I disagree about the video being too long, I've seen a few on here and this stands out as one of the best one, I like that you can just hear some audio between biker on a ride out, just as we all do it. we are riding this in May (NC500) and all the videos are a massive guidance to what we have to come. year on year we ride around Europe/America, for once we are exploring Britain...…….here's to a great summer! :-) Nice one Barry.

Thanks Ian. I think the other comment was actually from my youngest son trying to be funny. But he won't admit it. 😂

We did the whole NC 500 in June 2018. I'm hoping to actually get the full video of that up soon.

I think it was a good video, I sent it onto a few mates who are also going to ride the NC500 this year, they also agree. a close call there too!!! I cant wait to get up to ride the Roads, as I said, we mostly ride away from the Uk (Due to weather to be fair) but this year we are going for it, we have a great country with great roads on our doorstep, so now time to explore! look forward to seeing more clips. by the way, what camera did you use? Go Pro?? @@barrysclips7720

      @@ianbirnie2631 . It was a Go pro.
We were lucky with the weather as we camped. Although I would recommend the SYHA at Ullapool as the Midges are supposed to be bad there. We used it as a 1 night break and it was great. The roads are fantastic. Try and follow the coast road from Ullapool North. Fantastic views and a great beach hut cafe approx 15 miles up from Ullapool. Could easily spend weeks riding up there.

Never seen that road looking so bad, I think they have worked on it since you rode there. Also, the V-strom, great bike, had one for many years and the engine could chew up and spit out Bealach na Ba without any problems. Finally, OMG, what possesses a bicycle rider to ride around this route?

My mate came a cropper on that bend- it needs a sign post reminder as adverse camber on a short tight bend is tricky.

I've seen a couple of clips where Riders have come off there.

Whole road looks massively gravelly. Had it just been relaid? How did you find the hairpins?

It wasn't new. I think the road itself was just well worn due to the amount of Traffic flow on it. Hairpins were ok. We had lot of weight on so just took it steady. Be harder if busy or slow traffic. That's why we stopped until a jam cleared.

Quick question, how the f**kin hell did you stay on then? :D

This is too long no one would actually watch the whole thing. You need to learn how to edit cuts so we can see the better parts. I heard your youngest child is really cool though.
