think that tyranids are like necromorphs from dead space all that we seen to this moment was a small servant units what if there is the BIG ONE like brother moon like tyranid ?
If I made a ‘Nids army, I’d want every model to have visible cock-‘n-balls, call it a “tactical mutation for demoralizing the enemy” (and the more one thinks about that, the worse it gets…see you’re tho long about it, aren’t you???), yet….I wouldn’t want to admit owning such an army.
I can imagine the Big E using his powers making multiple massive fly swatter, flattening every Tyrannids even the Swarm Lord, and casting kilometers long of inferno, disintegrating every while saying "DELETE" multiple times in TTS voice
Nah, he'd manifest a giant star-sized can of that special anti-tyranid bugspray he came up with and just spray the entire swarm with it. And then tell Magnus, Dorn, Kitten and the Pillarstodes "I told you so".
The Silent King would 500% intervene here, if not to save Terra, to deal a devastating blow to de Nids He is after all the one who marked them as the greatest threat to begin with It is complex tho, since we still know far from all that de Nids are capable of
The Necrons have the ultimate deus ex machina in the WH40K galaxy - the Celestial Orrery. If the Nids become more than the fleshies can handle I could see Szarehk novaing non-Necron Nid infested systems.
I get the feeling that every faction in the galaxy would converge on Terra, each with their own reason for fighting the tyrannids, in a massive clusterfuck brawl to out do the first seige
Except for the Tau who wouldn't hear about it for another two hundred years and then they would think that the leader of the Nids was some guy named Horus. 😂
@@seanyoung9014 I doubt the Dark Eldar would come either, they generally avoid fights they don't think they can win. But yeah, the Necrons and Orks definitely, Chaos probably, and it's even possible for a Craftworld or two to show up. And the Harlequins.

To say Terra is the most defended world in the Galaxy is an understatement. A gentle reminder that a SINGLE Custodian Squad took on an ENTIRE Tyranid Splinter fleet. And won!
@@zergrush_9704 a gentle reminder that the norn emissaries were killed by the custodes in the end, it was 3 vs the custodes that were separeted in different locations, one was killed in a duel with valoris, and the others were finished by the custodes, yes 7 custodes perished by the norn emissaries
I imagine that this might be an event that would see the Emperor rise from his throne. So many fearful prayers sent at once would supercharge him and give him the strength to stand and defeat his foes for the first time in centuries.
@@globaloccultcoalition9074 The only worry he’d have would be the webway gate, but I don’t think it’s too out there for Him to station the Custodes in front of it before rising to keep the tide back long enough for him to take care of the Tyranids.
@@morgothable My big theory has always been that enough force could see the Emperor revivified. Here’s how it’d go: Recall all major imperial forces not currently engaged to Terra Call on Mars and have them dig out some dark age tech to fight with Convince the Orks dat da Humie Empra is alive and is gonna krump da Gods in a golden WAAAGH, so that’ll get them in on it. Make overtures with the Tau and convince them to send as many fire warriors to the eternity gate as they can spare. Maybe call on the Ynnari to get the Eldar on board(they’d be the lynchpin, as they could possibly shut the rift before it grew too large to control) Once all the forces are gathered, have them arrayed in terms of deadliness; titans and super weapons at the front, weaker troops and ground forces at the back. Then, disconnect the Emperor. The only thing they’d have to do is weather the resulting shitstorm long enough for the old man to regenerate and clap the daemons himself.
@@michaellococowiDoubt Ferrus and Alpharius will return either. They got killed in the Horus Heresy. Also doubt Conrad Curze returning as he basically suicided.
@redegg7530 There's a passage in one of the books which nods to Malcador being able to bring back Ferrus: Frustrated, Malcador snatched up the Perfection and used it to sweep aside the Iron General. The opposing piece tumbled, the head crowned with sunbeams rolling across the board. ‘Clumsy,’ said Revelation. He picked up the two transmorphic pieces and set them back in the wooden box beside the board. ‘Perhaps I will fix that later when I have time.'
At last, I finally see my purpose! Crystal clear as the waters of an Aeldarii Maiden World. Now I understand why my Father sent me here in the first place. Not to die the inglorious death of a traitor. But as a loyal servant of the Emperor. It all makes sense now. My purpose is clear. No more lies, no more secrets, no more betrayals. There now only remains peace, this abomination standing in front of me, and this mine strapped to my chest. -last words of an alpha legionaire before charging to his death shouting "For the Emperor!" I feel like Constantine Valdor would also return with those armies he was amassing this whole time, apparently. I doubt the first Captain General would just sit there and not preform his duty to protect his Emperor.
Too bad that theory was murdered by a novel Mirror crack'ddd. Plus the fact that Fulgrims soul is not anywhere around the snake hes become since he traded that away for a fragment of slaneesh when he became a daemon prince just like Magnus did with his noble shard he could not find, forcing him to accept a replacement from Tzeentch.
