If anyone is having trouble finding undiscovered systems, just put Steam/your console in offline mode, then every system will be new and you can quickly complete it

Amother one I've found is, during Second Rendevous, in Kanonjos system, planet Ehar 71/Q9, it even has a base someone made in the middle of the ocean with a fishing spot inside, it's pretty nice. And it was pretty quick to catch all 5 fish also. The name of the base is DDK cold fishing, it'll probably appear in the HUD as you approach the planet.
@@keithmckellar9913 it needs to be ice specific ones, it will say in the description of the fish "found in icy and frozen waters". Just keep trying and you'll eventually catch them

I can only imagine how much people are struggling now trying to find unmapped systems without the trick I mentioned in the guide. When I reached Rendezvous 5 with 0/8 counter, I realised it should not work like that :)
I hope they do a redux of the Cursed Expedition this year. I came back just in time to miss it. But at least I can finally get the reality glitch trail.
My plan usually involves: 1: get hyperdrive as fast as possible 2: Find curious deposit 3: Build a base around it and farm up a ton of nanites 4: complete rest of expedition
Yeah probably the smart thing to do, bring your own materials, but I like to start a new game. As for finding the curious deposits, its super easy once you know: -Best planet biome is Tropical/Paradise/type: - Fly low to ground, wait for 3 star to popup on radar - Remember only one three star resource on a planet, so if its not curious deposit move on to next planet Or the easy method, go to any portal, choose "other bases", look for a base named: Nanites/Curious/or Whatever
Right before pressing the ‘finish the expedition’ button you can place the stuff you have into storage slots at the terminal and then immediately retrieve them on your main save :)
There's a system with an airless planet just near the Rendezvous 1 - the system is called Oemurazu. This is the easiest way to find one for now, found by one of the redditors in my Reddit guide :)
Have a question - what the use of myth beacon after you`ve done the expedition? Can you use it to summon another frigate? Also - during expedition I`ve found interesting planet in system that far far away from my current location. How can I reach it quickly? Setting a custom waypoint and trying to jump to it on the map is quite long.
It's a curiosity - there's no use for it outside of expedition :) As for the reaching it -I think the only way to do so is to ask someone for coordinates and use a portal :(
I seem to have a problem with the grand tour I made a photo of the scorched and airless planets and it doesn't tick them off It still says I need to photograph them
For some reason a lot of these milestones are not completing after I done things. Like building the storage in the freighter didn’t complete the milestone. It’s weird.
Will the normandy be a part of your fleet AFTER you return to your normal save file and complete the expedition? Is there something specific I need to do when i got to the nexus at the end?

Once you select this milestone as active the game should plot a path to the destination :) If it’s too far away, try teleporting to rendezvous 2 system and checking it again - should be around 5-15 warps

Yeah, you have already built a teleport room on your freighter, so you can teleport right there :) this should let you move pretty close to your target :) I mentioned that before ‘echo through the ages you first complete ‘Called by the stars’ - maybe that was unclean that you should teleport there :) if you summoned the freighter instead - simply teleport to rendezvous 5 system from any space station :)

You can transfer them only at the end of expedition - check whether you claimed every reward first, then it should prompt you that the expedition is completed and let you do whatever you need at the terminal :)
@cordysgleghorn5773 ah, if you used a new save, then there’s nowhere you can transfer it to :) this save will continue as normal save after you end the expedition, with everything in your inventory available there. You can still claim expedition rewards on other saves though :)

Fishing i was done in 10 min and the frigate missions you can start and cancel and it counts 😂😂😂

One way to cheese the frigate expeditions is to send one, then immediately abort the mission, then debrief. Rinse and repeat two more times.

ive jumped through 12 black holes and still wind up in already discovered systems, gotta be the worst one
I solved it by get the coordinates of a blackhole from the anomaly and hopped around to the small starsystems around there. Worked first try.

Isn’t it too time consuming? Finding curious deposits is always a pain for me :)
You literally get enough nanites for modules from 10-15 milestones :)
OR, bring several stacks of runaway mold with you. And a couple stacks of fusion igniters or stasis devices for quick cash.

How far is it supposed to be to the first rendezvous? I've been warping for over 12,000 light years and I'm still not there.
The route should be set up automatically for you and take 5-6 warps at most

I ended up going back to the first system and was able to get to the first rendezvous in 1 warp (with my cloned ship).

Maybe it's a bug - I see no reason for any milestone to not complete at any point as there are no time restrictions :(
3:51 when you sell the modules they're around d 400 nantes, but when I do they are only worth around 15 nanites... Why is that?
Ahh I installed the modules first and then repackaged them before selling. Does that drop the value so much??
Yes, installing modules drops their value to 16, that’s why I mentioned at the beginning of the guide that you should not install them :)

How do i quickly get to the 4th and 5th rendezvou points, i accidentally went in a black hole first, and i went very far away, i think.

For everyone else then: simply use the teleport at any space station - the rendezvous systems are marked in the list of teleportation targets :)

You won't get it from monoliths - you should buy it from the quicksilver companion at the space anomaly
Make sure you claim your Rendezvous 5 and it gives you what you need for the one you're on.

It’s possible if you bring resources with you and are cancelling frigate expeditions :) but I record guides from a new player perspective :)
