@@surom123 thanks mate! This car was running on 19 inch wheels with very low profile tyres, so I think it'd ride much better on 18s. To be honest I think the only thing this generation of C63 does better than an M4 is engine, noise and styling (imo), both great cars though - good luck!

The W204 C63 is literally a timeless design. Some people think it's aged but I think this is one of the sexiest cars Mercedes has ever made. Literally every angle, it's both elegant and aggressive.
I bought my 2014 C63 with 25k miles 6 months ago and it’s the best car I’ve ever own. Seriously during the pandemic when everything was close, my C63 was my peace and joy just cruising around hearing that 6.2 V8 is enough for me. This car is a great machine !!!!

Great review of an awesome car. Actually you made a small mistake though: You don't get the Limited Slip Differential with the Performance Pack. On the very first C63's I believe it was like that but in the facelift version that you review the LSD has to be ordered separately (Package Code 471) even if you opt for the Performance Pack (Package Code P31)
I sold mine a few years back but on the look out for another. I took mine to the track and although you cannot get many laps in, as the brakes will start to fade; it was hysterical. I kept being reminded to not slide out of corners.

The difference to me between an e92 and this sure a e92 may beat it on track but this c63 was not purposely built for track it was built for enjoyment it was meant to be like a wild animal it was built to be a fun car plus its a 4 door unlike the e92 which is a 2 door but this will destroy the e92 almost anywhere you go and you don't really hear of the c63 w204 engine breaking unlike to the extent of where you hear the e92 engine running bearings and things like that at to me the inside of the c63 looks more classy than a m3 e93 (my personal opinion)
@@DannyM if you get a later car like this the issue was fixed. There are pros and cons, but when's all said and done I probably would go for an M3 for the focus and track ability.

@@brayton6683 its a 6.2 atmospheric engine. No bi turbo. And the mpg is not that bad. People reporting around 20mpg average imperial over 5000 miles. My R does that also with 2 liter and a big turbo.
Sexy ass car! I saw someone down here say it doesnt look aggresive but I guess it's true to the untrained eye but for someone who is an enthusiast will automatically see the aggresive quad exhaust and canards at the front.
Lovely mate. Best colour for the W204 C63 too, palladium silver! (Same as mine! ☺). Must admit I prefer silver alloys as it matchs better with the polished chrome exhaust and trim.

You aren't wrong - it is driving style dependent but with a 6.2l V8 and a lot of power going through the rear tyres you will be going through fuel and consumables.

Good choice, my friend! The main issue is that earlier cars have head bolt problems - it's best to get a post-2010 car where this was rectified by Mercedes. Other than that the gearbox can be clunky if the software hasn't been updated, and the rear subframes can rot badly - it happens from the inside out so it can be hard to spot. If you're considering one, perhaps get a specialist to look over the car before you buy as repairs aren't cheap 🙂
Do you mean the W205? That's the all new model. I think the new car is much more rounded while maintaining a lot of the character of this car. It's more precise, more comfortable, better on the limit and still has a fantastic engine, and a much better interior.

I'm more on the na motor cause now its cheaper since its quite old now and the sound from it sure its a glory to hear and not quiet like the new c class being made today. Hello Drew! To be honest I haven't driven the new motor but from what I know the response and noise from the 6.2 is better. The 4.0 has more punch from low down and in the midrange but the 6.2 still has bags of torque and it's fun to rev out. I found it to be a mega engine and I'm sure you'd enjoy it!
Anyone know what rims are on that c63, looking to get some new rims for my 204 was looking at the 507 edition rims but I like these as well, please let me know ASAP
They get 622bhp out of the 6.2l motor in the SLS Black - I think you have to look at it for the price and compared to rivals, which it outgunned at the time. It's more than fast enough for the road.
450hp from a naturally aspirated 6.2l, instant power,great sound, and the engines are pretty much bullet proof aside from the head bolts on the earlier models, my c63 has a tune, exhaust, and the perfrmance package and is making over 550+hp

PPP adds composite front brake discs which cost a fortune. Better to by a normal one and fit a quaife LSD.