I think that if The Silent King got a whiff of whats coming, he would order the celestial orrery to actually be utilized in offensive way just this once, because any backlash would be better than terra nom nomed by nids. A single star exploded into supernova near the gathering super hive fleet would be entirely unexpected by the hive mind and would be absolutely devastating.
I'd love it if he did show up then was hit by some dark age weapon that finally banished him, or maybe just the demon within him and he had a moment of peace, of realisation.
@@RorikH Yes, the Emperor and his weapons can perma kill Demons but it does depend on the power of the demon, however the Emperors own sword might be enough for Angron.
I feel like certain chaos legions might actually come to the defense of terra to, theres a few books where chaos temporarily allies with the imperium (by not shooting eachother) to fight of the nids.
The moment a legitimate enemy force steps foot on Terra, it's over for them. Especially if given time to prepare, so many worlds would be abandoned by Imperial forces to rally in and near the Sol system. The shadow in the warp is a great tool of the nids, but with literally billions of psykers and navigators watching and premonition-ing , getting directly into the system would be impossible. The full might of hundreds of chapters, not to mention the Black Templars and Death Watch with their swelled numbers, I honestly think they might out-horde the nids. If they do make landfall, anywhere near the palace, that's when Rogal returns, nobody touches his precious defenses. Imagine a swarm-lord or emissary leaps out at an Imperial Fist defensive line, suddenly the entire battle field sees an oversized drop pod plummeting to the ground, the doors open and the cacophony of battle is drowned out by a revving of Storm's Teeth, and the Praetorian himself charges forward. That or he's been in the Palace's basement this whole time, devising new defensive measures. In which case, the doors of the palace open, and the cacophony of battle is drowned out by Storm's Teeth, and the Praetorian himself charges forward. Side note of a wacky idea I just had. Imagine Dorn turned the Imperial Palace itself into a Titan. Like, the swarm is starting to break through, and suddenly the palace just stands up and begins laser blasting everything.
OMG! That would be BADASS! The Palace it'self, a Titan! I think they can pull it off! It'll be something out of that anime, Macross! If they brought back Vulkan, and you know Belesarious Caul (sorry), will be in this too! And the Supreme Grandmaster of the Grey Knights, might be like:' Time to start unlocking s%#@ down here!' The one other with the authority to do so is of course, the leader of the Custodes! OH! Morgan Val, the leader of the entire Sorotas, will be on the front lines too! Another thing, Trazyn has that uncorrupted clone of Fulgrim, he might:' Wakey wakey, time to kill some space bugs!' 🤣
@@MrGorillafist The drop pod descends near the Last Wall, now only the size of a dozen or so chapters due to attrition. Amidst the dust, the sound of a chainblade whirs and bolters fire. Grimaldus: "Who... who are you? Identify yourself!" The dust clears, and a giant in pseudo-Terminator armour shows himself, with an aura of calm, holding back restrained anger. He revs his chainblade once more to get the tyranid gore free from the blades. "It is I, Rogal Dorn. The Enemy has breached our perimeters, and our brothers canot hold. I will reissue my orders from a millennia ago. They are coming. Kill them all"
That would be canon destroying. The palace houses billions. That's like going from a Titan the size of a grain of sand to a titan the size of a house. If they coukd make that, then the imperator would be one of the smallest titans
I love the possible irony of even if the nids eat the emperor having the demons show up from the bowels of the palace as big E was holding that webway portal shut ... assuming that Terra didn't burst into a mini eye of terror from big E biting the dust
Could you do a dedicated video on the Exodit Eldar? Flesh out their lore and infomation? And if you need more video time, perhaps propose ideas on how to expand thier roster
@peterthepeter7523 to be fair Majorkill already does a lot of the work GW should be doing like making modern model lines at non-kidney selling prices as well as re-writing a lot of shitty lore like the end times in fantasy. Majorkill doing somwthing like this could turn out nice
A siege of this scale would give the Imperium sufficient reason to release every diabolical toy that has been locked away. Everything that the Lion has hidden, what the Palace has hidden, including the fully unlocked capabilities of the phalanx (Apparently, the Custodes have been able to unlock sections that have been hidden since the Dark Ages), and the full might of Mars. The galaxy would be able to witness the destructive capabilities of Humanity in the purest form.
Honestly i don't belive the Nids would get half as close as Horus, maybe they will reach Terra, but the sheer bulk of the imperium would be too much. They would have to weaken the imperium for another 10000 years before they could hope to rush Terra
Just imagine humanity pulling out the ol' singularity weapons, since that's a thing mentioned in the fluff that no one ever bothers to talk about. Or the seeker swarms that were said to be able to strip entire planets to the core in hours.
"Oll remembered the horror of entropic engines that ignited planets. Sun-snuffers that uncoiled like serpents the size of Saturn’s rings. Mechnivores ingesting data along with the cities that contained them and hurling continents into the heavens. Omniphage swarms stripping flesh from a billion bones in the blink of an eye. Those were the good old days, when war was something too colossal for a human mind to comprehend." That line seemed appropriate to this comment.
