Why did the man who was supposed to kill the Queen had stabbed Beatriz and not her? Was Beatriz sleeping in Isabella's bed at that time? I really don't follow this series but I watch your videos about it.
Probably because it was dark, Especially inside of the bedroom. He thought that it was Queen Isabella, So he stabbed Beatriz, Thinking that it was the queen.
They changed many details in the series. For one the assassin was Muslim, not Neapolitan.
He wanted to kill Ferdinand (they didn't see Isabella as a leader, but neither did non-Spanish Christians like Columbus), but he got the wrong tent and attacked a cousin of Isabella. He then stabbed Beatriz because she called for help. It was coincidence that Beatriz was there, they were playing either chess or checkers.
