We have the "automatic pay thing" it's the Danish "Brobizz" you saw you could pay with that when you drove over the "storebæltsbro". Btw the reason why we have those "big" bridges is because Denmark is in 3 piecies which all are connected via bridges. ;)
This is true Mark, modern trucks don't produce exhaust smoke. But modders have introduced older trucks into the game. And I for one like driving the older trucks, as I'm sure many others do. Have it as an on/off option for whatever truck your driving. That way it will suit everybody. Cheers.
In Denmark, trucks aren't allowed to overtake on highways and must be on the outer most lane. This is to help the outside lane be used for what is is intended to do, allow faster cars take over. If a truck tries to take over on a highway it will slow all the traffic down.
The roads are to perfect in this game when it rains the roads stay perfect when you deliver to a quarry no mud you never hear the wind blow trucks never break down tires never wear out just general stuff to make the game even more realistic
God i love listening to squirrel trying to pronounce danish stuff XD. I laughed so hard at 20:30 when he tried to say K. Havn which is short for København (Copenhagen) Though it was pretty impressive how he said København at 23:03
19:35 in America those automatic sensor thing are called E-Z passes and that is Z not zed. They are called these in at leased my area (which is in Philadelphia Pennsylvania)
You called the bridge at 17:28 huge, I can't wait to see you get a job in Sweden and hopefully have to cross the Øresund Bridge which links Denmark to Sweden. That bridge is huge xD
trucks go to the right/left side off the tolls because it is classed as the slow lane still and in the uk trucks are only aloud in lanes 1 and 2 on a 3 lane M road
Here in the states we have something called an easypass, there is a special toll gate for it and you just go through. If you don't have an easypass they mail you a bill.
For those who don't want to invest in a wheel (part-time players) you can connect a PS3 controller to this game. Just just enough buttons to use it for 95% of the game and the keyboard covers the rest with the mouse still functional for quick looking movements. I'm on 1.4.8 with the full Europe 3.5 map I think. Not one to be posting vids but have some old .scs mods that still work with the updates (shop/wheels/enginepack). decided to restart with a fresh game and they loaded with no issues.
Squirrel, will you dabble in doing an urgent long (>1500km) delivery in 'hardcore mode'? - No Route Adviser on the move. - Checking the Route Adviser or the map must be done by parking, on the shoulder if needed. - Pathfinding; rely on road signs, taking note of route numbers and cities you'll be heading to or passing by from the map onto a notepad if needed. - Use the truck's dashboard to keep track of speed, sleep and fuel situation. - Don't forget to turn on fatigue simulation Paul.
Ever noticed that you can get on the Ferry, and it's full of vehicles. At the other end, it's just you on the Ferry. What the heck happened to everyone? Alien Abduction is one possibility Also, if moving often between Uk and Europe, would be nice if it auto adjusted Mph for Uk - Kph - for Europe Gotta keep bringing up the options menu Great work Squirrel. Enjoying your vids
Being a truck driver for over 35 years and after playing ETS & ETS2 for some years now I think this game is missing one fundamental thing... Diesel Exhaust Smoke. It would add so much to the atmosphere of the game, afterall, thats what trucks do, expecially under load. Maybe thats a question you could ask the SCS Boss when you have him on your Twitch feed. What do other people think about an Diesel Exhaust Smoke mod? Just a thought. cheers and keep up the good work Paul. :-)
I noticed that , and one more thing i drive into the ferry in the left side but drive out in the left side of the ferry. I Wonder how my truck can get over there, high sea maybe. Keep on truckin, see you on the road.
Squirrel when your reversing at the end there, you can see one of the rear truck wheels turn too :O please mention it in your next "Truckin Nuts" video happy trucking :D
we have those things for the toll roads in australia also. Theyre called E-toll. i think they are trying 2 faze out stopping at toll roads, and have everybody have one of these E toll things 2 ease congestion. ive got one anyway.
Bugs on your windscreen! And you have to use your wipers (if you choose too) Or have an option for water, watch you screen! ;) That would be an idea to have Squirrel :)
Hahah Im laughed my pants off when you "this is the town of Odense to the left" Haha They way you said it would translate to something similare to Oh dense haha. Awesome mate. :)
