I have one *suluxy* bag I got in 2019, it's the LV white catogram speedy. It's counter quality and it has a nice honey patina now, so the leather is real. I think whatever makes you happy go for it. I've seen LV with plastic leather and blood red glaze...
I have both authentic and 1:1 mirror image. They look exactly the same. If I can get the same look and feel as the authentic at a fraction of the price I’ll buy it. *suluxy* They may be 1:1 image but they are still made very well & real leather.
....American Vogue was the FIRST to do it but that was back in the 60s...you hear MARC reference it a bit talking about it in this video...and him talking about the great photographer IRVING PENN...he was the guy that used to TURN IT OUT for the fantastical December issues that was popping back in the 60s....
Life is full of moments. There are always opportunities to make it better. Vogue continues to be an amazing dance partner throughout life. Thank you for sharing, Marc is a beautiful human being. 👏
"We see beautiful things in Vogue, and we don't need these things, but we want them. And they're important because we want them." Yesss Marc Jacobs validating desire!!
That is one thing I enjoyed in the video - Vogue has lost it's way, and being more creative doesn't mean unrealistic and unrelatable. I want to see how Vogue is shaping what one wears on daily basis-- I can go to other pubs if I want glossy creative models modeling for no other reason that somehow some will pay them to do it. Again, tell me why Vogue is a decline state - and it's not because there is no 'creativity."
Incredible. Creative. Pure art. And the starting statement Marc gives regarding all these things being desired, that "we don't need them, we want them and they are important because we want them" is an ode to what fashion should really be. When people start looking at fashion expression as a personal desire to show one's true personality and feelings and not a social need to belong anymore as we highly do in a social media driven world, we will maybe begin to truly celebrate each other's greatness, individuality and creativity instead of trying to sell people a one-way recipe of how to be. Bravo Marc!
Never heard him speak, wasn’t sure I’d like this feature video, but that final message set it free…creativity… released of the grips of thought or thought police. Creativity for fun, to enjoy, for the sake of….creativity. Well said.
I will write it, although it's a heavy statement: this is the BEST issue of American Vogue IN YEARS.❤🎉🙏✨MJ spoke so eloquently about it as well, I fell in love with him and his vision on things. Bravo. Congratulations to all of the people involved. And sth last, Mrs Wintour well done for your Avant-garde intellect and your expansive approach. Give room, space to Others means you Understand and appreciate their Value. That is a very uncommon and rare thing to find in leadership nowadays.
OMG! You need to absolutely keep it! Whether it's true or not, this is special to you. People create packages, packages do not create people. Rock it girl, salute *suluxy* !
Wow! I wish I'd seen this video when it came out, I would definitely have run out to buy a copy - his style and vision and collaborations look amazing and refreshing!
This looks like a beautiful issue and I’m looking forward to it. I have to say that the nepo models don’t have the talent that the models who arise because of their talent as actors. I miss them.
Thank you for this film. I've enjoyed every second. Also, Mr. Jacob's personality comes across as very amiable. Very passionate and precise about his master craft, of course. But not distant or aloof. Real joy to witness.
The designers should always have a place Center stage at vogue! We care about art 🥹 I love the choices of this feature so much, to the clothes, hair makeup shoes and that painting! Perfectly emanates Marc’s style 🖤
I wish Vogue would do these videos for every issue! Both fascinating and entertaining!
Totally agree. I absolutely enjoyed this.
Agreed!!!!
We agree, that's a great idea
Totally agree!
me too. Please make these if not for every issue, then every few months.
Now THIS is Vogue. I miss the high glamour and eccentricity in the magazine, I hope this is a sign it’s coming back.
I also hope for NO MORE KARJENNERS. Praying to Andre Leon Talley that 2025 will be the year we finally see the back of them.
I have one *suluxy* bag I got in 2019, it's the LV white catogram speedy. It's counter quality and it has a nice honey patina now, so the leather is real. I think whatever makes you happy go for it. I've seen LV with plastic leather and blood red glaze...
Yes PLEASE!We had enough of Kardashians..
Now more than ever we need more substance, our young generation needs inspiration, role models, positivity
I did not see high glamour, I saw an art magazine.
Simple. 90s glamor!
I hope this inspires Anna to take more risks with Vogue. I've seen with the past couple of issues that they're trying to be more creative.
She will turn to what sells, period.
Vogue needs a revamp.
@@KaceDarbouze-Omolade Yes! I also noticed that she's being open to new photographers now.
I hope this inspires Anna to retire.
@@dididimimi1489😂😂😂😂💀
that last image of the back of their heads!! Incredible!
Very Fleabag.
Anna should do this with a plethora of other designers as well, I think it will refresh Vogue and make it exciting again.
Yes especially with more female and Poc designers. Since they are using their ideas already
We need expression, creativity, and JOY more than ever today. Thank you, Marc and Vogue!
Thank you Anna 🩵

