Hopefully this conflict ends soon so you can get paid again and many can get back to living instead of fighting and trying to survive. Thanks for sharing your adventures.
Seems like a war to me when the Russian Federation invades a neighbouring country from 3 directions, launches over 11 000 missiles at it, occupies or tries to occupy half the country and hundreds of thousands of people die...
@kv3515. 2014 regimechange in Kiev Rus by whom? Nato expansion. Color revolutions etc. We do not want another American war here in Europe. America is not in Europe. England is an island. Stay where you are.
Remember, what happened there was perfectly alright. Same in Georgia right now. Perfectly alright. BUT what happened in the US 4 years back, That was a shame. Keep your story straight and enjoy the show 😂😂😂 😢
@@kv3515It’s a lot more complicated than that. The border dispute with Ukraine has been going on for a long time. The Americans, the British, the French and others need to get the hell out of the region and let the Russians and Ukrainians solve this problem themselves.

Thanks so much for the video Lars. If it was most people, they would just give it up. What I mean is you are demonetized, receive less than 180$ a month in patronage contributions, why bother? I’m really glad that you are carrying on, you’re a better man than me and watching you camp in this shitty weather is admirable.
Glad to see another 'Lars instructional' video. I hate to hear of the demonitization of the channel. You are one of five channels I learn a lot. Keep up the good work!
I have a relatively new playlist called Basic Survival. Not too many video there yet, but check it out. I will take up making videos on that again. Thanks for the reminder )))
Please be safe sir. Your one of very few with healthy mind in this world of misinformation. Glad to see again and forward to more vids from you and your family.
I'm a knife guy, throwing hatchet guy, Sandinavian War Axe guy. Off-Grid Solar-Popane/Wood. I cut and process my own wood. I've been watching for about 10 years. Thanks for carrrying on Brother Lars!
We just got 2 meters of snow over two days in WNY. It's going to be an interesting winter this year. Stay warm and safe Survival Russia Family. Thanks for the video Lars
The solar teepee! Same weather and long nights here in North Scotland, Set to rain and get up to 5 C for a few days, then back to sub zero. I prefer cabin fever to hypothermia.......
Greetings from England too, I hope the conflict stops soon so you can get paid properly, Lars, it is amazing to see how wild the Russian countryside is. You must be tough to camp out without food and in such cold. Wishing you a happy Christmas and a peaceful new year for us all.
Thank you for your time and experience,, simple and efficient. We forget that we are not going to be in our crib or lying on the couch.:taking it to the limits .
Hey from St Louis Missouri! I have a few ponchos but never realized how big they can be when opened up! Thanks for that info! I really like your videos! ✌️
First time seeing your videos. Truly impressed with your skillsets, been winter camping 25 yrs or so here in Newfoundland and enjoy learning new ways of surviving cold weather. Doesn't matter how much you think you know theres always more to learn
Lars we have freezing drizzle and rain here today on December 7 2024. Seasons are swinging around like crazy. Thanks for the video and as always enjoy watching your videos and channel. Thanks for keeping us informed and always a pleasure my friend. Cheers Fred
Yeah, nice little camp. If you're heading out that time of year, you should always bring some extra plastic with you. A piece 3 m by 3 m is just right. You never know what you might run into good stuff. 👍👍🙂🇨🇦🔥
Hey Lars, coming at you from Orchard Park New York. Good to see you, hope you and yours are doing well. Im not a fan of the TH-cams political cloud they put over creators.
Nice setup Lars. Swede Woods had a long log go through the door so he didn’t need to feed the fire as much. Hopefully this conflict will be over soon. Us common folk want to live our lives in peace and freedom.
I've carried clear sheet for a few years (as well as the ubiquitous black builders sacks :) and Sea To Summit Silnylon pocket poncho ), so this series has been quite interesting for me. I also always carry mylar sheets which, while not magic, are really good in situations like this where you could drop behind you to reflect heat back from both fires. (as well as underneath, on top of the mat). I like the tipi approach, even if more involved than the normal ridge or plough I go for. It can be more enclosed than yours (in fact, I'd have put the poncho the other way to be able to almost completely close the door if needed, yet still be able to roll up for the fire), cosier for more people, and with the small fire only sooting/gumming up cheap plastic instead of an expensive tard, more likely to be used.
I wish more knives used such an obvious approach (which I already ground into my Mora Robust). Having the main spine comfortable for carving, and the back of the 'tip' of the ferro rod.
Glad to see you in the forest again my friend! Hope you and your family are doing well. Like others have mentioned I hope TH-cam wises up and stops punishing creators for living in a country such as Russia!
Lars I wish thehell this war bullshit would stop. Love all your videos. They have helped me keep on when I was I'll and they still keep me amazed. Keep up the good work
Oops, a Pashtun Pakol as a head covering. For me, the warmest and most practical head covering. Protects the ears, is easy to adjust and in an emergency you can also use the hat as a sturdy sack. Great decision to choose a Pakul.
Hi, Lars. I hope that this shelter will be alive till spring to see a influence on winter sun to plastic sheltef. I dont know that plastics has aditive to endure UV rays from winter sun and when is minus 25 below 0. It will be interesting how this plastic will be when spring come. Maybe you can find another type to test together. Stay good and healty you and your family and comrades.
Great. Do you think it would work if you got a metal tube like thin steel or alu then used it to wrap the teepee poles around during contruction, held with bungee cord you could run a roll up tent stove type chimney right down to your fire, it would be heating up the ground while most of the flames would be pulled up the chimney - no risk to the plastic
Another great video Lars. I am curious how it would be if you built a second Tepee over the one you have built with the opening offset to the first one? I would think the double wall would make it even warmer. Thanks again for all your effort.
Yes, I thought about it, but this shelter is meant to be simple and light. Carrying more than double the plastic sheath will take up too much space in the pack, for a potential survival shelter.
Good stuff, Lars. Appreciate your efforts. Where, my man , can I find those giant magnesium, ferro rod combos like you use? Thank you for any help. Take good care.
