone here. Adam carries the scar of the SDC branding on his eye from his time as a slave in the mines. Adam's semblance let's him absorb energy from any part of his body and release it however he moves and shapes it. He just uses his sword to avoid damage to his aura. Adam got literally run over by Bumblebee. You saw another application of Jaune's semblance when he boosted his aura defense over himself and Nora to tank that hit. The song that plays when Ruby uses her silver eyes is called Indomitable. It's based on a poem called Indomitable Spirit that Monty wrote about his mom after she passed. Hence the image of Ruby and her mom inspiring her. Also the use of the drill is in honor of Monty's favorite anime Guren Laggan. Which finished off enemies in the same way. Something he always wanted to pay homage to.
Volume 6 is one of my favorites because best girl Ruby gets a bit more spotlight, and the Brunswick Farms mini arc is great as well. But volume 7 is even better... and volume 8 is even better than that. And given how long volume 9 has been taking, I'm sure it'll be a damn masterpiece. So basically, a lot to look forward to. Side note, gotta defend my girl. Ruby missed the shot because Cordovin saw her taking aim and lowered the rockets at the last second. If her mech didn't have Zoom and Enhance, she would've had that!

I know a lot of people thought the, *he's now just on a Psycho Ex* was the wrong way to go with Adam.... But having gone back and re-watched the show many time now, and watching the path of Adam, it's makes plenty sense to me! 👍 People can still not like it, which is a personal thing for them to feel/think and that's fine, nothing is wrong with that👍 I'm just saying that it all tracks.. I love how the Summer reveal is completely unexpected. All the scenes up to that point were reworked frames from the show that were flying by faster and faster. The music is building, and right at it crescendo, everyone is expecting Ruby to laserbeam Lenny. But CRWBY was like NAH! They hit us with a music break, showed a fully animated scene of Summer Rose, and transitioned back to Ruby's eyes before blasting Lenny and "Indomitable" kicks in! MAAAAN 😩😩 Also the last thing Ruby thinks of when she fails and then succeeds is Penny. 😭

at around 29 minutes - one thing that's not made super clear through the volume is that the timeline of RWBY and co's story is before everyone elses (Hazel, Em & Merc and Cinder and Neo) chapter 1 establishes that for RWBY and co it's been two weeks since the volume 5 finale (and the volume itself only spans a few days).. when Cinder rolls into Lil Miss Malachite's territory, the news report says it's been a month since that after Cinder's first meeting with Malachite (when she's told to come back a week later), one of the Spiders says that someone ('the big guy') already came asking about RWBY a week before (which is how Hazel knew they were taking the Lamp to Atlas, he, and Merc stopped through there first before going back to Salem) and then Cinder and Neo team up a week later and start heading to the Solitas continent where the Kingdom of Atlas is located some time after so Cinder's at least three weeks behind RWBY and company at this point
the blip on the radar was the Leviathan itself, it was drawn in by the panic in Argus caused by the fighting because Cordo insisted on using maximum force to prove a point

When Ruby silver-eye blasts the Leviathan that soaring instrumental is the most Disneyesque sounding Finale in all of RWBY.....it makes me tear up involuntarily.
Bro you've been my fav RWBY reaction-er recently and it's only went up from the way you take time to analyse, love it. Most people just hate on Adam for who he is, but it's nice to see people that find him interesting or at least try and look at things from his point of view. Still wish RT made him more of a ruthless antagonist though, instead of just being obsessed with Blake.

I just want you to know, there were some adam fanatics who truly believed adam could have taken on everyone at once. Dude couldn't handle two highschool girls and they believed he could have fought everyone at once. LMAO Imo, adam would have just be fodder for Qrow, much less everyone fighting him all at once.
So a few things to notice: Yang hitting Adam with the bike: Adam literally got run over by Bumblebee :P - the symbolism in that Ruby didnt miss the shot - Cordovan closed the rocket launcher to dodge it. I love how Jaune used his Aura Amp to save Nora from getting destroyed by the hit The red dot we see is not Cinder+Neo but Lenny the Leviathan, Cinder and Neo are quite far behind timeline wise so the Team should be in Atlas for quite a while before Cinder related things of this volume even happened. The Grimm werent attracted by Cordovan's emotions but the emotions of the people in the city - they had no idea what was going on but they could hear the battle and feel the trembles - more than enough to cause quite a spike in panic and anxiety. I absolutely love the scene where Ruby uses her silver eyes - its my favourite scene of the entire show so far. There is an ongoing theory that what Jhinn meant by "just this once I shall give you knowledge for free" was allowing Ruby to see the face of her mother clearly (she was very young when Summer died so such a vivid mental image would likely be impossible otherwise). Sadly we dont get treated to the Indomitable in the triumphant epic version used in this episode - its absolutely amazing and quite a shame we only get 30 seconds. Thats about it for this one, I am onto the OST :P