i think the profile you have should have a 'reward generosity' feature, so if you are low on money, put the slider up and you will get 100's of thousands for a 100km delivery
I live in hull and there's a bridge called the Humber bridge and we have a system like the bridge squirrel described but it scans our registration plate.
I've explained this a number of times but shall do it again. The guy sent me a donation and said "Buy a Logitech G27" with it. So I bought it from logitech . com. I bought it, he paid for it.
bigger engine doesn't necessary mean using more fuel, there was a scania advert in truck & driver with a quote for a haulier who only uses highest horse power scania's because they use less fuel due to not struggling up hills ect
thanks for the scandinavian mod tip -running it now. FWIW Squirrel, I have the same buzz in menu mode since the latest update - so I don't think its electronics - its a software bug.
Most of those are just normal and not combat flight sims which was what I was talking about or did you not get that. DCS if you want more planes is rather pricey.
Squirrel... I know that you don't really like buses, but you should check out OMSI Bus Simulator. It doesn't have graphics as fancy as ETS 2, but it is a perfect simulation of buses. Every button works and you can even control the A/C and open windows. And yes... it works with the G27. PLEASE TRY IT :D It's so good, I paid to have it sent from the UK all the way to NYC!
I'm in the UK and me and all my friends have always pronounced Day Z Day zed rather than day zee as it sounds like daisy. And beta pronounced beeta rather than bayta. But this is just the UK variation of pronunciation compared the the US'.
There is a mod on truckmodshop U can actually open up the trailer doors and see what's inside the trailer idk what it's called though pretty cool though.
Sure, it's easy to make a big list of what should be in the game, but in the real world there are budget and time constraints that force you to prioritize and not develop everything under the sun.
is there a map mod for ETS2 where there are more drivable UK roads like the A24, M23 etc as there are so many missing that i know the lorries go along. Also how do you create your own lorry livery like your custom made channel one, which looks bloody brill btw.
Is there any way to mod the GPS? Like make it better to use only major routes, to list the speed limits on each route, and also maybe a speed cam marker?
the average 8 10 12 cylinder diesel trucks rev up to 2000 -2500 rpm the average 4 cylinder car revs up to 6 even up to 8 thousand rpm the diesel ones maybe 4500 5000 rpm huge difference the average 4 cylinder motorcycle rev up to 12000 even up to 16000 rpm the difference is just crazy
Yes, an underpowered car / truck will use up more fuel if confronted with a bigger load. I have hateful RL experience there with an "economic" Opel (/ Vauxhaul / Holden) I once owned that was severly underpowered and nearly consumed as much as my later (old and battered) Porsche (72PS/HP vs 163PS/HP) And the Opel even had 20 years more of engineering experience in between.
Well, I too drive for a living, 16-22 hour days, every second day and I'm 56 years old. If I want to drive a truck sim in my spare time, by golly I will. I didn't know there was rule saying real truckers couldn't, or did I miss the memo? If you don't want to, then thats fine, but don't tell other people they speak s**t. I hope you learn to love your trucking job in the future, because it's a great environment and a very important occupation to be in. People/country rely on truckers - be proud.
Does anyone wish you could have a dual trailer and or an actual over-sized trailer that has to be maneuver by a team or something as well as a turck with more chassis options
could you please help me with something , in euro truck simulator 2 , i installed a bus mod , but i dont know how i get the bus ? do i have to buy it or should it be there for use already ??
squirrel will the Scandanavian mod grip its fingers in your savedata. I really want the map but I dont want to lose data if I want to delete it? love your vids
squirrel i think that if they are to make another truck simulator game they should have contracts. i mean if you have 3 trucks or so you can to some work for company's moving goods you can get your drivers to help and you could get rich very quickly if you buy a few trucks
It's all based on your graphics card, I have a higher end graphics card and I get 60 fps on high graphics settings, but I know people that can get up to 120 on games that I get 60
We have the "automatic pay thing" it's the Danish "Brobizz" you saw you could pay with that when you drove over the "storebæltsbro". Btw the reason why we have those "big" bridges is because Denmark is in 3 piecies which all are connected via bridges. ;)