@@thomascranor2668 You mean the ones the Dark Angels used against the great threaths during the great crusade? Cool stuff. They just stood back while the enemy army vanished into a sphere of darkness not sure which novel it was in but a great scene.
I think you can't talk about Terra being attacked by the nids without including all the allies temporary or otherwise that would show up. Terra falling specifically to the tyranids is catastrophic to all other factions. You would see necrons, Eldar, maybe dark Eldar, probably chaos in some form or another, and orks sprinkled throughout to aid in the fight
None of those factions would come to Humanity's aid. The Eldar nor Dark Eldar could beat the Tyranids. The Orcs couldn't beat the Nids and only strengthened them, and the only hope are the fractured and splintered Necrons who might help if The Silent King made them.
@@Red-Check-Mark Yes they would, without a doubt, because its not about "saving humanity" at all. Its about preventing the Tyranids from gaining a massive amount of biomass and god tier genetic material and becoming unstoppable. Not just the genetics of the emperor but also the primarchs, custodes and so on. With humans and most notably Terra and mars falling Specifically to the Tyranids is disastrous and dangerous to everyone else. If the dark eldar, orks, or necrons destroyed Terra it would obviously be a problem but the impact and subsequent danger wouldn't be remotely close to that of a Tyranid win so they probably would recieve minimal aid from other factions in those cases.
@@Red-Check-Mark Chaos will help. Only chaos deserve to kill the emperor, their massive ego would not let any of the other faction kill their nemesis. Khorne at least. The others 3 gonna throw their force inside the battle because why not Good oppurtunity to kill terra, but for that you need to kill the bugs who infect your trophy
Given that many tyranid hive fleets are being moving inexorably towards Terra beautiful light of the astronomicon, it's safe to say that they could be slowly but surely making their way there.
Knowing the Imperium, they are going to make every advance to Holy Terra be as costly as possible. Each step the Tyranids take towards the Homeworld of mankind will be paid in blood.
Only once the "real" hive fleet that would likely make the current in-setting fleets seem like small units. I imagine a real concerted effort on Terra with all resources at their disposal would be something in the billions of ships alone.
Once they reached Mars, I doubt the Void Dragon would let them mess it up and it would probably awaken or do some psychic spaghetti to defeat them at Mars. I also see Chaos trying to get involved and would be a second front that they would have to deal with.
If this happen i think another primarch will be brought back most likely those inside the warp maybe Corvis cause the psychich clash will be very noticable within the warp
i still really want corvis to come back as what is essentially a loyalist demon primarch because that is what his eldritch crow form is. watch guiliman try to decide what the fuck to even do with corvis as you can't really show him off to the imperium at large in his crow form, so guilliman, despite the return of his brother, won't be able to really deploy him and reunite him with his legion officially in fact this would make a good explanation on why corvis hasn't come back. why go back to the imperium where there is paranoia about demons and the whole zealotry thing going on, being unable to really help even with his own legion, when instead he could continue to harass lorgar and keep a relatively powerful and mentally stable traitor primarch out of the game. corvis works best as a warp demon so that might explain why he has chosen not to seek out guiliman or the lion.
@@sovietunion7643 I really hope we get him soon. According to Abbadon, Lorgar is busy doing Stuff, which should mean he´s no longer hiding in his Tower.

A very good video, but you forgot to mention the Tyranids secret weapon, Genestealer Cults, they are already on Terra and would be able to cause a lot of problems for the Imperial side with ambushes and sabotage.
I would find it so very funny if the Tyranids accidentally awaken the Void Dragon by invading Mars. Imagine fighting the full force of the Imperium on one end while a Star Eating god decides to tear your a new rear. Awesome
@@christiandauz3742 just to defend against the Nid swarm probably means the Imperium loses a massive number of worlds vs Chaos. I don't see it ending well no matter how the actual fight plays out.
It'll be funny if the Void Dragon decides to join forces with the Emperor, Ynnead, Khaine (or what's left of him) and the Omnissiah ( born from the Warp) to take the fight to the Tyrranids, Dark Eldar, Orks, and Chaos. Thus, the Ordertide was born.
Speaking of xeno's invading Terra. How about Gazkhulls Waaagh? He is moving to Terra acording to the lore with a big fleet. Does he even have a chance?
Screw it, all the invasions will happen at once! Turn the Sol system into an absolute battleground involving Chaos/Necron/Imperium/Tyranid/Ork/ whoever else we can cram into it. Gazkhull wants a fight, his Waaaagh's going to be worth it.
If the Tyranids managed to eat the Emperor it would either super-charge the Nids or have the Emperor go mano y mano against the Hive Mind... and win, taking control of the Tyranids.
Unfortunately the silent king would not allow that, he would delete terra and steal some of the big Es dna and clone him before the nids reach terra, or steal terra entirely so the nids won’t have any reason to continue
Realistically all it would do is sever the link of the emperor- who exists in the Warp - from realspace, allowing him to battle chaos directly and then return to physical form afterward, in a new body.