The wonderful yeet! Lmaoo this volume has so many moments that answer questions by further creating more questions. Unfortunately, we don't learn really anything else about Adam (yet at least) but imo he served his purpose & he got tragic ending his character deserved. The leviathan & co. approached because of the animosity from their fight & the fear it was causing the people in Argus to feel. Cordovin was spewing negativity & it was terrifying the people. The leviathan is what is seen approaching on the monitor, Jaune mentions the mech Cordo is using is for "large Grimm that come from deeper waters" Atlas arc is an insane rollercoaster ride & the animation game continues to grow beautifully every volume 😍. Alright. I'd say until this point there was still a slim chance you wouldn't fully enjoy the new face that RWBY created for itself past the beacon era, which was a major reason why many people dropped the series after volumes 4 and 5. You seemed to have enjoyed volumes 4 and 5 a lot tho, however I wanted to be sure you'd also like volume 6, and I'm happy that you did because this is a top tier volume for me. So many great moments. Seeing the relic's power. Salem's and Ozpin's backstory is the most unique episode in the series and it dives deeper in the mysteries of remnant (even if we who are caught up to the whole series know the hole just goes way deeper than we thought by this point). The reluctancy of the whole team before they face the new steps of their journey. The Apathy arc is really great and also an unique experience to the series. Adam vs Yang and Blake is one of the best fights in the series, some may disagree, but that's what I think. A concise and memorable entry to this big journey. From now on the Atlas arc (V7 and 8) will be...how can I put this...just get a new mug for your coffee and tears and buy a new chair already, two even (not even kidding, you've been warned)
Hey there Ghost, Congrats on finishing off V6. What a roller coaster. 🙂 So, concerning 14:28, the red dot on the radar. As you might have figured out by now, (if not, here is a little explanation) that was the leviathan grimm. When Cordovin left the base with the large mech, ALL of the citizens of Argus saw it and started to get worried. Why bring out the large mech? Was there a leviathan grimm that they couldn't see? Then you had, 5:37, where the citizens could hear the additional commotion. An entire city starting to get negative emotions = leviathan HUNGRY! 24:00 There were some in the FNDM that would have preferred that the writers took Adam in a different route, they didn't like that they turned him into a jealous stalker. I'm sure you could probably find some different fan fictions that are out there. I'm sure there are probably videos out there that says "How I fixed RWBY blah blah blah", but at the end of the day, its what the writers locked in with. Was that the fate that they imagined when they were outlining the story in the beginning? Or was it changed after Monty passed away? I'm still holding to the belief that Miles and Kerry are still holding to the original outline. Sure there might have been some changes, as some stories don't always survive the first draft, but if they had concepts like the Apathy since V1, they are doing what they can to hold. 33:40 Ahhhh... Now, I don't know the full story, because it started getting REALLY messy at the time. Vic fans rushed to defend him, people rushed to defend the victims, so it got ugly fast. From what I understand the charges against Vic were dropped. Now, does that mean that the evidence was faked? Was it true, but couldn't be fully proven? Did Vic really sexually manipulate someone? Not sure. But Rooster Teeth wanted to distance themselves of what could have been potentially a disaster, if true. I don't really blame them. Any business would do the same, UNLESS they knew EXACTLY what Vic did and didn't do. Actually, the story behind the court appeal case is that Vic sued his most vocal accusers for defamation, but the charges were thrown out. It doesn't necessarily mean that he did the things they said he did, it just means the appeal didn't go through for them and they didn't feel it warranted taking it to full on court. It has been said that defamation cases hardly get anywhere.

