I love that 71 year old woman... she really put things in perspective for me... I’m 24 and I’m constantly panicking over “youthfulness.” I get anxious every time my birthday comes around and then I look back at the previous year, and I’m like “dang it I was younger” it’s a ridiculous mindset and not at all healthy for my self esteem. I should just be happy that I keep living another day!

Indian girl here, with premature grey hair. And it's not hereditary, just from stress. I used to be embarrassed about it, and my friends would ask if they could pluck the odd grey strand out if they saw one. Now, I've learned to embrace my flaws and I'm never dying my hair. Ever! As for the clothing... I live in Canada, but I wish I could wear traditional clothing more often :(

These women are so inspirational, they are even more inspirational than most young celebrities nowadays. They have so much wisdom and they are so beautiful from inside out. I wish the media would portray more of these "older" women because we need every women to speak up, from every age or race, because I feel like we are only seeing the young ones. This is so inspiring! As I’m starting to reach my 40’s, I was starting to make peace with fact that i will no longer be attractive. I was starting to slowly change how I dress and do my makeup, so I could “look my age”. These women are beautiful and fabulous, and classy and graceful. They’re powerful and beautiful women filled with wisdom. I don’t have to hide from the world, aging isn’t shameful, it’s a privilege.
I'm 20 and my mother is 58. We're often mistaken for sisters. She doesnt even have wrinkles. Heck, my grandmother is 84 and doesn't have any visible wrinkles. They do not do anything to their skin. It must be something in the water in California. I hope I age as gracefully as them. When I think of my mother, I think of how cultured and worldly she is, her eloquent and poetic way with words, her openness and friendliness that make people fall in love with her, and how she is always full of life. She's always laughing and looking at the positive side of any situation. Even as if she's endured a triple bypass, heart attacks, and bouts with bronchitis, she stays beautiful inside and out. That's who I want to emulate. I want to focus on traveling the world, creating unforgettable memories and gaining insight and wisdom on the wonders of the world. So then ultimately I will pass that on to future generations. I want to be unafraid of aging and see the beauty of it. I want to appreciate the ever evolving changes of my body and in my mind. That's the beauty of aging in my opinion.

Three of my dear cousins(7,10,16) didn't get a chance to grow old😢 Be grateful for getting a chance to "grow old" and having your loved ones with you as well. 🙏I wish TV, movies and the media would stop making people feel bad for aging when it's a normal part of life and it's a blessing that many don't get to enjoy. My beloved Grandma was blessed with almost 103 years of life.🙌🙏 Every day is a blessing🙏Father bless you all with many years of life.🙏❤️

I also feel like there's a horrible sense of dread about looking 'old'. And I hate that mature women feel like they have to spend money, and break their backs to look 'younger'. When you're in your 40's, 50's, 60's, 70's, how you look shouldn't still be such a thing. What's wrong with looking like 'an old lady' ? I think some of these women are really content with themselves and their age, and I find it incredibly refreshing.

I'm pushing on 63. Age is just a number to me. I cannot stand when people say "you look good for your age" WTF??? What a back-handed compliment. We look good at every age--it is just a stage of life. One thing these women have is that they are tremendously successful. The average woman over 50 or 60 who is out there looking for employment is shut down due to ageism. Stop ageist behavior. We aging women have so much experience and wisdom to offer and it is overlooked by the fashion and beauty industry.

My grandma is almost 80 and she looks 50-56. But when she was 65-70 she looked even more younger. People thought she was my mom and that she was 27-36. I was like, "THAT'S MY GRANDMA!" My teacher was shooked. Because my grandma was 67 when she met my teacher and she thought my grandma was 36.

as lovely as they are, I've never seen someone who has aged as gracefully as these three! almost feeling insecure, like 'oh, I'll never be that hot/healthy at that age.". I want to believe I can, but the belief ain't exactly rolling within me. I guess what's most scary to me about aging is health problems. I have them now at 27, and I want them gone when I'm older! figuring it out still, I guess.
Sometimes we have abs health younger but maybe we figure things out to an older age and and live even healthier lives.

Keep moving and eat well. It is the best you can do. Oh, and find a good doctor and listen to her.
Try going vegan. Look up forks over knives. It won't solve all your issues, but a whole foods plant based diet can really really help you out. If you're able bodied, even a daily walk can help, exercise can be really important. Also drinking tons of water literally like between 2-3 liters if you can, especially if you're eating a lot of fiber. Instead of taking a bunch of vitamins (unless you need a concentrated dose of something), look up nutrient rich foods and cook stuff that's really diverse and fits your nutritional needs. Going to a vegan nutritionist and get blood tests would be good. I'm sorry if I didn't help because I don't know what health issues you're going through, just be kind with yourself I'm sending you good and positive vibes and I know if you have the opportunity to age you will do it just as gracefully as these women. Being able bodied or without illness is not what makes you beautiful.
+Tori Ollar thank you for your kindness! I just got blood work done, and everything is great, just high kidney function. Veganism didn't work for me, but I do take the time to get nutrient rich food and supplement where needed. I mostly have mental health issues, which I am working on with a therapist and holistic doc. i just feel like I look I've aged prematurely from the stress I've been through, but my boyfriend says I look nor mal for my age. Maybe I have stress over ageing, because I have the belief that everything gets more difficult the longer I'm in this life. We need to be real, aging naturally and being comfortable with it............we can do it as a group. This needs to be a movement. Eva Haas you know what I literally just said the same thing. Before this video I was terrified of becoming older, and now I want to be like these women. Well I wouldn't call the 52 year old to me she's still young. But the other two women makes me look forward to being their age. 🙂

I think its very sad about this world of marketing beauty products that girls are made to feel incecure of their looks that their mother gave them since very young age. And they are told that they are worthles when they grow older and start looking like their mum. I love my mum, so i love the face and body she gave me and im happy to look like her when im older because then she is forever with me.