Small thing too, the legion of the damned would probably also appear at such a disastrous battle. But that's just a small thought that I had while listening to this video.
Man i love how you narrate these types of scenarios in details taking into account all possibilities from both sides of the faction.plz keep these videos coming.
It would be full on Stellaris Endgame Crisis mode, with old enemies becoming allies, if but for a time. Would be a good time for someone like Magnus to show up and redeem himself randomly, or some Orkz to join in the fighting because that's a really big fight.
Oh yeah, the green skins would absolutely be flocking to terra en mass to get stuck in possibly one of the biggest fights since the war in heaven. It would also be absolutely terrifying. Think of the sheer size of the waagh they’d generate during that battle.
Getting a video about how each of the pre heresy primarchs would have reacted to waking up in Guillimans situation as imperial regent would be pretty cool ngl. Each of their plans to rule and their aspirations would be very interesting to delve deeper into.
Personally i wish we could find out more about the nids, i heard a really cool theory once that they were made by a few surviving “old ones” to be orks 2.0, purging the galaxy of all life so that they can begin again
Imagine the Tyranids actually gaining ground, surrounding the imperial palace and the chances of the imperium are growing smaller by the minute. And just as the battle seems grim, Legions of traitor Primarchs reach Terra and they start fighting the Tyranids. Maybe Fulgrim had an epiphany, maybe Magnus just couldn't leave his father to stand alone, and maybe Perturabo decided that despite everything, the Tyranids should not be allowed to take out Terra. I know it's a very far shot. But would have been beautiful nonetheless.
@@redepkank How about once the invasion is over. the Emperor turns to Perturabo and says: "Well, it seems the imperial palace has taken a lot of damage during the invasion, are you interested in helping me rebuild it?"
A couple of points missing here. The assassin clades are also a factor in this, especially the real heavy hitters like evasore and colexys (Yes I know I'm probably spelling those wrong). In a full-on tyranid invasion, i would expect the assassins would get deployed to take out problematic bugs in such a way that the assassins might have a chance. There is also the fact that there is actually 3 primarchs (possibly 4 depending on what magnus is up to) on terra in this scenario, rogal is obviously hiding in centurian armor behind the throne. But in all seriousness besides the ordo sinister the sisters of silence and the pariah assassins would likely screw with the synapse pretty badly considering that the synapse is a psychic interaction and we know how pariahs screw with psychic stuff. So I could see the imperium throwing its null fighting force at important synapse creatures in order to dampen them and then kill them
This video was by far one of the best ones, for a lot of reasons. Something like this would cause probably cause the return of another primarch and while it would make sense for Dorn to be the one, it’d probably be Russ. Aside from that, a threat like that would also cause the Last Wall Protocol to be enacted and the reformation of the 7th Legion. Another cool possibility would be seeing chaos step in, like how Khornes followers did for the Blood Angels. Best vid yet mate!

My God, it would kick ass so hard. Just imagine, the best the Imperium has to offer present for a galaxy-level last stand against eternal oblivion, dark age weapons unleashed, Eldar and Necron allies protecting the flanks, the Lion standing in front of the eternity gates just like Sanguinius once stood, the Emperor himself spitting holy fire and perhaps finally ascending to godhood.
Here’s a scenario; all Nyds join up and attack Terra. Chaos sees the opportunity to kill the emperor, attacks as well. The Orks show up looking for Angron to avenge Yarrik. The Silent King shows up to get rid of the Nyds. Trazyn is in the background collecting stuff. Khorne is yelling at the microwave to hurry up with the popcorn.
Here is a terrifying thought, what if the whole invasion was a distraction to breach the vaults to find subject ‘XI’ and consume it’s bio mass to create Primarch level of Tyranids
@@SheepyPanda95this is primarch 0 we’re talking about. He may or may not be the strongest primarch out of all of them. The nids would have a hell of a time getting to him and an even worse time when he spergs out and starts killing everything he possibly can.
@majorkill, you're forgetting a few wildcards. 1. You said it yourself that if the bugs did land on terra the blood would be flowing. And Khorne cares not from whence the blood flows, only that it flows for all eternity. All that blood being spilled could cause a similar situation to Baal Primus with Ka'Bandha making another appearance. 2. There are several loyalist Primarchs still unaccounted for. The first that comes to mind is Vulcan. Since he is a perpetual it could be assumed he is still somewhere in the Galaxy, and if he is alive he would definitely come running to save Terra. The next is Russ. Prophecies say he will return during 'The Wolf Time,' or the end of the universe. If the 'Nids make it to Terra it is a pretty set assumption that its the end of the universe, and Russ would come back to stomp some bugs. We know Corax is still alive and hunting Lorgar, and would probably take a hiatus from his brooding/ trolling to save his father and brothers. 3. You mentioned the Necrons under The Silent King. But even without the Silent King there is the possibility that Trazyn would unleash some of his museum to save Terra since the Nids eating the galaxy would render his work pointless. And who knows what he could set lose to fight for terra. 4. Even if it is a slim chance, there is the possibility of Abaddon acting as a pirate to strike at the edges of the Tyranid fleets. His arrogance and hatred for the Imperium would make him want to stop the Tyranids. How could he allow animals to accomplish what he couldn't? The Daemon Primarchs might even intervene for the same reasons. Magnus would at least be intelligent enough to realize what a Tyranid victory could lead to. It's all hypothetical since it is doubtful GW will ever progress to that point in the lore, since it wouldn't be profitable to bring an end to the setting.