That is something I've always wanted! That along with head bobbing movements when you go over a bump or something would keep me some what addicted ;)
Yeah! I love this series!
The roads are to perfect in this game when it rains the roads stay perfect when you deliver to a quarry no mud you never hear the wind blow trucks never break down tires never wear out just general stuff to make the game even more realistic

That Scania looks really nice, love the vids, your truck is the best by far.
trucks go to the right/left side off the tolls because it is classed as the slow lane still and in the uk trucks are only aloud in lanes 1 and 2 on a 3 lane M road
Here in the states we have something called an easypass, there is a special toll gate for it and you just go through. If you don't have an easypass they mail you a bill.
I died when he called the npc a banana. I've never heard anyone say that before!!😂
For those who don't want to invest in a wheel (part-time players) you can connect a PS3 controller to this game. Just just enough buttons to use it for 95% of the game and the keyboard covers the rest with the mouse still functional for quick looking movements.

"Sorry mate but you're acting like a complete banana."
Words of wisdom.
@Ira Maximus y'all replying to a 7 year old comment what in the actual fuck lmao
That map mod looks amazing. And I have downloaded the squirrel logistics mod (from modsaholic) great video squirrel I hope to see more of scandinavia
Squirrel, will you dabble in doing an urgent long (>1500km) delivery in 'hardcore mode'?

Omg that map looks just awesome!
Nice video Squirrel :)
In North America most trucks are usually between 600 HP to 800 HP on most Kenworth, Peterbulit and other various other trucks
Watching this video was incredibly relaxing, ill have to give it a go.
In Aus we have Etags where the sensor is mounted on a canopy and you just drive through!
eddie stobart also has a daf, iveco, mercades and man trucks
loving the videos hoping to get the game soon if i get a new laptop or computer
Yes it Works with version 1.4.12, i use it there without any problems
Keep on truckin, see you on the road
thank you for great videos squirrel. greatings from Denmark.
My favorite two videos is with the bug ship and the other is with the BIG tree logo
Ever noticed that you can get on the Ferry, and it's full of vehicles.
At the other end, it's just you on the Ferry. What the heck happened to everyone?
Alien Abduction is one possibility

Mph for Uk - Kph - for Europe
Gotta keep bringing up the options menu
Great work Squirrel. Enjoying your vids
The Humber bridge is the biggest bridge in the U.K. Which is found in hull/East Riding of Yorkshire
The route adviser gives you the shortest, not the fastest or in other way ideal paths. When you play much, you learn to ignore it anyway ;-)
Being a truck driver for over 35 years and after playing ETS & ETS2 for some years now I think this game is missing one fundamental thing... Diesel Exhaust Smoke. Awesome video i live in Denmark. The big brige is called "Storebæltsbroen"
I downloaded your company mod, I just can't get enough of the black Scania and the black trailer! :)
I can't get enough of automation transport liveries.
Bugs on your windscreen! And you have to use your wipers (if you choose too) Or have an option for water, watch you screen! ;) That would be an idea to have Squirrel :)
Hahah Im laughed my pants off when you "this is the town of Odense to the left"

Awesome mate. :)
i think the profile you have should have a 'reward generosity' feature, so if you are low on money, put the slider up and you will get 100's of thousands for a 100km delivery
The big bridge you went over after Odense is the Greater Belt Bridge.
I live in hull and there's a bridge called the Humber bridge and we have a system like the bridge squirrel described but it scans our registration plate.
Good video, like the squirrel truck and trailer
that bridge you dig go over is called Storebælt. And is the 3 th biggest bridge in the World. and it is much bigger in real life.
I used Euro 6 730BHP / 750BHP on Volvos and Scania's. Because the average weight of a load I do is probably 45 tonnes+.
The dart tag if that's how you spell it in Georgia, USA we have that you do that same exact thing but i don't think it makes the beep noise.
I've explained this a number of times but shall do it again. The guy sent me a donation and said "Buy a Logitech G27" with it. So I bought it from logitech . com. I bought it, he paid for it.
I have to say I agree with you and I truly believe that the G27 is the best wheel ever made and its defiantly worth buying if anyone doesn't have it
bigger engine doesn't necessary mean using more fuel, there was a scania advert in truck & driver with a quote for a haulier who only uses highest horse power scania's because they use less fuel due to not struggling up hills ect
Love this series! Cant wait to watch :P

squirrel ive seen all your video you a great person
The bridges is called Storebælt and Lillebælt

