- The Kenworth W900a RC gets put through its paces in this video, complete with a new Realistic Physics mod and a sensible (not pimp!) tires mod. I play with the customization options of the Kenworth, give it a nice lick of paint and take a 40t trailer full of tractors through the Swiss Alps and down to Torino.

Up in British Columbia, Alberta, Sask & Manitoba, you'll catch W900's and Western Stars along with many others doing between 110-120 KM/H on highways. Speed limits are 110. You encounter many loooong road trains in the prairies up in Canada sir!

I haven't seen any Kenworth models like this but I have seen the newer ones because I live her in Canada. They sure are beauts!

Flight Simulator has this thing called FS Economy it is absolutely amazing, makes owning a company purposeful and amazing. You can either have an Base and charge people for fuel and ect or you can own or rent airplanes and use them to deliver jobs and make profit. If you are a very successful company you can put your aircrafts up for finances or loans which would be an alternative to the Euro truck bank loan. this is not online its more of a webpage, but this concept would work amazingly in ETS2 and it would revolutionize the industry

Really blue wheels on a truck dude I'm a 3rd generation driver and I own a Kenworth W900 and honestly wouldnt ruin my truck like that dude painted wheels in the U.S aren't a very popular thing but what my old man always said "Different strokes for different folks" other than that keep trucking brother!!

some of the the older trucks DO sound like that we u just get that real loud bit for a moment, I know its only on diesels, (in my experience at least) I think it might have something to do with the turbo or something, I'm not sure
The options for your mirror should be the lights for back up lights. This rack on the back of this truck is a logging configuration and the engines in Canada at least are seven to eight hundred HP. And they haul upwards of 150,000 Lb Loads of cedar trees.
In America, big rigs like those and also more modern looking trucks will come roaring by at 65-70 mph. I never realized how fast they go.
The Pro mod should be a DLC i would pay for that

Squirrel you can do a 18 speed gearbox you just push the red buttons on the shifter.
1st red button [far left] - low gear
2nd red button - mid gear
3rd red button - high gear.
Also 3L for example means Gear 3 Low and 8H for example means Gear 8 High.

You can do Manual, and Automatic transmission. :) Hope it helped.
For a heads up when you think you may pull heavy Equipment use 18 with a big ass motor and tes it does make that louder noise because it is a older trucker and also that back piece is for when you are pulling logs
That truck IRL, Shifting at 2500 RPM will blow the engine up. If you want realism... Shift at MAX 2100 RPM 2100 is your max for the Cummins engine.
What do you turn the camera with? Are both of your hands on the steering wheel and you just take one off to move the camera with your keyboard? Or do you have another Logitech item to turn the camera with? Also do you use the game mechanic to sift gears or do you have an item from Logitech to do that?
He uses track ir. Has a tracker on his head and a sensor on his monitor. So he looks around with his head. You only need to move a few inches one side or another to get it to change views completely to the side etc
In America you want the loud engine in the truck. Everyone like the sounds of truck engine here.

you commented on the turning radius. those old kenworths couldn't turn to save their lives. I remember my dad had a 77 kenworth dump truck after having a mack and said the turning was horrible
anybody else see the twelve gauge between the seats, this guy is preped for squirrel's idea of having hold ups
when the sound get louder from the truck I think it is the turbo kicking in
Mouse steering is as precise as a wheel I can tell. I have a wheel and sometimes I prefer to play with the mouse because my feet get tired of driving flatout so much time :P
just a heads up "daycab" means it doesn't have a sleeper. that chunk of steel on the back is called a headache rack, protects the cab during an accident or lost load situation. actually required by law in some places depending on the load you're hauling.
and as far as the cummins ISX engine, i can tell you that they tend to get a bit louder from 1600-2200rpm. it's a fairly sharp cutoff where they start screaming. although, that's where the power is really. in a more modern truck it's not nearly as loud, but that kenny isn't too modern.
i get the feeling you'd like seeing some of the kenworths and western stars i work on and get to boot around in a little bit :)

hay squirrel the steel bars behind the cab of the truck are mainly seen on rigs that haul Logs or pipes here in the USA. i felt like telling you that. (happy trucking)
Having the indicators over the wheel arch is realistic for American trucks. American trucks can go at least 70 miles per hour on interstates. (American highways)

It sounds like it has a manifold problem but that's how a Detroit Diesel engine sounds. It's old but it is very loud

It's most likely a Detroit 2 stroke V8. That's what it sounds like anyway.

I live in Texas FUCK YEAH! And I have seen a truck like yours they are awesome and when I was in the passenger seat my dad street raced it (In our 2008 Chevy Tahoe 420HP) we won but it sounded AWESOME
The trailers all look odd, due to the KW being designed to haul logs trailers with long forward over-hang sections, which bring the leading edge of those trailer types close to the cab.
I love the headache rack
It's the turbo on the diesel. Motor at high rpms it just makes it sound funny.
Should make sure your air lines and light hook-up is hooked to the trailer
In North America the trucks do do that. It's when the turbo kicks in.

When you do a mod review you should do a outside view of the truck so you can hear the engine sound. When I chose a truck the sound of the engine and the Exhaust brake sound are high on the priority list.
He did show the sound from the outside...
the engen sound is correct. it because the truck is an older truck
Another bugette- the indicator lamp on the wheelarch is forward of the main mirrors and you should not see them reflected. The modder has set the camera plane for the mirror in the wrong place
I'm not sure about the right mirror, but the left mirror just outside your window seems off. It show the persective of the front of the truck instead of just out of your mirror. I saw it because the black tank thingy that's on the side of your truck vertically, is in the visual of the mirror, which doesn't make sense since the mirror is behind that, not in front of it.

I find it odd that the side mirrors use the same image render as the mirror at the very front of the truck,. Notice you can see the air intake, front indicator and winshield in his side mirror which are obviously further back on the truck.

Pat, I just got my g27 and found that it already has its 18 gears with the first button that's red goes to 7 and back to 1 and the second red button goes to 1 - 13, 14 15 16 17 18 and back - 1 then it can go 1-7,8,9,10,11,12-13-14-15-16-17-18

I really like you to answer me on this question.... I am considering buying this game but I have no steering wheel.... I've seen you using a steering wheel in an other episode.... Can you play this game without the steering wheel at all?

I'm from alberta you see a mixture of kenworth mack western star frightliner. Also lots of custom trucks.