I think the goal of the nids is to establish a permanent foothold in the galaxy. A chunck of Nihilus for example turned into nothing but resting places and safe havens for hive-fleets.
There's only been one recorded instance of the Tyranids conquering a system and not leaving shortly afterwards. No one knows what they're doing there, but they didn't eat anything and they have a giant tower.
I will keep asking for this because if there is one thing all 40k factions have in common it’s never giving up: Could you make a video on how someone could permanently kill one of the 4 chaos gods and (more interestingly) what would happen if they did ?
There could also be the possibility that with such a siege, leviathan could some how trigger a galaxy wide genestealer cult uprising. This could cause a major disruption in defensive preparation for Tera.
This makes me wonder how well a Psi-Titan would fare against the Nids. Maybe not well at all because the shadow in the warp would overpower it, but I like to think that it would shine in the darkness and just wreck synapse creatures left and right. I agree with Majorkill btw, Terra is just too well defended. Especially when they start uncorking things from the Black Cells.
Considering it smashed chaos titans like toy soldiers ... I dont think the shadow in the warp would have any effect on the PEAK DARK AGE TECH titan. The second strongest titan ever made after the AI controled ones.
@@MrFallenone So is it peak dark age tech or not? The AI controlled titans would surely also be from the dark age? Anyway IIRC the psi titans were made by the Big E somewhere during the Great Crusade, so most of the really advanced DAOT foundries and manufacturing equipment would no longer be available. Psi titans are disgustingly strong, but I would expect Dark Age technology to still wipe the floor with them tbh. Dark Age humanity could blow up stars without much trouble.
I would like to point out that the hive fleet Tiamat is building a super weapon that either opens a gate the webway or straight up teleports ships to other spots in the galaxy. We know that they never leave their territory and yet randomly throughout the galaxy we have found single ships so far out that it does not make sense as to how they got there. So I propose that the hive fleets will do mostly as said here but a surprise attack will happen with the tiamat fleet warping in near Terra.
The situation could differ exponentially though as that possibility relies heavily on the use of existing bioforms, for example tyranids have started forming psychic bio-ships that drives nearby prey crew mad. And they could have some secret super weapon like the one I believe was hinted in the 10th edition.
The thing is with the Nids is they’re in it for the long game; chipping away a little at a time is the only real tactic to use against an opponent like the imperium that has a multitude of ways to engage you. Chip away from the outside slowly, one system at a time and encircle them.
The geanstealers on earth would do a lot of damage to tera's defenses. The orks would be dawn to the carnage, fighting everyone. And there is chaos to consider. As Abaddon might see the bugs as either a tool, or maybe just another competitor. The dark eldar would use the opportunity to raid as many human worlds as possible. Maybe even helping the hive for a laugh.
If the Tyranids attack Terra it would be a war like that one in Mass Effect 3: EVERY Space Marine Chapter, every Imperial Guard regiment, the Adepta Sororetas, Grey Knights, Inquisiton and the Adeptus Mechanicus would be there with absolutely everything they have. Every Eldar and Tau fleet in the galaxy would band together because the Eldar know that the Empire can't defeat such a meneace on their own and that an alliance is necessary because otherwise they are next on the menu. The Kabals of the Dark Eldar would also band together because their extinction is asured if they do nothing. Every single Orc would attack the Tyranids because the war of all wars has begun. Maybe the Nids accidently wake up some Necron worlds and hopefully the Silent King decides that the utterly annihilation of the Tyranids is necessary. All those factions don't have to fight as one alliance, but they would all fight against one enemy. Humans, Eldar and Tau joining forces is not unlikely since they allready worked together in the past. It certainly gets interesting if every Tyranid in existence attacks terra. And no one knows for sure if the forces of Chaos won't show up.
Awesome video @majorkill! Not that this would change the outcome, but what if the genestealer cults on Terra participated in the sabotage of Terra’s defenses?
