    2002 - Oct 18 (often it is actually a mislabeled 20th Oct)
    2003 - March 28 (I only have a partial - missing 3 min at end)
    2004 - May 28 mine is a damaged mix of two episodes

      Violet Carson had previously been a much loved presenter on a radio show for children as "Auntie Violet". My mother remembers her from that with much affection.

      She was a lovely kind lady by all accounts, who dressed like a duchess off screen....furs, jewels etc.

      @@annmc8392 I think the ones who dislike him have known people like him. Seeing him twice a week for a few minutes is very different to seeing someone just like him all the time.

      As Dr Who said, around this time, "There never was a golden age". Somehow though, a lot if us would still go back if we could. At least my knees would be better if I did.

      @@londonlady227 Yes, the great third Doctor. A big influence on me when I was growing up.
      I think the difference as we grow older is that the troubles of our youth were ones we'd grown up with and were part of our "normal". We grew up dealing with them. Modern troubles are new or the same old ones redressed in modern clothes. Better the devil you know, and all that.

      The announcer messed up his words - he should have said Bingo Brian Tilsley, given that Bri's prominent choppers suggested he could be related to Bingo from the Banana Splits. Suzie Birchall referred to him as Brian the Teeth.

      She appeared on and off from 1961 to 1984. Mostly off, but she wasn't very likeable.

      That was a mistake here, for special occasions Ena used to take the net off and dazzle us with her immaculate shampoo and set.

      She was Tricia's old schoolfriend and they both worked at the warehouse across the street. Tricia's parents and gran ran the corner shop for a while in 1974-75.