V7 and V8 have some great action set-pieces, but Blake and Yang vs Adam here in V6 is still my favorite fight of the whole series thus far. Stakes are high, the emotions are rampant, and the choreography is excellent.
From what other commenters have said, apparently the fight with Adam was supposed to take place at the Fall of Beacon but they went with cutting off Yang's arm instead. Apparently the choreography was done by Monty. They just changed the graphics to the new engine for this fight. It definitely had the Monty feel behind it.

I've watched this season so many times and everytime I tear up when Adam is verbally abusing Blake but not because of what he's saying but the moment Blake calls him delusional I can just feel it in my soul as if I was in her place and its just so impactful to me
When ruby and co were fighting cordovin argus felt quakes and could hear the battle. All that fear and negativity probably attracted the leviathan from deeper waters. Also I feel like cordovins last your fault was directed at her self judging for the look on her face and that she didn't shout it at them. That is also probably why she turned and helped rwby and co.
Honestly love this Volume's ending because it feels like the our Team's are as close they've ever been. Team JNPR finally addresses Pyrrha and even comes to an understanding with Oscar. Team RWBY has grown as a whole. Ruby learns more about her eyes and has some big leadership moments, Weiss is just happy to back and the rest of her team has her back, Blake and Yang get closure and can start looking to the future. Just sets up Vol 7 so well.

There was literally nothing Yang could have done different in V3 with the information and circumstances she had at the time.
We finally made it past Volume 6, we did it!! What an absolute rush of emotions these final three chapters were, it was absolutely insane! There are quite a few highlights in these, like Adam's face reveal. Didn't expect him to have blue eyes (lol), definitely didn't that big burn scar!! It's not just a scar though, it's a branding. "SDC" Hmmmm, haven't we seen that before..? Next, Yang's semblance in the new animation style. Not necessarily a highlight, but it's so cool to see it in the new engine. Like, we haven't seen it since Volume 3, which is pretty crazy. I remember seeing that for the first time and being SO hyped up lmao! Adam's death is probably one of, if not, the biggest highlight here. Not because of him dying, it's because of how it affected Blake AND Yang. I'm not gonna go too deep into this one since you basically talked about it in the vid, but man... It really tore me when I saw Blake start to break down crying. They KILLED a person, another living being like them. That's already shocking in itself, but it being Adam makes it so much sadder. This is going to haunt them for a long while I feel... Last thing I wanna mention is the reveal of SUMMER FREAKING ROSE!!! LIKE BRO, with all of those flashbacks of scenes from the previous volumes with the music in the background building up AND THEN SEEING WHAT SHE LOOKS LIKE???? ABSOLUETLY PHENOMENAL!!! Ruby looks so much like her mother :') Anyways, I wrote a lot so I think it's a good place to end this here. Adam actually deserved the ending he got. He was basically a serial killer after what happened to him. I understand why he was so angry, any mistreated person should be, but he literally stalked Blake and tried to kill Yang just because he wanted her to feel alone. He was a power hungry, abusive asshole who could let go of someone he forced away. Adam wouldn't have stopped until he killed both of them, or they killed him. They did what they had to to be free from the pain he brought. It was tragic but deserved. It is unfortunate that he had to learn the hard way.

First, You were asking about who "summoned" the leviathan. If you go back, you will see that during the fight, the robot hit the shoreline, causing a minor earthquake, and all the people in town started looking worryingly down the coast. Between the fight, and all the people in town worrying about what was going on, it drew in the monster.
Second, I have to keep this VERY vague to avoid spoilers, but her evolving and creating grimm is very "zerg-like" from the starcraft universe; taking already powerful strains and re-making them. When added to his comment about "If you want something done right..." it all leads to VERY worrying conclusions.
As far as Volume 9 reactions, definitely wait and do multiple episode livestreams with edits. Rooster Teeth usually releases the episodes a week early for their "FIRST" subscribers, and their policy on reactions as far as I know, is that they're fine with it as long as you wait until it's free for everyone to watch to upload or stream the reaction. Plus, the edits are hilarious and add much needed comedy in stressful moments.
I second this. Even if you don't become a first subscriber and don't get to see it until it comes out for the rest of us, I'd be willing to wait a week to see your reaction with all the edits. (Even the emotionally damaging Pyrrha edits...)