Didnt at the begging of the leviathan book a arbiters send a message through the shadow in the warp by connecting a few dozen psykers together and channeling them through a. Single person causing him to rupture every vein in his body. I feel like the strongest psyker in the galaxy who is being fueled by thousands of psykers each day would be able to shine through the shadow in the warp
Imagine the tyranids are about to win and then a swarm of Necron ships, Constantin valdor, the silent king himself, trazyn the infinite, the cacharodons, ghazgull looking to make sure that yarricks legacy is not lost, the legion of the dammed, and Jaghatai Khan all arrive
If it came to breaking the Imperial Palace, the Emperor could just stop holding back the Demons, this would create a third party that could possibly be channeled against nids (and chaos does not provide biomas). This would also in turn free Emperor to do something unexpected... at least my few thoughts as to 'last stand' scanerio option. Also, as you mentioned Mars... up there that C'tan shard could also start acting up with the nids coming close and thus necrons coming in to the fight. Warzone Terra where everyone fights everyone sounds ... let's say interesting 😆
@@Epic_747 Well it's not like we want Chaos to win... they can be a usefull speedbump thou. And hey, if they are weaken then that too could work in favour of Emps getting up from his chair 😃
I feel like this would also be the exact moment nergel would make his move and invade tera, as he has an edge on the nids and given that he'd only have to jump in around the halfway mark even the nid would be weakend and vulnerable, although we all know the talasmin of 7 Hammers would immediately be activated
They could probably get to the Sol system if they consolidated all the fleets but I do agree that in their current state they would be unable to destroy it. The Hive Mind would have to create some new big-dick bioforms for them to stand a chance. And a whole lot of psychic bugs to actually take down the emperor.
Tyranid Hivemind follows a simple but most mathematically efficient philosophy ' Tyranid eat more + tyranid die less = more biomass = victory Then next objective - Fine dining and making a pitstop at Baal , followed by another round of fine dining and repetition of the sequence.
Something you forgot to account for Majorkill: The Genestealers that live on Terra. Those infiltrators could severely handicap the defenders depending on just how widespread they are.
I wish they showed more of the nids' "silent victories". Seriously, it doesn't take much, litteraly just show a few squads investigating why a system has gone silent only for them to find out all planets were turned into lifeless deserts, even better if they find 1 or 2 having the last of their biomass drained by the nids. Even better, Add some ability called "silent victory" or something that makes the enemy risk not being able to bring in extra troops because they contacted a world with no more help available.
I think one thing that was overlooked is that the Hive Mind would make new breeds of Tyranids specifically for this invasion. The Hive Mind has bits and pieces of knowledge of Terra and it's defenses from the various planets it has managed to consume. This is what makes the Tyranids so terrifying, when they eat a planet or sector they come out of it with new information that they'll use on their next prey.
I wonder if the suicide bomb vulcan put in the throne would activate for xenos victory too. Or if it's truly just theyre to say fuck you to chaos specifically
A big point that you missed, is what would happen to the rest of the Imperium if they had to pull ALL of their resources to one system, Chaos, Orks, Tau, Necrons, Dark elves, and the other enemies of the Imperium would see that the forces that were holding them back were gone. They would cause the Imperium to shrink at least a solid 20%
Easy. Crush the siege.. Track and destroy the remnant fleets and unlike the traitors, the tyranids don't have ftl travel to escape or an eye of terror to hide and take shelter thus almost complete annihilation.. And then with the greatest force gathered in the recorded history of the galaxy at the Sol system led by the greatest minds of humanity, we'd see the Great Crusade 2.0.
Just a thought. I once saw Lutien comment on the logistical needs of Terra being sickeningly leviathan in itself. Such that if the supply ships stopped running for even an hour the quintillion population of Terra would plunge into chaos. With the Shadow in the Warp rendering such vast supply lines impossible, and a siege likely lasting weeks if not months, I think this would be the greatest threat that the Nids present. An army cannot fight if they cannot get fresh water and Terra has none of its own. Even primarchs, one imagines, has to have somewhat regular hydration. And they would, no doubt, but within days the vast majority of the guard would be at no capacity to levy a strong defense. And within weeks would be dead to dehydration and starvation. Astartes lasting longer but still, at such numerical levels, supplies are going to be exhausted swiftly and would not be restored. Unless the Craftworlds came to the rescue as logistic lines. And I would speculate that the Nids wouldn’t even bother with any kind of staging maneuver. They already have shown a propensity to attack from above and below the galactic plane. Even existing forces could just do that. Vanish below the plane and attack “from below” against the Sol system. This would ensure a level of surprise and would bypass a potential for being intercepted except by (possibly) the Necrons.
The transport lanes to terra are older than the astronomicon. If it comes down to it, no loyal servant of the emperor would risk holy Terra’s safety simply because they can’t see the astronomican as they are stated in lore to have old navigational charts.
@@mcarrowtime7095 I thought the Shadow in the Warp effect made the transition impossible to effect? If the ships can still make the transition then consider my comment invalid. Though I still think the Nids would invade from outside the plane of the galactic. Which would greatly reduce any capacity to detect the threat before the first outlying attacks were made. Likely to the outer planets at first as the Nids slowed from trans light to sunlight.