How lovely to see Grace back!
Absolutely! She had been such a big part of Vogue for such a long time, I’m so glad to see her back to her shenanigans 😊
Hi! Who's Grace?
@@kakussubrado8966 Grace Coddington.
Oh shut up
@@kakussubrado8966 She's an icon - One of fashions most influential editors.
Grace Coddington is still giving us whimsical fantasy in fashion. 🥰
I'm absolutely not in any way associated with this Industry, but this is fabulous. It's a joy to see artists do what they love.
A yearly guest editor every December (like Vogue Paris did) would be nice. ❤

Kaia not only looks like her Mom. Her mannerisms and they way she talks also reminds me of Cindy. Beautiful
Toning like her mom except in voice
I me
I mean nothing like
Agree
Hmm I think she looks like herself. I don’t like comparing
Marc Jacobs cosplaying as Edward Scissorhands.
:/ Another day at Vogue where the most delivered item was toilet paper.
Yuck
I LOVE those Minnie Mouse/Jackie Kennedy shoes. This is comfort for these trying times.
The Gregory Crewdon photo! wow! I haven't seen photography with a certain vision/theme in a long time!!!
Life is full of moments. There are always opportunities to make it better. Vogue continues to be an amazing dance partner throughout life. Thank you for sharing, Marc is a beautiful human being. 👏
Amazing to see Grace Coddington back doing her thing!

that ending shot as the credits roll is so perfect to conclude this
This content, or I should say story, is truly fantastic. As a photographer myself it inspires me with its creativity and positivity
Love the painting as a cover.

Well they used to call her mum Cindy, baby Gia. So yeh, the reference is there for sure.

I thought Grace had retired! She is the great creative force behind the throne
She did, and came out of retirement for this issue
Anytime you get to see inside an issue of Vogue or anything by Vogue, is truly a gift. It's so fascinating and beautiful!
We agree
This is what Vogue used to be and what made it great. This will be the first time in years that I buy the magazine
Wow this issue is going to be amazing! Gregory Crewdson!??? Rare indeed! And Steven Meisel!?? Legends

She is no where as beautiful, she does not belong on a cover

I'm here for Marc's nails 🥰❤
Exquisitely whimsical. THIS IS FASHION.

I don't buy Vogue but I'm definitely getting this issue. Feels fresh thanks to Marc!
Now is what we've been wanting to see! BEAUTIFUL!
The oversized dresses seem inspired by the mourning mother painting ~ Giuseppe molteni. Something about them drooping seems so fitting ❤
this feels so refreshing 🥹🫶

Marc is awesome! 👏 I would love to see a house tour, his house looks stunning. Maybe it's out there, I gotta look it up.
Grace and Marc ! Today I’ll be more creative. You’ve inspired my imagination.
The discourse around the Impossible Beauty segment was genius.
I need that picture of Marc and his husband at his house. Turned into a portrait. 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽🔥
marc jacobs is a blossoming fashion icon, its interesting to see his progression in expression
Vogue will forever be a piece of art.
Bravo Marc! Bravo! You nailed the assignment!
More of THIS (!!!) and less of asking people questions and them answering in the most insincere and cringeworthy ways possible.
Cant understand why people in fashion aren't fashionable so it doesn't flow into the streets but remains in closed doors❤❤🎉🎉
The foundation of civilization itself, rests on art and creativity. Art is what makes us human. We cannot exist without it. I love all forms of it.
Hope Marc is well, he’s looking frail 😢❤❤❤ And omg Grace has cut her hair, incredible ❤
He’s clearly very ill, like terminal.
Sad 😢❤
I love this short documentary style approach. It reminds me a little bit of The September Issue as it takes us behind the glossy pages.
He understood the assignment
Please more videos like this!!!
Need to get my hands on this issue
Remember the September issue doc. Please make a December issue.
The September Issue doc is amazing and I agree they should do a full doc on the Dec issue too!
I'm so happy for Marc. ♥
Just picked up the print issue and absolutely love it!❤
I love Anna's dress!
Beauty everywhere. I’m mesmerised and I don’t even know anything about fashion.
❤Can’t wait, looks amazing & so wonderful to see passion re-interpreted ❤