Volume 6 still remains one of my favorites for obvious reasons. The smaller and more character focused narrative, the effective deconstruction of Oz's habit of keeping secrets & Qrow's drinking problem, the introduction of Maria, the big reveals that give us an idea of how big this story really is and making some past moments hit quite differently on rewatch, the Apathy showing just how horrifying the Grimm can be, Neo's stylish return, and Blake & Yang's fight against Adam still remaining one of the most awesome and emotion-packed battles in the series. Plus, the soundtrack is some of the show's best, with Rising still probably being my personal favorite opening theme. Overall, it's fantastic! Can't wait for your reactions to Volume 7!

Actually, it was originally a Mistrali airship that Neo stole on the orders of Cinder, that Neo then camouflaged to look like an Atlesian one. We see just how much strain it put on Neo just to maintain the Atlesian illusion for even a few moments. Likely when they had to disguise the ship to pass through certain points, Neo spent all her energy and effort on it while Cinder piloted, since we know from Volume 1 as well as Ice Queendom that Cinder is a skilled pilot.
The part where she blows up the cannon gives me shivers each time

- The mech fight in 11 really shows how much Huntsmen/Huntress weaponry is aimed towards smaller scale grimm vs. a goliath of a mech (or by extension of logic a goliath of a grimm). Like its possible to do damage but requires noticeably more skill
- The greatness of jacket-less Blake (like no hate towards w/ jacket only praise for the look w/o it)
- In case anyone didn't catch onto Adam being a controlling abusive sack of expletive, "if only you'd behave" comes in like a wrecking ball to try to pierce through the thick-skulls of certain types (that still failed in some cases as there's still defenders of him to this day). Like everything in that bit showcases full-on how he was during their relationship and one of many reasons for why she left him.
- I love that people when these episodes were coming out, legit did frame-by-frame examinations to spot Blake's scar (from 3x11) on her model underneath her jacket xD
- Yang tossing Bumblebee into Adam as well as Bumbleby = golden meme xD
- I truly will never understand the people that claim how the entire Blake vs. Adam -> Yang vs. Adam -> BB vs. Adam was in any way lacking at all; especially in regards to Adam's skill set cause he was utilizing skills never shown before. He just wasn't the god-mode that certain types headcanoned him as being (cause canon only showed him as fast and having a skill that throws an enemy's own power back at them if they don't know about it).
- Love the detail that when Yang is fighting she's able to avoid the PTSD shaking hand, then when there's a break they make a point to show it shaking as her mind isn't distracted anymore.
- "Did she make that promise to you or to the person you were pretending to be?" the line that rings so true to Adam being nothing more than a co-opter putting on the front of a fighter of his people.
- The first time Blake's aura has ever broken in the series giving a solid look of it and revealing her true color is purple, a color matching to Yang's eyes. Same as Blake's eyes match to the color of Yang's aura. Literal soul-mates, which is taken further in the DC comics xD
- "What does she even see in you?!" -from Blake's romantic ex to her current bae and yet there were people that still tried to deny BB being canon xD
- The return of flame-haired Yang, which hadn't been done before this point cause the crew were trying to figure out how to get it to work; then got it and it looks so damn good xD
- Hallelujah the bastard is dead (in self-defense which has to be stated else Adam stains claiming they murdered him)
- I mean even if you were laughing at him being dead, I'd say that'd be fine cause he was an abusive bastard xD Also since I dunno if you'll read the comics so will mention now that everything is out there to the point of this volume's info: WF comrades of Adam and Blake's get killed and he's shown crying, not because of them dying but out of anger that by dying it means they can't kill more people. That's the level of deranged he was and how little he cared about his people in reality, which is why I really find it hard to feel anything for him other than seeing him as a bastard. Sienna on the other hand, god what I'd give to have had her with more time >.<

I wouldn‘t doubt that Cordovin‘s anger and negative feelings alone attracted the Leviathan and the flood of Grimms, but it was probably also a combination of the uproar that Cordovin created that unsettled and scared the whole town (since the reason the big robot is being used is because of great dangers, it may or may not be the first time it was put in action tho), therefore attracting the Grimm.