@@Mole9961 I'm not well versed in the abilities of the tyrannids, but I've never heard of the shadow completely preventing warp rifts opening. if it completely severed the warp and real space, the sheer presence of the hivemind should banish any Deamons in the local vicinity as they rely on a connection to the warp to exist in real space.
@@Mole9961the existence of sol blades that employ guerrilla warfare against the nids show that warp travel is still possible just very difficult because they can't see the astronomican
This battle would only happen if the Tyranids could trigger the largest Genestealer Cult uprising in IoM history started all over the Sol System, from Pluto to Mars, to Terra and to Mercury. That way the civil war it would trigger would weaken and distract the Imperial forces enough to give the Hive Mind its shot at taking the Sol system. At the same I am convinced both the Dark Angels and Custodies have legions of recovered/mind shackled Men of Iron ready to enter the fight. With the MoI being the most effective force in the battle. Basically a sorta psudo-Necron like Army that the 'Nid's would get stuck against, not knowing how to bypass. Especially as I could see the MoI destroy as much biomass as possible to deny the 'Nids anymore fuel for their attacks. Meaning they would vaporize dead Nid's and possibly civil population that could not be saved all to deny the Swarm.
I'd say that if the tyranids try to invade terra and the sol system directly, I'd say that Lehman Russ or Rogal Dorne will come back to help their brothers and defenders of the sol system.
I feel like at least Khorne and Nurgle would step in to help. The Chaos gods aren’t stupid, they need mortals alive to continue to exist. When they go, the gods go to. You’d see Skarbrand, Mortarion, and Lion go Kowabunga on some space bugs, while Guilliman and tzeentch plan together.
This is why I love 40k. All the races in the galaxy hate each other, but they can start cooperating as soon as it comes to the nids. I would not be surprised to see even the Alpha Legion nudging at the edges of the sol against the nids. Great narrative Majorkill
One the one hand: Yes. On the other hand: The problem with the Tyranids is that they're *just* big space bugs. That's it. It isn't like Starcraft, where being able to leverage direct force is all it takes to win; almost every faction has resources and weapons at their disposal the Tyranids cannot currently match, and in some cases could never hope to. They just adapt to what they find. They don't really create, they barely innovate. The Eldar at their peak could have wiped them out of existence like the plot of Halo but with zero other casualties. If you go by the lore that says the Necrons are scarier even than that, that's even easier. The Dark Eldar could potentially almost accomplish it *right now* . The Devouring Swarm is a classic trope for a reason. But in a setting as awe-inspiring/ridiculous as 40k gets? They're out of their league.
we would get 40k end times, without any of the cool moments something like that would provide. just everyone getting vored and we don't have a setting anymore
@Pyre yeah for sure. Who knows though. With the return of Gman and The Lion quite recently and the addition of Primaris and BC basically committing tech heresy with zero consequences on the daily. A quick question, Did the imperium regular citizens ever wonder why there is only 9 kinds of legions despite some legions having numbers in their insignia/banner like 13th legion, 19th legion, etc?
Most imperial citizens know next to nothing about the space marines, think about trying to understand spec ops as a child and you get the idea, so if they know enough to know about the legions they’d know about the heresy.
You forgot 1 most important thing: the tyranid hive can be directly psicygly atacked, and some spacemariens managed to wound it, if they got the the golden throne, chances are the corps wuld look at them, and thats gg tyranids
Also for a Primarch there's nothing to gloat about or take pride in killing someone who's effectively a space marine.. So nothing would happen.. But as long as Slanesh isn't bored he'd be reborn again.

It's a popular theory but its way too close to the origins of the Flood from Halo so GW would probably make up a different reason to their existence
Perturabo would show up,because no one but but him is allowed to crush terras defences
@@redepkank How about once the invasion is over. the Emperor turns to Perturabo and says: "Well, it seems the imperial palace has taken a lot of damage during the invasion, are you interested in helping me rebuild it?"
He would proberbly say something like this:Oh really father..now you want me to build where is your precious dorn?@@GamingSpoiler
@@redepkank "I can give you his hand so you can challenge it to a duel of siege you whiny bitch, are you going to help me or not??"
So I could see the imperium throwing its null fighting force at important synapse creatures in order to dampen them and then kill them
The assassinorim would definitely take part to help .
Trazyn will use the opportunity to get a new chair and skeleton for his collection.
What if Trazyn secretly help the nids get to the throne so he can steal it. The ultimate distraction

Such an event would call for the return of the best defensive specialist ever to grace the galaxy. Rogal Dorn!
Or they the nids found where the Empire hid Primarch #0 a.k.a The Angel of Death a.k.a the extra chromie son of Big E and ate it.
@@SheepyPanda95this is primarch 0 we’re talking about. He may or may not be the strongest primarch out of all of them. The nids would have a hell of a time getting to him and an even worse time when he spergs out and starts killing everything he possibly can.
@@leafheart3213 problem is that isn't Primarch 0 sleeping and trapped and needs to be awaken is some way?
