I think if the leaves were a bit dryer they’d transfer more color, but I love your results - certainly much quicker than the normal method! Steph

Enjoying your video, I am wondering if the leaves turn out better on the right side. Rather than the back side. Will definitely be trying this method. Thankyou.

The leaves give the color from the top side only!

How about a kitchen tour, people love wood stoves, and how they work. Do you live in NZ? I am blessed to live in rural Queensland and have 2 wood stoves, one in the kitchen for the winter cooking, and a second one back to back on the veranda. We are a hot state, but cool in the winter. loved the video.

@@gailkutasi3866 hi there thanks for your comment. Yes I live in NZ this was a lovely home me and my husband built we ended up selling it and moved to the West Coast with lots more land.. I am currently about to lay bricks to put in a bakers wood oven in my new house here. So sadly I do not have this one anymore. When I am finished with the house here I will do a video 🥰👍👌

Yes, it acts as a mordant I think... Like Alum or rusty things...

Try some distressed oxides on leaves before ironing..

This is really lovely. Going to try this. Another idea by Jibid Neary - plant transfers and ink.