Ok a lot to bring up here. The hard light dust made for those shields is the most expensive dust and what Velvet uses to make weapons.
Part of this fight choreography comes from Monty. Who had animated a full on fight between Yang blake and Adam for volume three til it was changed and redone here.
Adam carries the scar of the SDC branding on his eye from his time as a slave in the mines.
Adam's semblance let's him absorb energy from any part of his body and release it however he moves and shapes it. He just uses his sword to avoid damage to his aura.
Adam got literally run over by Bumblebee.
You saw another application of Jaune's semblance when he boosted his aura defense over himself and Nora to tank that hit.
The song that plays when Ruby uses her silver eyes is called Indomitable.
It's based on a poem called Indomitable Spirit that Monty wrote about his mom after she passed. Hence the image of Ruby and her mom inspiring her.

Volume 6 is one of my favorites because best girl Ruby gets a bit more spotlight, and the Brunswick Farms mini arc is great as well. But volume 7 is even better... and volume 8 is even better than that. And given how long volume 9 has been taking, I'm sure it'll be a damn masterpiece. So basically, a lot to look forward to.
Side note, gotta defend my girl. Ruby missed the shot because Cordovin saw her taking aim and lowered the rockets at the last second. If her mech didn't have Zoom and Enhance, she would've had that!

I love how the Summer reveal is completely unexpected. All the scenes up to that point were reworked frames from the show that were flying by faster and faster. The music is building, and right at it crescendo, everyone is expecting Ruby to laserbeam Lenny. But CRWBY was like NAH! They hit us with a music break, showed a fully animated scene of Summer Rose, and transitioned back to Ruby's eyes before blasting Lenny and "Indomitable" kicks in! MAAAAN 😩😩
Also the last thing Ruby thinks of when she fails and then succeeds is Penny. 😭

at around 29 minutes - one thing that's not made super clear through the volume is that the timeline of RWBY and co's story is before everyone elses (Hazel, Em & Merc and Cinder and Neo)
chapter 1 establishes that for RWBY and co it's been two weeks since the volume 5 finale (and the volume itself only spans a few days).. when Cinder rolls into Lil Miss Malachite's territory, the news report says it's been a month since that
after Cinder's first meeting with Malachite (when she's told to come back a week later), one of the Spiders says that someone ('the big guy') already came asking about RWBY a week before (which is how Hazel knew they were taking the Lamp to Atlas, he, and Merc stopped through there first before going back to Salem)
and then Cinder and Neo team up a week later and start heading to the Solitas continent where the Kingdom of Atlas is located some time after
so Cinder's at least three weeks behind RWBY and company at this point
the blip on the radar was the Leviathan itself, it was drawn in by the panic in Argus caused by the fighting because Cordo insisted on using maximum force to prove a point

Bro you've been my fav RWBY reaction-er recently and it's only went up from the way you take time to analyse, love it.
Most people just hate on Adam for who he is, but it's nice to see people that find him interesting or at least try and look at things from his point of view.
Still wish RT made him more of a ruthless antagonist though, instead of just being obsessed with Blake.

I just want you to know, there were some adam fanatics who truly believed adam could have taken on everyone at once. Dude couldn't handle two highschool girls and they believed he could have fought everyone at once. LMAO
Imo, adam would have just be fodder for Qrow, much less everyone fighting him all at once.
So a few things to notice:
Yang hitting Adam with the bike: Adam literally got run over by Bumblebee :P - the symbolism in that
Ruby didnt miss the shot - Cordovan closed the rocket launcher to dodge it.
I love how Jaune used his Aura Amp to save Nora from getting destroyed by the hit
The red dot we see is not Cinder+Neo but Lenny the Leviathan, Cinder and Neo are quite far behind timeline wise so the Team should be in Atlas for quite a while before Cinder related things of this volume even happened.
The Grimm werent attracted by Cordovan's emotions but the emotions of the people in the city - they had no idea what was going on but they could hear the battle and feel the trembles - more than enough to cause quite a spike in panic and anxiety.
I absolutely love the scene where Ruby uses her silver eyes - its my favourite scene of the entire show so far. There is an ongoing theory that what Jhinn meant by "just this once I shall give you knowledge for free" was allowing Ruby to see the face of her mother clearly (she was very young when Summer died so such a vivid mental image would likely be impossible otherwise). Sadly we dont get treated to the Indomitable in the triumphant epic version used in this episode - its absolutely amazing and quite a shame we only get 30 seconds.

There's a great fan theory on the Summer Rose reveal scene - Ruby was replaying happy memories (in that awesome drawn graphics style) but then we switch to the regular animation style for a scene that couldn't be from Ruby's memory... so the leading theory it was Jinn who slid that in there to help push Ruby over the edge!

