2:58 Branch's colours shift based upon his emotions
Whilst they did dull Branch’s colours a lot from his ‘True Colours’ of last movie (the hair the most) I kinda like it.
I mean Dreamworks did do it because they thought kids are dumb and wouldn’t remember Branch being fully blue but the darker colouration contrasts nicely with Poppy being the most vibrant troll. It also helps them most stand out from the background trolls more.
To me, it also matches his more pragmatic personality.
Branch's colours shift with his emotions, at certain moments he'll appear more blue or appear less saturated
but he never reverts back to being fully gray intentionally now
@@xxmension04xx47 That makes sense! In the Pop Melody in World Tour and finale in Band Together he seemed more blue, and he did seam more darker though not as grey when he had disagreements with someone
Troll Colours are tied to their emotional state, its why every troll turned gray during World Tour when Poppy destroyed the strings...trolls saw the strings are their source of music, so seeing them destroyed made them believe they lost music@@Princessitaandreita
My theory is that.. MAYBE in trolls 4-5 or in a holiday special (or something) in the ending, we’d see’d see Branch in front of the whole village with Poppy at the crowning ceremony, king peppy smiles & nods at him (and he smiles & nods back) he then crowns Branch, & Branch becomes the new King of the Pop trolls! And Branch’s colors glow become bright & vibrant (similar to the ending of the first movie)
That’s what I am thinking!!
I'm so glad you're enjoying the trolls franchise because if you wanna see me more after the films, then I highly recommend watching the trolls holiday specials. There's only 2, they're under 30 minutes long and fun to watch. 😉

@@GalaxyGeeks oh, and if you really wanna dig deep, they have two series. trolls the beat goes on, and trollstopia!! neither of them have the original cast (that i know of) but they are still really great!! i recommend seeing the third movie too it’s amazing!! i recommend watching the christmas specials before trolls band together though!! the series aren’t mandatory!!

I hope you have enjoyed this movie. The thing about Trolls is that they do a good job making a fun movie that is also quite profound and meaningful. The next one is also quite good and, if Poppy had the spotlight in this one, Branch will be the central character of the next... which made me love him even more than I already did. Prepare yourself, because there are a lot more twists in the Trolls than you expected.

I really love how this movie has a different interpretation that sets it apart from other kids movies. In most they would have the other trolls be like "yeah we are all the same!" But i like that they opted to go the opposite route, we are all different but we can live together and appreciate our differences because they make us who we are