It is honestly very strange to me that for a godlike being with infinite intellect, the nids haven’t figured out farming yet.
@@danielbob2628The silent King probably staring at the star map trying not to tap it:
@@Guo1234bobthey probably noticed it takes more resources to grow these bio assets than straight up eating them.
@Guo1234bob cause the nids are a bio weapon. From who, where or for what purpose is the question
I will keep asking for this because if there is one thing all 40k factions have in common it’s never giving up:
Could you make a video on how someone could permanently kill one of the 4 chaos gods and (more interestingly) what would happen if they did ?
There could also be the possibility that with such a siege, leviathan could some how trigger a galaxy wide genestealer cult uprising. This could cause a major disruption in defensive preparation for Tera.
Trazyn might make an appearance too. All of those tyranid bioforms and imperial forces would make one hell of a collection.
@@MrFallenone And the Order-Sinister uses some alpha plus level psykers so that's terrifying to think about
@@MrFallenone So is it peak dark age tech or not? The AI controlled titans would surely also be from the dark age?
Anyway IIRC the psi titans were made by the Big E somewhere during the Great Crusade, so most of the really advanced DAOT foundries and manufacturing equipment would no longer be available. Psi titans are disgustingly strong, but I would expect Dark Age technology to still wipe the floor with them tbh. Dark Age humanity could blow up stars without much trouble.
@@wanderhillen2435They are from the machine war
I would like to point out that the hive fleet Tiamat is building a super weapon that either opens a gate the webway or straight up teleports ships to other spots in the galaxy. We know that they never leave their territory and yet randomly throughout the galaxy we have found single ships so far out that it does not make sense as to how they got there. So I propose that the hive fleets will do mostly as said here but a surprise attack will happen with the tiamat fleet warping in near Terra.
Video Idea: How would each Primarch turn out if they were discovered first instead of Horus? (Or publicly discovered in the case of Alpharius.)
This scenario would make for a truly epic movie or series
I can only imagine the skeleton form of the emperor getting up and slaying countless bugs by itself.
A video about times (if any) that guardsmen impressed space marines would be awesome
If the Tyranids attack Terra it would be a war like that one in Mass Effect 3:
EVERY Space Marine Chapter, every Imperial Guard regiment, the Adepta Sororetas, Grey Knights, Inquisiton and the Adeptus Mechanicus would be there with absolutely everything they have.
Bro didn’t even mention the sisters. They’d be burning bugs across all of terra. Celestine would definitely make an appearance
Awesome video @majorkill! Not that this would change the outcome, but what if the genestealer cults on Terra participated in the sabotage of Terra’s defenses?
It would be really cool to see but i think that custodies are so op lore wise gw would just bat the idea away sadly
I love how he is able to say 2 primarchs and trillions of guardsmen in the same sentence as similar powers.
Warzone Terra where everyone fights everyone sounds ... let's say interesting 😆
mass shadow in the warp might severely handicap chaos though

Nids make it to the throne room.
The Emperor - *Stands up*
Nid's - *Die*
I feel like this would also be the exact moment nergel would make his move and invade tera, as he has an edge on the nids and given that he'd only have to jump in around the halfway mark even the nid would be weakend and vulnerable, although we all know the talasmin of 7 Hammers would immediately be activated
Thank you Majorkill for the epic play by play
They could probably get to the Sol system if they consolidated all the fleets but I do agree that in their current state they would be unable to destroy it.
The Hive Mind would have to create some new big-dick bioforms for them to stand a chance. And a whole lot of psychic bugs to actually take down the emperor.
Tyranid Hivemind follows a simple but most mathematically efficient philosophy
' Tyranid eat more + tyranid die less = more biomass = victory
Then next objective - Fine dining and making a pitstop at Baal , followed by another round of fine dining and repetition of the sequence.
"Is the Emperors psychic might enough to keep terra shining in the warp?"
Yes.
@@Mole9961the existence of sol blades that employ guerrilla warfare against the nids show that warp travel is still possible just very difficult because they can't see the astronomican
the doom of malan'tai would finally reappear and have an epic psychic battle with the emperor as reality begins to cave in from their battle.
All genestealer cults would do, especially uprising that large, is raise alarm bells for the imperium
Tyranids: *"HEY KIDS, WANNA SEE A DEAD BODY?!"*
Everyone: "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!"
I think someone already made a video about this but it’s always refreshing to hear it again
What if GW would take the tyranids seriously in the lore?
Abbadon going super saiyan, the nids might be a plot device to push the Emperium into a new age of innovation and more importantly new models.
Oh and there's a big arse waaaaaahg popping off 😅

A quick question, Did the imperium regular citizens ever wonder why there is only 9 kinds of legions despite some legions having numbers in their insignia/banner like 13th legion, 19th legion, etc?
Pretty sure the Heresy is a known event, even if it's more myth than history to most. Think of what you know about legends of King Arthur.
I dont think they have time to think about such details.
