It's been a while since I've watched. Graham. Great viewing as always. I love the way you always seem to forget something. You're the most entertaining fisherman on TH-cam. Great work.
I dunno GP - a basket full of decent roach isnt too bad. And the pike, well, you're the master. And with all the water at that place, it could by a lifes job to find those tench. And tea in a pot? Classic. Greeting from South Carolina David
Awsome video Graeme🎣 i love a days waggler fishing mixd species just good fun watchin the float.. after Rudd,Tench,Crucian carp, perch, bream cant beat it in nice sun also
My God Graham you picked a real "parrot cage" to fish from lol although you never take the easy option ! great video as always real life real fishing experiences.
That small lake is very interesting. The NOT knowing whats in there makes it very exciting. I think you should feed it some more for carp. Perhaps it only has a few carp in it and they might be very old and large. Thats just my imagination! great roach and pike catch.
You would be happy catching roach that size all day it wouldn't take long for your keepnet to bulge. Love your videos. From Justin in West Midlands, England 🏴.
If not many people fish the lake like you say they are not familiar with the normal types of bait an angler would use. But from the size of those roach there must be a lot of natural food for them in the lake. From Justin in West Midlands, England 🏴.
What a fantastic water to have on your doorstep. Just guessing the more baits you feed in the fish will become accustomed and be more likely to take a hook . If it's not been fished for an age, they'll be used to a natural diet. Could be useful and productive later on to drop by with a bag of corn and pellet, for a week or two give them a taste of what the commercial fishery natives gallop down throughout the season.
Hi Graeme , the last session I had was at a fishery . I used a method feeder with a worm on the hook . I was pleased as I've tried a couple of times before on the method feeder with no luck , this session a couple of weeks ago was fantastic and exciting .
Worms can still be a great bait ,but with the plague of Signal Crayfish in may places I find the worms don't last long. Sounds like you had a good trip and that's what keeps us going.
Hi buddy just watching your video u are doing a great job of making theses video keep up with the great work u r doing what a turn round at the end great pike u had at the end well done can't wait to see your next video
You need a camera man. I wish I lived closer to you i would do it for no wages because I think I could learn so much from you that is worth more than money. From Justin in West Midlands, England 🏴.
Hello mate, what a great video, always love what you do, well im off to a brand new water tomorrow a 1.5 acher pond with some stunnig fish not that I will catch anything lol, early morning job, and plan for some Tench to begin with all the best Graeme.
Lucky you pal,it's Shure going to test your skills, different and I like it, you could end up making this place a real super spot if you sort the weed and help create a super lake..
Yeah I know how that is, feels or seems like things are against you that day, makes you wish you never got out of bed that day! Boy those pike in that lake are ready, willing and able to bite aren’t they? Ooooo-weeee!
Tench best methods i have found rake the bottom leave for 30 min or so then fish double maggot and maggot feeder had bags well over 100lb using this method . Another little tip in shallow waters ducks are your friend just make sure you feed them in the water they will stir the bottom up while feeding and fish will move in to investigate
Thanks again Graeme for another entertaining fishing adventure ,you have got some stamina for a 72 year old, do you get aches and pains like us other 1951 models ?
Getting them now,but I do all the stretches every morning to try and keep it at bay(well at least for as long as I can...Just got to keep all the joints moving throughout the day.
If hasn't been fishing in a while maybe a few trips and a few pre baits might switch them on to bait as might not seen bait in a long time tbh. Private lakes are like it have switch them onto fishing bait
???? No idea what you mean ?..Unless you mean the rubbish on the web that said my parents were killed by a mountain lion or something and I was brought up by a Billy Goat in Canada ??....Don't believe everything you read on the web.
Those roach remind of a golden shiner, we have over here. There was a lake, paylake, that I used to fish, back in the early to mid 90’s that had golden shiners in it, and you could use a small rod with a small hook with a float and piece of redworm or nightcrawler or waxworm ( waxies) and catch those shiners, but you could catch one and put it on a hook, big hook, I used a 7/0 to 10/0 kahle, just hook the shiner through the lips or nose, careful not to kill it, and throw it out under a big pole float, and you could bet the bank that it wouldn’t stay out long before a big catfish slurps it up, Flathead generally, sometimes a bluecat but mostly flatheads. Anyhow yeah great bait, livebait!
Those pike were good fighting fish! I remember when I was living in Canada (Vancouver island) I once had a coho salmon immediately after being hooked jumped straight into the boat!!!!!
You should sack MR SMITH he just causes you problems. A good camera man that might be available is MR JONES you should hire him. Love your videos and the tips you share. From Justin in West Midlands, England 🏴.
Lignumvite Channel, Islamorada Tarpon baits out,sun sets and the wind drops...Oh No...the mosquitoes come out from the Key like a swarm of fighter jets....Been there...got the T-shirt. (And the bites)
Its Graeme. Who the hell gives a **** what happens.? WE get to see some dodgy tinned food heated on a gas hob lighter. But we get to see some great video shit , some talk on baits which is a bit of an erm an and an erm... But that is what we want to see. Some shit that appeals to us all. AS Graeme says at 6:10... Where we all stand....No clue Spoiler alert 12:08 tea time ...apologies he caught....a 1lb gudgeon! Who cares? We need to see the dodgy cooking.
It's Graeme, it's another wonderful TA vid, what's not to like!!! 👌

Going to be tough,as with all the jam it will take some sort of will power not to eat it but throw it in.
👍👍👍
Hi GP, question, if you need to dudu and since you are fishing alone, nobody looks after your gear or what is the arrangement?
Toilets are on site.Gear wound in.Business done.Back to fishing.
