I love my Lindy's! I don't have the shakers like you. I do the same ad you. Wet the paper and sprinkle them on. You can also do an ink smooshing thing with them. Put them on your glass mat, add water and smoosh the paper in that puddle.
Instead of doing two pieces of tulle, you can do one large one and fold it over. I found that I tended to dump the sequins though because they really aren’t in a well. It’s kind of like working with stiff panty hose 🤣
These might be my favorite of all the cards I've seen you make! I've actually never seen the shaker technique and love the idea of using tulle (I have a lot that I've used for wreaths). Thanks for your great videos (and cheering you on to 10k subs!)
Yes! I’m in The Villages these days, but have lived all over the east coast of florida. I lived in Jacksonville as a kid. Thank you so much for your support! 🩷
Oh I do love the tulle. And the amount of sequins etc you put in the first shaker. I am never quite sure if I have put enough filling in shaker spaces. Do you have a guide that you use, or do you just wing it?
Great idea and beautiful card. I'm curious...why did you put the second piece of tulle on? Could you just put cardstock on the back after you fill the shaker and put on the foam tape?
there are many ways to achieve the end result, however I opted to make a sort of pocket using the tulle. Since I had lots of the tulle, I utilized it. No other reason really, but yes you coul$ use cardstock. 😊
Have you tried Lindy’s Magical Powders? Any tips to pass on?

Beautiful card. You make it look so simple xx❤🎉
Thank you! The only “tough” part was not feeling like a cat with tape on my paw 😂. I kept sticking myself to the double sided tape.

I have the worst luck with shaker cards. I may have to try this. Very clever!

I winged it 🤣

Pretty! Sometimes if you mist both sides of your paper you will get less curling.