The wonderful yeet! Lmaoo this volume has so many moments that answer questions by further creating more questions. Unfortunately, we don't learn really anything else about Adam (yet at least) but imo he served his purpose & he got tragic ending his character deserved.
The leviathan & co. approached because of the animosity from their fight & the fear it was causing the people in Argus to feel. Cordovin was spewing negativity & it was terrifying the people. The leviathan is what is seen approaching on the monitor, Jaune mentions the mech Cordo is using is for "large Grimm that come from deeper waters"
Atlas arc is an insane rollercoaster ride & the animation game continues to grow beautifully every volume 😍.
Also, volume 6 ost is amazing! Indomitable is a beautiful homage to Monty & forever will make me cry! Lol enjoy!

Alright. I'd say until this point there was still a slim chance you wouldn't fully enjoy the new face that RWBY created for itself past the beacon era, which was a major reason why many people dropped the series after volumes 4 and 5. You seemed to have enjoyed volumes 4 and 5 a lot tho, however I wanted to be sure you'd also like volume 6, and I'm happy that you did because this is a top tier volume for me. So many great moments. Seeing the relic's power. Salem's and Ozpin's backstory is the most unique episode in the series and it dives deeper in the mysteries of remnant (even if we who are caught up to the whole series know the hole just goes way deeper than we thought by this point). The reluctancy of the whole team before they face the new steps of their journey. The Apathy arc is really great and also an unique experience to the series. Adam vs Yang and Blake is one of the best fights in the series, some may disagree, but that's what I think. A concise and memorable entry to this big journey.
From now on the Atlas arc (V7 and 8) will be...how can I put this...just get a new mug for your coffee and tears and buy a new chair already, two even (not even kidding, you've been warned)

So, concerning 14:28, the red dot on the radar. As you might have figured out by now, (if not, here is a little explanation) that was the leviathan grimm. When Cordovin left the base with the large mech, ALL of the citizens of Argus saw it and started to get worried. Why bring out the large mech? Was there a leviathan grimm that they couldn't see? Then you had, 5:37, where the citizens could hear the additional commotion. An entire city starting to get negative emotions = leviathan HUNGRY!
24:00 There were some in the FNDM that would have preferred that the writers took Adam in a different route, they didn't like that they turned him into a jealous stalker. I'm sure you could probably find some different fan fictions that are out there. I'm sure there are probably videos out there that says "How I fixed RWBY blah blah blah", but at the end of the day, its what the writers locked in with. Was that the fate that they imagined when they were outlining the story in the beginning? Or was it changed after Monty passed away? I'm still holding to the belief that Miles and Kerry are still holding to the original outline. Sure there might have been some changes, as some stories don't always survive the first draft, but if they had concepts like the Apathy since V1, they are doing what they can to hold.

As CrimsonXE already mentioned, the voice actor for Qrow changes for V7. You see, there were allegations that the original voice actor, Vic Mignogna, was grooming, sexually abusing/manipulating fans of his. Some came forward saying that they had evidence. Rooster Teeth was concerned about the allegations, and potentially believable evidence at the time, and let Vic go. Now, I don't know the full story, because it started getting REALLY messy at the time. Vic fans rushed to defend him, people rushed to defend the victims, so it got ugly fast. From what I understand the charges against Vic were dropped. Now, does that mean that the evidence was faked? Was it true, but couldn't be fully proven? Did Vic really sexually manipulate someone? Not sure.
But Rooster Teeth wanted to distance themselves of what could have been potentially a disaster, if true. I don't really blame them. Any business would do the same, UNLESS they knew EXACTLY what Vic did and didn't do. (But sometimes even your best friends could hold some of the worst secrets... aka Ryan almost a year later)

Actually, the story behind the court appeal case is that Vic sued his most vocal accusers for defamation, but the charges were thrown out. It doesn't necessarily mean that he did the things they said he did, it just means the appeal didn't go through for them and they didn't feel it warranted taking it to full on court. It has been said that defamation cases hardly get anywhere.

I would just like to point out that the fight between Blake and Yang vs Adam is the first time Yang has used her semblance since the fall of Beacon. Also your reaction when they stab him is making me laugh no matter how many times i watch it 🤣🤣