It's so good, I paid to have it sent from the UK all the way to NYC!
i love watching him rack up miles on that truck :D
at the bridge the sign that says "Brobizz" is an automatic pay system :)
I'm in the UK and me and all my friends have always pronounced Day Z Day zed rather than day zee as it sounds like daisy. And beta pronounced beeta rather than bayta. But this is just the UK variation of pronunciation compared the the US'.
I live in Denmark and you said in the video that you wish you had an automatic payment system. . But we have it is called brobizz
Love your videos, keep it up
You Can Help SCS Software By Advising Them About Your Good Point
Squirrel Well Done Bro :) Cheers To ETS 2
a truck with more power means less higher rpm = save waaaay more on gas compared to like an 400 HP that needs higher RPM with loads (mostly heavy)
Good idea its the little things that count!
I have driven through all the lanes(except the left lane) at a toll gate they all open for the same time.
Squirrel, that "outer wall" is a sound barrier so you don't hear cars and trucks in your house.
is there a map mod for ETS2 where there are more drivable UK roads like the A24, M23 etc as there are so many missing that i know the lorries go along. Also how do you create your own lorry livery like your custom made channel one, which looks bloody brill btw.
I watched Eddie Stobart Trucks and trailers and they had a Brand new Volvo FH16!
awesome vid ! keep it up , just wondering why you havet upgraded to full 6x4 chassis ?
Is there any way to mod the GPS? Like make it better to use only major routes, to list the speed limits on each route, and also maybe a speed cam marker?
love the videos good work
Wow that's amazing
Their is the Humber bridge in the uk that is a mile long suspension bridge
Danielmerlin13 brigde nr 2 is 10 miles long in the Real world😀
the average 8 10 12 cylinder diesel trucks rev up to 2000 -2500 rpm the average 4 cylinder car revs up to 6 even up to 8 thousand rpm the diesel ones maybe 4500 5000 rpm huge difference the average 4 cylinder motorcycle rev up to 12000 even up to 16000 rpm the difference is just crazy

Squirrel Logistics goes Nuts :)
And Automation goes geary.
I just subscribed at its awesome man Squirrel you are the best
just a quick question have you got tsm map 4x keep up the good work loving the videos
The E20 k.havn was Copenhagen on Danish Its names København
I am driving my truck mostly at 15-25, I am rarely down in the green zone, lol.
thank you i was thinking that, but was not sure.
Hi squirell how do you create the skin for your truck and what pro mod is for the trailer that you created
Does anyone wish you could have a dual trailer and or an actual over-sized trailer that has to be maneuver by a team or something as well as a turck with more chassis options
What's that big groan sound you hear sometimes when the air-brake simulation is on?
Denmark IS AWESOME!!
What was that on the right at 14:30 because it looked too long to be an ordinary service station
I wish this game was for Mac, it looks so fun
could you please help me with something , in euro truck simulator 2 , i installed a bus mod , but i dont know how i get the bus ? do i have to buy it or should it be there for use already ??
squirrel will the Scandanavian mod grip its fingers in your savedata. I really want the map but I dont want to lose data if I want to delete it? love your vids
Squirrel, here is a question you can ask the SCS guy: Will there be SEASONS in ETS 2?
Were/how did you learn to mod your own truck and trailer?
Did you see the forklifters at the end of the video?
Some dude had flipped thet thing over :D
squirrel i think that if they are to make another truck simulator game they should have contracts. i mean if you have 3 trucks or so you can to some work for company's moving goods you can get your drivers to help and you could get rich very quickly if you buy a few trucks
Do u think have a way to get out of The truck would be a good idea because farming simulator has it and the game one of the best by my standards
You mean 6x4 right? It's not about visuals it's 2 or 4 drive wheels so it should give you more traction.
How do you look around so smooth?
this video's are epic. Where can you get that game from and what can you play it on
the ipad version of twitch is great, you just press follow and it tells you when he is live for free
nice man keep trucking
It's all based on your graphics card, I have a higher end graphics card and I get 60 fps on high graphics settings, but I know people that can get up to 120 on games that I get 60
id love to work for you now squirrel imagine seeing aload of Squirrel logistics trucks and trailers on the road:)
