Description for the new third movie: This holiday season, get ready for an action-packed, all-star, rainbow-colored family reunion like no other as Anna Kendrick and Justin Timberlake return for the new chapter in DreamWorks Animation’s blockbuster musical franchise: Trolls Band Together.
After two films of true friendship and relentless flirting, Poppy (Anna Kendrick) and Branch (Justin Timberlake) are now officially, finally, a couple (#broppy)! As they grow closer, Poppy discovers that Branch has a secret past. He was once part of her favorite boyband phenomenon, BroZone, with his four brothers: Floyd (Golden Globe nominated electropop sensation Troye Sivan), John Dory (Eric André; Sing 2), Spruce (Grammy winner Daveed Diggs; Hamilton) and Clay (Grammy winner Kid Cudi; Don’t Look Up). BroZone disbanded when Branch was still a baby, as did the family, and Branch hasn’t seen his brothers since.
But when Branch’s bro Floyd is kidnapped for his musical talents by a pair of nefarious pop-star villains-Velvet (Emmy winner Amy Schumer; Trainwreck) and Veneer (Grammy winner and Tony nominee Andrew Rannells; The Book of Mormon)-Branch and Poppy embark on a harrowing and emotional journey to reunite the other brothers and rescue Floyd from a fate even worse than pop-culture obscurity.

Trolls, trolls 2, and trolls band together are my favorite movies!
A story to make you appreciate the idea of hugtime better: for my eleventh birthday, when I was obsessed with the first movie, I was celebrating with lots of other kids. One moment, after blowing out my candles, one of my best friends at the time said "Hey, I think I just heard and ding!" And after I realized what he meant, he said "that means it's hugtime!" And I got hugged by a pile of kids. I sadly don't speak with any one of them anymore, but this was one of my favorite memories from this time.
After years of loving the first and second movies so much, I went to see the third one just this weekend. I am so happy with it and this franchise still means a lot to me to this day. Yeah, I understand some of them is a little odd, but I will always think of them fondly and still go back to them about once every year. I hope I'll always love them. I still remember when I watched the first one as a child ❤
Trolls has been my childhood and is a saga that I appreciate very much, I don't know if it helps you but the director is thinking of making 7 movies, even at this moment they are already planning the 4th one:)

It's really nice when something for kids can be silly while also handling dark topics. Thank you for doing this. I love the Trolls movies. This one was for Branch. The next one, World Tour, is for Poppy.

Why are they acid trips?
First time watching any of your videos. Your trolls reaction randomly popped up and I just had to watch. I have a daughter who just turned 2 this week and trolls is her absolute favorite. We watched pt. 3 3x already and we both can’t get enough of it. This franchise has definitely grown to have a special place in my heart now as me and my daughter watch it every time she’s with me. Can’t wait to watch more of your guys reaction and hopefully your reactions to trolls 2 and 3. And ik I’m saying a lot. But also the trolls holiday doesn’t disappoint.

Wow. The Trolls is my one of my top 5 favorite franchises from DreamWorks animation. So far, they've had 3 films, 2 holiday specials and 2 tv shows. All really good in my opinion so, in case you need a little convincing about watching the second film, Trolls world tour, here's why... the film explores more genres of music such as Pop, Funk, Rock, Country, Techno, K-Pop, etc, the film has even more famous celebrities' (Kelly Clarkson, Mary J Blige , Ozzy Osbourne, Anderson Pakk) and honestly... it's not as wired as the first film. Also, if you're still wondering where the Trolls musical instruments came from, it's their hair. As you've already seen, Trolls have magical hair that changes colours, stretch's and can even store objects.

Me too, the Trolls franchise is also my top 5 fav franchise from Dreamworks, because I am a big fan of Trolls, and I agreed with your opinion.
This movie came out when I was in college and I had a thing about seeing every DreamWorks movie in theaters no matter how bad the marketing was (missed out on seeing movies like Rise of the Guardians and Megamind from poor marketing 😭). A friend I made up there decided to join me because she was curious how it would turn out.
First five minutes had us hooked, especially Branch’s grumpy sass and Poppy’s golden retriever energy 😂😂 The dark jokes kind of went over most of the kids’ heads, which made it all the more hilarious to us whenever a kid would look over and give us a confused stare cause we would start laughing when we got the jokes. Stayed till the end to avoid the families leaving, and had a pretty deep discussion about the movie, only to start laughing again when my friend noticed “Hair Animators” in the credits 😂 it was a bit stressful with classes for us round that time, so the movie probably broke our already frayed nerves in the best way.
It for sure is a strange movie, but kind of charming in its own way. My friend and I watched the 2nd one at my apartment (stupid Covid), and saw the 3rd one not too long ago. We have a great time, even if we’re not quite sure how to describe the overall experience 😅
There’s two types of people reacting to this movie in this video one just wants to watch it and the other talks the whole time 😭😭 (love the video!)

Have to thank San Diego Comic-Con for help introducing this movie to many of us attendees who were there that year. Comic-Con 2016 had a DreamWorks panel that showed us a sneak peek of this. While we laughed at the musical numbers this movie featured (including Bergens singing a Gorillaz song), it actually made some cry. In particular, True Colors. When they played there were tears in people’s eyes. Glad I don’t regret watching this movie when it came out in theaters in 2016.

I don’t think it’s coincidence that Justin Timberlake is voicing the cynical Branch. He used this type of personality and attitude in his last DreamWorks movie Shrek the Third as the rebel Arthur.

The fact that they met at her birthday and fell in love was cute. It is kinda sad that they married and he died in a very short time, and Branch ruining their moments specifically
